People like us we've gotta stick together Keep your head up, nothing lasts foreverThe way Maiko was looking at her sent shivers if delight through Kagami; no one had ever looked at her like that, and for once she felt like she was the center of someone else's world, and she loved it. The shy young girl smiled, genuine joy lighting up her features. Joy; now, when was the last time she had felt that? When Lei first came to the school to be with her? Seeing Junko after that long and terrible summer? It didn't matter. She felt it now, and it was obvious to anyone who would have looked at her. Kagami was glowing with it, her affection for Maiko making her radiate happiness. And she could tell her partner felt it too. She loved that she could do that to someone, make them happy like that. She tensed only a tiny bit when Maiko ran her hand through her hair, but she quickly melted into the contact. She blinked up at her, her cheeks pink and her smile still radiating. When Maiko herself blushed and leaned into her, Kagamis eyes widdened in surprise and anticipation, not sure what was about to happen but deciding to go alone with whatever it was. But the words shocked her. Be Maikos princess? Kagamis cheeked turned from pink to crimson, her eyes shining in wonder. Go out with her? As in... Be her girlfriend? Te thought sent a warm rush through Kagami; being someone's girlfriend... How magical, how beautiful would that be? The fear that she would be hurt again was still gnawing at the back of her mind, but the heavy beat of her heart silenced it. Hesitantly she too removed one of her hands, placing delicately on Maikos cheek, wonder evident in her face. "M-Maiko- Chan..." She whispered. She smiled again and in a stronger voice, "I... I would love to be your... Princess." She said, standing on her toes to rest her forward against Maikos. "As long as... As you'll be mine." Here's to the damned, to the lost and forgotten It's hard to get high when you're living on the bottom Notes- UWAAAAAAA THIS IS SO ADORABLE AND I LOVE IT AND KAGAMIS GOT A GIIIIIIRL!!!!!! AHHHHH!!!! (Is totally fangirling right now XD)

Just like a crow chasing the butterfly dandelions lost in the summer sky When you and I were getting high as outer space, I never thought you'd slip away I guess I was just a little too late.Junko had only taken a few steps before she heard Yoru speak behind her. She turned around, surprised; she hadn't expected anyone to follow her, and had assumed she would be walking back alone. The sight of the second price following her made her smile a tiny bit, despite her grief; she nodded at Yoru and then turned to walk with her back to the ball. For the first time in a long time, Junko felt completely lost for words; the sadness and hurt she felt seemed to swallow up her bubbly attitude. Even so, there was a part of her that felt oddly relieved. She had expressed her feelings, Yuudai had expressed hers. Junko now knew exactly where everything stood, and even though the result wasn't what she had wanted and had hurt she was glad that it was all out in the open. Even more then that, she was genuinely happy that Yuudai was so happy with Emiko. As she had said, she wanted nothing but bliss for her closest friend, and if that meant being with Emiko, well, then so be it. Junko was so lost in her thoughts she almost forgot about her companion. Even though she was hurting, Junko was still Junko; a tiny bit of her old self leaked through with a grin at Yoru. "Thanks for walking back with me, Yoru- Kun." She folded her hands in front of her as she spoke. "I wouldn't have liked to be alone." Junko glanced back over her shoulder where she knew the couple still were, far in the trees. "I didn't want all that..." She said regretfully. "I was just upset, I guess." She lowered her head a bit, looking at her converses as she spoke. "Emiko- Chan looked so sad..."

She'd opened her heart up to Kagami, taken a big chance on asking her out on a date. Maiko was acting on all the dreams and desires she'd ever had. Part of her worried that she was being too quick to act. That she'd frighten away this girl who'd become so important to her so quickly. Yet if she didn't act there might never be another chance to ask her. It was a romantic evening, featuring an intimate dance between two girls who'd met only recently. At least that was how Maiko saw it.
Her worries were cast away swiftly by the affection that Kagami was radiating as their contact became more intimate. A full, genuinely happy smile showed how happy her partner was. Maiko was undeniably happy when Kagami melted at her stroking the white haired girl's hair. A tiny pinkness highlighted her cheeks, and she looked up in such a touching way. The blue haired girl couldn't believe that she'd been so lucky as to meet a girl like this. And under the Memory Tree no less!
It was all coming together now. Her mother had met someone special under that tree, and now she had too. What if she had to leave that girl behind, like her mother, to marry and have children? No, Maiko told herself. She wouldn't let that happen. Maiko had someone she loved, and it wasn't anyone her mother would try to fix her up with. There was no way that Maiko wasn't going to be with Kagami, as long as the other girl would have her
Maiko blushed when the older but smaller girl reached up and delicately placed a hand on her cheek. The hand was very soft. It felt wonderful in ways that words didn't do justice to. When Kagami said she wanted to be Maiko's princess, the blue haired girl's smile could have lit up the room on its own. She'd never thought she would ever get past being the cool older sister who gave advice. Now she had a girlfriend! One who added that she wanted Maiko to be her princess. The wording was touching in a deeply profound way. Long she'd dreamed of being someone's princess.. and now here it was.
"Kagami-chan.. I've always dreamed of being a princess.. of course I'll be yours," she told the girl who was now on her tip toes, "I won't ever leave your side, my princess.."
She then followed pure instinct, which had for once overridden her thoughtful nature. With Kagami leaning up, their faces so close, she thought there was only one thing that would be appropriate. Maiko had a slightly anxious look to her eyes before closing them, leaning down more.. and kissing the other girl. It was just light meeting of the lips, but it electrified the tall Miator student. Pulling back she blushed and looked slightly apologetic.
"I.. I didn't mean to be so forward... but, Kagami-chan.. I.. I love you," she remarked, then tried to change the subject a little, "Now that we're going out, I need to show you something I bought a little while ago. You'll be the first one to see me wear it besides the friend who encouraged me to buy it. The first to see big, tall Maiko dressed like a Lolita princess.." "M-Maiko- Chan..." She whispered. She smiled again and in a stronger voice, "I... I would love to be your... Princess." She said, standing on her toes to rest her forward against Maikos. "As long as... As you'll be mine."
OOC: Gwah! I know! I'm totally doing the same thing, 'cause Maiko's got a girl!

People like us we've gotta stick together Keep your head up, nothing lasts foreverThe smile that Maiko gave her made The night all the more amazing; the happiness Kagami had brought to her dear friend thrilled her to no end. No, not friend; girlfriend. Princess. Kagami grinned brightly at Maikos words, promising never to leave her side, talking about her dream. "I... I'm happy I c-could make your dream come true, Maiko- Chan." She said softly. Then, as Maiko moved closer to her Kagami knew what was about to happen. Her eyes widdened and suddenly BAM! She was back under the pier, with the demon prince herself, as she traced Kagamis jaw line and moved in for the kill... But this kiss was nothing like that. Where as the other made her heart stop in fear, this one made it quicken with happiness. The other kiss had been dark, lustful, but this one... This one made Kagami lite up with glee, it made her feel like the world had stopped around her, like nothing else existed. Just her and Maiko. Nothing else mattered. All too soon it was ended, and Kagamis eyes fluttered open to see her beloved with a light blush. She smiled lightly, her cheeks too being stained pink. While it wasn't her first kiss, it was her first genuine one, and it made her feel giddy and bubbly inside. But Maikos words shocked her. I love you. The phrase bounced around Kagamis brain as she tried to process it. Maiko loved her. Her cheeks faded from pink to red, her eyes glistening with tears of joy. Could it be real? Kagami half expected herself to wake up now from a gentle dream, a wonderful fantasy that would quickly time- out. But as a few seconds went by Kagami realized that it wasn't a dream. It was real, and in her happiness Kagami threw herself against Maiko, into her arms, pulling herself closer then she had ever been to anyone before. "I... I l-love you too, Maiko- Chan!" She said, her voice breaking a bit trough her emotions. At Maikos next comment, Kagami again couldn't help but smile. She pulled back a bit as she composed herself, and then, "I'd love to see anything you have to show me." Here's to the damned, to the lost and forgotten It's hard to get high when you're living on the bottom

"Thanks for walking back with me, Yoru- Kun. I wouldn't have liked to be alone."The scarlet prince nodded, giving the smaller girl a gentle smile. "No need to thank me, Junko-san. I'm more than happy to. Besides..." She averted her gaze, staring up at the passing trees as she walked. "...I didn't really want to let you go alone." The two walked in silence for a while, both lost in their own thoughts. But it wasn't the awkward silence Yoru was used to. It was sad, but still somewhat comfortable. Suddenly, Junko spoke again. "I didn't want all that... I was just upset, I guess. Emiko- Chan looked so sad..."Yoru's eyes softened a bit. After everything that had just happened, the ivory princess still held concern for Emiko. 'She really has a good heart...' Bringing her gaze back to her companion, she began to speak. "I know you didn't mean for this to happen... But you musn't blame yourself. You can't really control how you feel about someone... Trust me, I know..." She said softly, feeling her heart sink a little as she spoke. "Emiko-chan was upset too. But that wasn't your fault. She's...very fragile emotionally, and things like this are really hard for her to handle. I don't think she wanted any of this to happen either, but... I guess everything happens for a reason." She wasn't really sure what else she could say. In her heart, she wished she could just reach out and hug the whitenette and make everything magically better. But of course, that was an impossible dream shattered by cruel reality. 'This is exactly why I hate love...' She thought bitterly, angry that she couldn't do more to heal her friend's wounds. She hated feeling so helpless.

It was like the advice Yukiko had given her was more of prophecy than simply counsel. Her princess had found her, and she was still someone's princess in return. They sometimes said that love came from the most unexpected places. In the past she'd fallen for an older girl and failed to even speak to her. She'd lost that chance, and hadn't wanted to lose it with Kagami. Now they were in each other's arms as close as could be.
A wave of warmth washed over her as her new girlfriend said she loved her. I love you. Words Maiko had never thought she'd hear another girl tell her. This was the happiest moment of her life on Astraea Hill bar none. No thoughts about what would happen later crossed her mind. They had enough just dancing with each other, the night waning as they celebrated their newfound love.
The taller, strong underclassman and the smaller, shy upperclassman. A reverse of what would be a more typical pairing if there was one. No, she reminded herself, there were no typical pairings. Only in the sense that they loved each other, not in who they were or what they looked like. As she gazed down into Kagami's eyes again, she blushed just as much as her girlfriend.
"Then we'll do it sometime. Would you like to visit my dorm, or should I come to yours?" she asked, smiling at the thought of prancing about in the Lolita dress and accessories she'd purchased. A nice compliment to Kagami's natural cuteness.
"I'd love to do anything you're interested in too, Kagami-chan.. I don't want to jeopardize all our activities," she added happily, her graceful dancing becoming more free and improvised, "Anything you want, just ask. Even another kiss, right now if you'd like."
Maiko winked at her, adding, "To think we met under that tree... I know someone else who found love there, long ago. That was the happiest time in her life.. let's be happy as long as we can, Kagami-chan."

Shun was quite pleased with how the evening was turning out. She observed her two friends dance, with a quiet curiosity. As they shared their moment, the magician had begun to idly lay out the cards in a brief game of solitaire. It was a fine way to pass by the time.
Eventually, the taller of the two girls, leaned in for a kiss. She could only guess what Maiko and Kagami were discussing, but it didn't take a great deal of detective work at that point. It would seem that they were quite engrossed with one another. Something Shun had begun to suspect a little earlier. It was a most satisfactory outcome and one that she would have actively applauded, were she not a bit more reserved in her mannerisms. After all, one did have to keep up appearances.
The magician added another card to one of the rows she had begun to build. Perhaps she should start looking for someone to dance with, herself. There were at least two other girls milling about who appeared to be by themselves. One, was trying not to look too uncomfortable as she mingled with a few of her classmates. Short purple hair and a dark tan skin that clashed with her white jacket.
Pink eyes drifted to another solitary figure camped out at a nearby table. With a hood drawn up it was hard to make out who it was, but she appeared to be older. Quite the mystery that one was. Shun debated approaching either of the two and elected to simply let the evening provide her with a dance partner. She had already promised a dance to both of the two lovebirds who were already on the floor. Perhaps sometime after that, she would find her own partner for the evening. Her flowers were at the ready. Surely there would be a fine opportunity to pull that trick off.

OOC: I figure I'd briefly toss Akemi and Coyote into the post. Still no plans for those two yet, but if anyone has a free character feel free to approach 'em!

♂ I z a n a m i " Y u u d a i " S a t o ♂ 【 Winter Ball 】 ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬⊗✇ ♡ ✇⊗▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬● Yuudai's stare on Emiko never faltered as she spoke, her delicate words mending her wounded heart. "Emiko-chan..." the blonde prince muttered, looking up at her beloved princess. Her crimson eyes were gentle as she rose to full height, bringing her large hands to Emiko's petite face, thumbing away her tears. "When you smile, the whole world is smiling." the prince said, a broad grin easing on to her handsome demeanor. "So let's wipe away those tears, okay? It hurts me to see you like this." She brought out the handkerchief that rested comfortably in her tuxedo pocket, patting down Emiko's tear-stained face. In the corner of her eye, she caught the sight of Junko preparing to leave. A wave of guilt overcame the blonde knowing how much it must have pained the young girl to see this. For a moment, she was afraid the night would repeat itself once again only until the crimson knight stepped in, joining Junko. Yuudai felt herself breathe a sigh of relief; the rival would help cheer up the young girl, she had the feeling. And who knows, maybe she might even be the prince who Junko needed? Only time could unravel her fairytale just like it did for Emiko's, so she figured that it'd be best if she left the two alone. The blonde prince shifted her gaze to the golden angel, her crimson eyes growing gentle as she endearingly gazed at the girl. She was overcame with warmth and happiness, a soft blush rising on her fair cheeks. "I love you so much, you know." The prince blushed as she arched herself forward bringing her darling's face closer to hers, feeling her warm breath on her lips. She smiled once more before delivering a gentle kiss on her sweetheart's lips. It was the second time she had tasted that sweet taste of Emiko's kiss, she would be lying if she said she wasn't addicted. She loved this girl so much all she wanted to do was kiss her and cherish her all day. The prince wrapped her arms around the princess' petite body, pulling her in to a warm embrace. "From now on, I'll be the only one to hold you like this, alright?" Yuudai said, her tone was caring and a pitch of selfishness sprinkled her words. Her grasp on the princess tightened as she cuddled up beside her, a brisk breeze flowing through the area. ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬⊗✇ ♡ ✇⊗▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬● Notes: Word Count: 007

People like us we've gotta stick together Keep your head up, nothing lasts foreverAll the pain that had been inflicted upon Kagami in the last year and a half slowly drained away. The love that she felt blossoming within her left no room for any of that. Kagamis thoughts drifted to her parents, and her life back home. She bit her lip in a bit of nervousness; what would her mother and father do when they found out she had a girlfriend? The final straw for them, the reason why she had been sent away was her attraction to other females. They had never known about Junko being the same way and quite honestly, Kagami didn't think they would have cared anyway. Junko was and always would d their darling girl. But Kagami wasn't. And she never would be. She was the outsider, the one that didn't belong. What would her family say about her dearest Maiko? Kagami pushed those thoughts away with another bright smile. It didn't matter what they thought or did, at least not now; for now, Kagami was Maikos princess, and Maiko was hers. They belonged to each other, and Kagami trusted that no matter what happened, they would hold each other up. The thought of her darling in a Lolita dress made Kagami giggle. The image alone was adorable. She couldn't imagine what it would be like in real life but she was certain in would be even cuter, if such a thing was possible. "Well..." She said, still smiling from her mental imaging, "whatever would be easier for you, Maiko- Chan. It... It might make sense for me to come over your dorm, since its already there and I w-wouldn't want you to have to carry everything across campus." Maiko expressing giving Kagami another kiss was enough to fluster the snow- haired girl. "I... You... You can k-kiss me... Wh-whenever you... I mean, you... We..." She stopped, her eyes wide and her cheeks reddened. She didn't really know what else to say without embarrassing herself so she simply stood again in her toes and kissed Maiko lightly on her cheek, right where her hand had been. Her flustered- ness dissipated with Maikos next statement; it was true, it was so romantic and Maiko saying she knew someone who had once met her love under the memory tree made Kagamis heart soar; maybe that was a good omen! "I'm glad we met there." Kagami said, sincerely. "I... I wouldn't have had it any other way." Here's to the damned, to the lost and forgotten It's hard to get high when you're living on the bottom

"Emiko-chan... When you smile, the whole world is smiling. So let's wipe away those tears, okay? It hurts me to see you like this."A soft smile tugged at her lips as her gentle prince wiped away her tears. She couldn't believe that after all of this, Yuudai was still treating her like a princess. 'But I guess...love does crazy things to people...' She looked up at the tall blonde, whose kind and loving gaze dissolved whatever sadness the little lamb had left in her eyes. "Gomenasai, Yuudai-kun... I...I never meant to hurt you..." She bit her lip softly, lowering her gaze to the ground. Surprise overtook her when her prince leaned in and stole another kiss, a deep blush staining her cheeks, and soon after she felt herself being pulled into a warm embrace. "I love you so much, you know. From now on, I'll be the only one to hold you like this, alright?"Emiko couldn't help but let a soft giggle slip through as she snuggled into the embrace. "I love you too, Yuudai-kun... And I wouldn't have it any other way. There's no one whose arms I'd rather be in." She shivered a bit as the brisk winter breeze sent a chill down her spine. Normally being in the cold for so long would make her uncomfortable. But being her like this with Yuudai made it all worthwhile. "You know... This whole time, I was so scared... I thought I was gonna lose you..." She murmured softly, closing her eyes. "I've never been so terrified to lose someone before... So please... Promise me you won't ever leave..." The little sixth year knew she was probably asking too much. But there was a part of her heart that held high hopes. Yuudai really did mean the world to her. And, of course, no real fairytale would be complete without a happy ever after... Right?

These words comforted the prince, a handsome chuckle overcame her. She brought the young girl closer into her embrace, protecting her from the harsh winter breeze. How would she describe her feelings now? Knowing that the love of your life would never leave your side, knowing that she will always love you even if someone else were to stumble on to her path - Yuudai was most definitely relieved. Knowing that your beautiful princess was yours and would always be yours, that this majestic feeling would last forever - Yuudai couldn't help but feel like she was walking on air. The crystal tears that had fallen off of her princess' face, the scar Yuudai had left in her heart that she wasn't sure that could ever be mended - the golden prince was determined to protect her love from ever feeling that way again. She would become the Knight in Shining Armor for Emiko, fighting away anything that would cause the girl misery. The blonde warmed at the girl's next words, her heart began pounding faster and faster, she was sure that the beauty could feel the thumping underneath her outfit. A light blush rose in the prince's cheeks as she gazed at her lover, her crimson orbs hinting a timid expression. Yuudai soaked in Emiko's delicate words reaching for her hand, lacing their fingers together. Years from now, she still wanted Emiko to be snug in her arms, surrounded by family, the both of them smiling and laughing. Waking up beside the one she loved every day, their love increasing each day. She wanted to do was grow old with Emiko, counting each wrinkle as every year passes by. "Marry me?" she questioned suddenly. Despite the seriousness of the question, her voice was calm and steady, the expression mirrored in her features. It seemed like even Yuudai wasn't prepared for the proposal, a deep blush spreading across her face as her orbs widened with surprise. How did she manage to say such an important question so easily? Yet she continued on with the question, timidly hiding her face behind her flaxen locks. "Th-that way we can always be together..." she stammered, her voice almost a whisper. Her love for Emiko was infinite and undying even after this whole misunderstanding. But in the end, this night only made their love stronger. ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬⊗✇ ♡ ✇⊗▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬● Notes: It's a pretty early and sudden proposal but I thought it was the perfect the moment. * A * )/ Word Count: 007

"Marry me? Th-that way we can always be together..."The little lamb's heart nearly burst out of her chest when she heard those words. It took a moment before her mind could even fully register what had been said. 'D-Did Yuudai-kun...just ask me to...marry her...?' Emiko's pale cheeks turned about twenty different shades of red. "Y-Yuudai-kun..." She murmured, breaking into a bright smile. Without thinking, she flung her arms around the tawny's neck, pulling her into into a passionate kiss. A bold move for the timid lamb, but she was too caught up in her joyous moment to care. As she pulled away, she took the prince's hand into her own once more. Still smiling, she gazed lovingly into Yuudai's crimson orbs, tears of joy spilling softly from her own. "...Yes. A thousand times yes. I would be honored to be your wife, Yuudai-kun." There was an unusual amount of confidence in her voice. Never had she had the courage to be so bold. But this was a special occasion. An occasion where her love gave her strength she never knew she had. "This really is a dream come true..." Her gentle grip on Yuudai's hand tightened a bit as she spoke. Part of her wondered if maybe that was all this was: a wonderful, beautiful, amazing dream. But as she stood there, gazing into her lover's eyes, she knew it had to be real. It was funny, really. She had always been looked down upon for believing so strongly in fairytales. She was told that such things could never be real. That there was no such thing as Prince Charming, or brave knights, or happy ever after. 'But...they were wrong.' The thought made her heart flutter. "Aishiteru, Ouji-sama..." Note: ...I think the amount of fangirling I did upon reading your post was unhealthy... But it was just too cute to resist. XD

Maiko raised an eyebrow when she noticed that Kagami was biting her lip, contemplating something. She wondered what her beloved upperclassman was thinking about. With how happy they were together she really hoped she could help her girlfriend cast worries aside. Of course she had her own, like trying to explain to her mother that she had no intention of marrying any of the suitors that were likely to be sent her way.
For so long she'd been resigned to the likelihood of just following in the family tradition. No longer was that the case. Obviously her mother wouldn't be pleased with the development, but for once Maiko didn't care. She had Kagami and that was all that mattered to her. A pair of princesses against a world of expectations from others. She wanted to shield Kagami from any problems any of those others might raise.
The more she thought about it, the more walking around in a Lolita dress wouldn't be such a bad idea. Especially if Kagami were waiting for her. It had taken quite some doing for someone else to convince her to buy the dress. Even after she'd bought it she wanted a special reason to wear it. Nothing could be more special than sharing it with her darling Kagami. Getting kissed on the cheek made Maiko blush, then smile with incredible happiness. Before saying anything else she leaned forward and kissed Kagami again, running her fingers through the other girl's hair again. This time she held the kiss longer, letting its tenderness last as long as she could.
Finally she let it go so she could speak, "I have an even better idea, Kagami-chan. Instead of just you coming to see it, why don't you help me get ready? I'd really love it if you'd do my hair right; I haven't been able to figure out anything that would look good with it. Something tells me my darling Kagami-chan will be able to fix it right."
She smiled happily as she agreed with Kagami on their meeting, "I think that the Memory Tree really does have a power. It brought us together.. I'll tell you about the girl I know who met her beloved there sometime. They were really in love, from what I can tell. I hope we're as happy together as they were."
Then Maiko did a little twirl, still holding Kagami, "Now, my princess, what do you want to do for a date? I think that you should choose."

Ball- People like us we've gotta stick together Keep your head up, nothing lasts foreverHow amazing was it, that two girls who had met twice were so certain of their love for each other. Maiko was the first person in a long time who had opened her arms for Kagami, had accepted her and been patient with her frail emotions. Maiko didn't care about her family, she didn't care that Kagami was scared and hurting. She had taken her under her wing nonetheless, allowed her time to heal and then slowly raised her back up to her feet. Maiko was an angel to Kagami, one who had finally taught her how to fly. Kagami welcomed the second kiss with considerably less surprise, but the effects were much the same. Again, the world around her fell away, and the only thing that mattered to her was Maiko and her. Kagami kept her arms around Maikos neck as her heart fluttered and leapt. The feeing of her girlfriends hand moving through her hair and the pressure of Maikosips against hers had to be the most magical sensation in the world; surely nothing could compare to it. When the kiss broke Kagami took a deep breath, trying to steady her speeding heart. Maikos words worried her a bit; help her get ready? Kagami was mediocre at best with such things; her hair was short and naturally straight so not much had to be done with it. She didn't wear makeup. Still, Junko had instructed her a few times on things like curling irons and the like and if Maiko wanted her to do it, then she would certainly try. "I... I'm not really that good at... Th-those kinds of things." She said with a shy smile. "B-but Ill try my best." "It's certainly a b-beautiful place." The whitenettes smile was accented by her soft voice. "And I would be happy to listen to your story." Kagami couldn't help but giggle at Maikos twirl; it was so cute. He beamed up at her, her genuine happiness again just bubbeling out of her. But thoughts were sent spinning at the taller girls question. A date? Kagami didn't exactly know anything about dates, having never been on one. What did she like to do? Well, there was her horse but Maiko had already met Lei and she didn't want to bore her. There was her art work, but how could that be made into a date? "M-maybe we could go to town? To a... A cafe or something? Or... Um..." She looked up at her, hoping her mediocre answer wasn't too disappointing. "I'm really fine with whatever you would like, Maiko- Chan." Here's to the damned, to the lost and forgotten It's hard to get high when you're living on the bottom

At first Maiko had been very hesitant to try and kiss her delicate darling. Kagami was a precious flower she desperately wanted to avoid crushing by being too forceful with her advances. Only as long as her girlfriend reacted positively would Maiko continue any behavior. If Kagami was happy then so was she. For her it felt so wonderful just to have someone to share her experiences with, she didn't particularly what they did together. They could just go down to the orchard and sit together, and that would be fine for Maiko.
Kagami was adorable when she wasn't sure of herself, though it was Maiko's consensus that she was always adorable. Standing there with her arms around Maiko's neck, smiling shyly as she said she'd do her best, it was a very beautiful thing. Then how she giggled when Maiko twirled around. Her beaming smile showing how happy she really felt. If anyone in the room was an angel, it was this girl in her arms. An angel who'd appeared one day to lift Maiko out of her self doubt and grant her greatest wish. A girl to love, treasure and make part of her life.
"Your best is more than good enough for me, Kagami-chan. I'm sure you'll do a wonderful job with my hair! I believe in you, because I love you. I'll even make sure to wash it really thoroughly and brush it out so it's easier for you to work with. Unless you want to brush it?" she asked, expression wistful as she wondered what it would be like having Kagami help her get dressed. Wonderful, that was her first thought.
"You don't have to worry, I'll love wherever you want to go. Being with you is the best part of any date, no matter where we end up," Maiko assured the girl in her arms, "Sitting at a café with you, relaxing and sharing stories would be a wonderful time. Maybe a little later we can go for a stroll before coming back to Astraea to visit Lei? Does that sound good to you?"
