Most of you know the drill, but here's a refresher. How to run for Etoile:
1. Make sure you have a partner, and unlike the previous years, your partner no longer has to be from the same school! Any girl, any school, age does not matter (except of course she cannot be a 6th year about to graduate or a teacher). If you're new to the rp, that's fine! You can still run!
2. Once you and your partner have decided to run for Etoile, pm me your names and what school you're both from.-This is the initial application.
3. You and your partner must then work on writing the story of your girls, make it about 500-800 words long. You must describe how they met, how they fell in love, and why they deserve to be Etoile. (I prefer that you write it together, but its okay if only one of you writes it.)
Note: In your Etoile stories, don't add anything that didn't happen in the rp, use only events from the rp that you've actually role played out. You may use history from your bios, but only if it adds support to explaining the significance of a role play event that happened between you two.
Basically, don't add random new stuff that never happened on the boards, that's cheating!
4. Once you have the story written, pm it to me or you can pm it to me at the same time as your initial application. Make sure it's your final draft. You will be able to make revisions until the day we transition into Summer, but please try to only send me your finished version.
5. On the first day of summer, your story and the stories of all the other applicants will be posted in "The Mouth of Truth" inside the gate board.
6. The site will vote on who's story/love they think is deserving of the Etoile titles. Everyone will vote based on spelling/grammar, emotional connection, writing talent, and the overall romance of your girls.
7. During the two months of summer, everyone will vote. So you'll have two months of waiting, that way in case someone can't get on for a while, they will still get to vote. Yes the waiting will kill us all, but it makes sure everyone who's anyone gets a chance to vote.
8. Next Fall will finally roll around. The winning Etoile pair will be posted in the Etoile table on the left side of the site, along with the new SCPs.
Running for SCP:
To run for student council president, you do not need a partner, simply be a 5th year student (or younger) and send me a 150-200 word story of how being SCP would affect your character's plot and why she should have the position along her with her full name and year in school. These stories will also be posted on the first day of Summer and voted for. If you would like to run for both Etoile and SCP, you may. If you win both, you will be given the Etoile position, and the SCP runner up will win the SCP election.
