Christmas Eve! Setting:This year just for a little bit of a european twist, the main christmas celebrations are being held on Christmas Eve instead of Christmas Day! As the day winds down into the evening, the festivities can begin. Wind down and relax in your dorms, or go to the other school dorms to see what events they are doing! Each school dorm is doing something different. Get cozy in the glow of the fireplace with someone special, and enjoy the various twinkling christmas lights against the backdrop of a snowy night sky. Then enjoy cookies and hot milk before bed! Merry christmas everyone! Dorm Events:Miator:: The Miator dorm is like taking a personal trip to Santa's workshop, with Miator students bustling around like elves and giving out presents to everyone! You can give gifts to your friends and wrap gifts for loved ones to give on christmas day, or if you just cant wait you can open them now! Christmas is all about giving, and Miator knows this, the dorm filled with delighted squeals and the ripping sounds of paper. Don't worry if you forgot to go christmas shopping, Miator's secret Santa is here to lend a hand! Lulim:: Join the creative girls at Lulim and try your hand at some Christmas arts and crafts! Make pretty pink paper lanterns, design greetings cards, and even bake some yummy gingerbread cookies with Lulim's cooking club and much more! If you don't want to take part, they always need people to taste their creations too! if you make a lantern, dont forget to make a wish before you send it flying off into the night sky! The Lulim dorm is filled with cheer and sweet goodies to warm you up! Spica:: The forever competitive and playful students of Spica have set up some christmas fun and games! go and join them for some harmless competition! Various board games have been set up in the Spica dorm, as well as card games and many others! Take part in rounds of games against others to fight your way to the top of the scoreboards, or simply play a casual game with your friends! Don;t get too carried away, and try to remember that it's all for fun, not about winning or losing! Notes/Ideas:The set up this year, similar to last year, is that each dorm is holding a different activity for Christmas. Your character can be one of the those helping to run the various activities, or you can simply be enjoying the festivities. If You're a Lulim student you can be helping to bake cookies, or lighting candles for the lanterns. If you're a Miator student your character could be running around dressed like an elf, or tying pretty ribbons around gift boxes! If you're a Spican student then you can help host the games, referee over the scores, keep track of the winners or simply just take part!! Have fun and enjoy your fabulous Christmas evening! Post length requirements for this event: 1p-3+p Thread type: Group/Open Enjoy all!

Christmas Eve at Astraea Hill... It was almost like something straight out of a child's storybook. The girls of Miator busied themselves with gift wrapping that would make even Saint Nicholas proud. Spica's students, holding true to their competitive spirits, were making sure the night was filled with fun and games. In the halls of Lulim, the scent of freshly baked gingerbread filled the air as girls worked tirelessly on the Christmas crafts and paper lanterns. Alone in the kitchen stood a small, pink-haired girl. Her Santa-themed attire was accompanied by her signature cat ears and tail. The bells on her collar and tail jingled softly as she bustled about the room, trying her hardest not to drop the fruits of her labor as she did. It was none other than first year Lulim Yukari Iru, the peppy, cat-loving baker. An active member of the cooking club, the young student had decided to come in early to get a jump start on the baking. It felt rather strange to be all by herself, but Yukari didn't mind all that much. Baking was her passion, and the Christmas spirit provided even more motivation. More than anything, she wanted to be able to contribute, and make people smile. The happiness of others was always her main goal. As she gently pressed the cookie cutters into the dough, she couldn't help but smile, hoping that the other girls would enjoy the treats as much as she enjoyed making them. Her role in the festivities was a small one, but she was happy to participate nonetheless. Still, it was getting a bit lonely in the kitchen...though there wasn't much she could do but wait for someone else to show up. Part of her wanted to visit the other schools and see what they were up to. "But I have to finish these cookies first... Work before play, nya!" She reminded herself.

I don't know why nobody told you How to unfold your love I don't know how someone controlled you They bought and sold you.It wasn't very busy yet, but already the energetic buzz of Christmas Eve was filling the air around them. A group of Spican girls ran this way and that, setting up the games and activities that would be held throughout the day. And at the center was a white hair girl named Junko Hiruko. She stood at one of the tables, straightening the games and answering questions. "No, this goes over there." And "Yes, that's great!" The young Student council president radiates excitement; she was determined to make this Christmas unforgettable! She turned around and sighed contentedly; she was proud of all the good work her school was doing. She couldn't wait to see how everyone else would like it, as she was sure they would. She reached up and straightened the red Santa hat placed upon her head with a giggle; she loved this time of year. She loved the snow, she loved the feelings of togetherness. (Not to mention; PRESENTS!) But the warm feelings came wrapped in grief; Miator was still in shambles, the wing destroyed by the earthquake still lifeless against the snow. Junko felt sorry for all the Miator students, who must have been going through so much. She stood up straighter, a smile blooming on her face; negetive thoughts would help noone. For now, she had to focus on giving as many people as she could a most merry Christmas! I look at the world and I notice it's turning While my guitar gently weeps With every mistake we must surely be learning Still my guitar gently weeps.

It was bound to be a pleasant evening all over Astraea Hill. Coyote found herself oddly excited. She was going to make a quick lap around all three campuses. First up was Lulim, to grab a few treats, then Miator to pick up se treats and hopefully she could meet a few friends back at St. Spica.
The Canadian did want to make sure she grabbed some things for those friends. Maybe even for one certain girl. But, she would have to be sneaky. She wanted this to be a bit of a surprise after all. The fact that she still wasn't sure what to get, may also have been a factor.
When she got to LeRim, she realized that she might have been a little preemptive. No one else was around. In some respect, this was a good thing. On the other hand there was nothing there for to retrieve. A voice carried its way to her attention. Following it to the source, she found a sight she had not expected.
"A cargirl?" She tilted her head before clapping a hand over her mouth, "Ah! S-sorry! I didn't mean to intrude, I just, uh...I was just wondering if there were any...you know...cookies or stuff, available."

Yukari was happily baking away, alternating between putting things into the oven and putting finished products on the trays. Humming Christmas carols as she worked, she kept her back to the door. So it was no surprise when she failed to notice that someone had walked in. "A catgirl?"The sudden sound caught Yukari off guard, making her jump a little. She stumbled a bit as she quickly turned around, nearly dropping the tray in her hands in her haste. Thankfully, her reflexes made up for her lack of coordination. A light blush tinted her cheeks, as she was clearly embarrassed by her clumsiness. "Ah! S-sorry! I didn't mean to intrude, I just, uh...I was just wondering if there were any...you know...cookies or stuff, available.""Oh, don't worry about it! You're not intruding." She giggled softly, giving the girl a bright smile. Placing the hot tray onto the counter, she bowed politely before pointing at one of the tables. "There are some cookies over there that are cool and ready to eat. I've also got some brownies somewhere around here. I'm afraid there's not a whole lot, 'cause...well...I'm kinda the only one here at the moment... Gomen." She smiled apologetically,

The Spica dorms were filled with excitement. Girls were cheering and yelling as they got caught up in simple board games, and the sound of rolling dice clinking together could be heard from anywhere in the room.
As for Atsuko, she wasn't participating in a game, nor was she helping to run one. The blonde was walking around the room, admiring all the festivities going on. It's too bad there isn't any sort of christmas carol singing, she thought. That's practically the only thing I'm good at.
She had dressed festively today, in a red knit sweater with a white skirt. Her bracelet, necklace, and earings were all green. Her hair was also tied up with a green elastic.
Seeing that mostly all the games were taken, Atsuko didn't know what to do. It would be fine if someone approached her and asked her to join them, but she wasn't very good at initiating conversation with strangers. That was when the blonde saw an empty table out of the corner of her eye, with a lone deck of cards sitting on it. Smiling happily at finding something to occupy herself with, she sat down at the table and pulled out the cards. She was determined to make a house of cards, but when she placed the first two cards, they immediately fell down. Atsuko sighed. She may be here for a while.

Coyote was happy to be let off the hook and her relief was clearly visable when the girl offered up a smile. At least nothing disastrous had happened. The outfit the girl had worn was not exactly one she had expected to see. And neither had she expected to blurt out her surprise. It was a cute get-up however.
"Oh, I see--" she looked around at the available goodies the girl had prepared when what she said finally dawned on her, "Wait. You've been working here by yourself?"
She looked back over to the girl and found an idea popping into her head, "Do ya need a hand? Might as well make up for barging in like I did."
She grinned. Even though the girl said it wasn't a problem, Coyote figured she could make herself a little useful while she was here. And, it seemed, she still had plenty of time to help out here and then sneak on over to Miator's campus afterwards.

Christmas. The holiday didn't have much meaning to Himiko Miyamae on its own. Her family didn't celebrate it at home, in part because her sisters were never home to have a full family gathering. She did understand that it was supposed to be an event to bring everyone together. Moreover all the schools were doing things to celebrate and spread joy to one another. That was a mission that Himiko could get behind enthusiastically. Having fun was so important, especially in the middle of winter when it got really cold outside and became dark early.
There was a flurry of activity for the Spicans as games were set up and activities prepared. In the center of the maelstrom stood a fellow member of the Spica student council. Not just anyone, but the president herself! That red hat Junko had dawned was actually really cute, though the relevance of it to a day at the end of December was somewhat lost on Himiko. All the same Himiko was ready to be of any assistance she could for preparing her school's contribution to Christmas Eve festivities.
Where to start was another matter. She spent little time speculating and elected to go straight to the source. Smiling cheerfully Himiko made her way through a knot of girls carrying games over to her president. Despite the festive mood Himiko had chosen black trousers and a dark toned knit top for the evening. A colorful golden sash was draped over her left shoulder and across her chest though,
"Madam President! How goes our preparations for this evening?" she called out to Junko with a wave.
Once she was close enough Himiko bowed a little to her superior on the student council and further asked, "Is there anything that I can help out with? I'd be happy to lend a hand wherever it's needed. Also.. can I set up my dice game? I've even got some cute prizes for the winners this time."

"Oh, I see-- Wait. You've been working here by yourself? Do ya need a hand? Might as well make up for barging in like I did."The small Lulim's expression immediately brightened. "It's no trouble, really... But if you're willing to help, I would definitely appreciate it." She smiled, clearly grateful for the girl's kind offer. "It was getting kinda lonely here anyway. Baking's not as fun when there's no one to share it with." As she spoke, a soft blush tinted her cheeks once more. Yukari couldn't help feeling a bit embarrassed. She didn't want to seem like she was desperate for company, after all. Suddenly, she remembered something... "Oh! I completely forgot! We haven't been properly introduced yet. First year Yukari Iru at your service, nya!" She giggled, though she mentally scolded herself for letting the cat-like word slip out again. 'I need to get a hold of myself... This is why everyone thinks I'm a weirdo...' Her heart sunk a little at the thought. Still, she knew she had to stay cheerful. Giving the other another polite bow, she began cutting more cookies as she awaited a response. Being the bubbly, squirrely girl that she was, she always had to keep herself busy.

Coyote nodded her head. Baking was an activity that seemed like it would come with a lot of downtime. She was impressed at the girl's initiative to come down and get started by herself. So, lending a hand and some company to the girl seemed like a nice thing to do.
The Canadian couldn't help but chuckle a little at the cat-like noise that followed a rather bubbly introduction. Yukari seemed rather nice, and (in the back of her mind) she hoped that she didn't think she was laughing at her.
"Coyote-Hymn Foster!" She returned the cheerful introduction with on of her own, "Nice to meet ya!"
She walked over to the table that Yukari was working at tried to figure out what to do next. Cooking and baking? These things were not what one would consider a strong suit.
"Um...so, what do you need me to do?" She asked as she watched Yukari work.

At Miator, a small girl sat at a table, wrapping a present. Her tounge stuck out a bit at tge corner of her mouth in concentration. Applying the last piece of tape, she smiled at her hard work, finally complete. "There! Finished!" Standing up from her seat, the small pink haired girl turned around to observe the rest of the room.
And realized she had no one to give her present to. Shoulders slumping, she let out a small sigh. Oh well. Maybe she's meet someone new today. If not, she could just give it to her mom for Christmas.
Done with the activities here for now, she decided to make her way to the other schools to see what was going on there. Let's see, Spica was doing games, and Lulim was doing crafts. Since she had never been terribly competitive, she decided to head over to Lulim.
After her long walk through the snow, Kiyoko was eager to go inside the warm building. As soon as she opened the doors, the sounds of girls talking filled her ears, as well as...the scent of cookies?
Kiyoko walked in until she found the kitchen, drawn by the scent of the cookies. She had always loved to bake, as well as cook, so the scent was familiar to her. She didn't want to be a bother though, so she would just nab a cookie and continue on her journey of Lulim.
Poking her head in the doorway, she saw two girls talking. One was taller, and certaintly older than her. However, the other girl actually resembled Kiyoko, being a small girl with pink hair. Oddly enough, she was dressed like a cat! Kiyoko giggled softly, thinking it was cute. She also noticed the girl was hard at work on the stove, making cookies. So this girl was the source of the delicious smell! Hm, maybe I shouldn't bother them....after all, they are working...

"Coyote-Hymn Foster! Nice to meet ya!""It's nice to meet you too, Coyote-san!" She chirped cheerily, happy to have such a seemingly friendly girl to work with. She watched as the girl came over to her, clearly puzzled. As if on cue, she spoke again. "Um...so, what do you need me to do?""Well... You could start by helping me carry these cookie sheets to the oven," She said, motioning to the trays on the table. "And then, we can start decorating the gingerbread houses! Um... If you don't mind, that is..." She smiled sheepishly, hoping she didn't seem too overbearing. It was then that she noticed a head of tousled pink hair peering in through the doorway. Standing there was a small girl, who looked to be about her age. Smiling brightly, she called out to her. "Hi there! You can come in if you'd like. Don't be shy, nya!" Her voice was soft, but still maintained its friendly tone.

Carrying things. Well, that was simple enough. Dutifully, Coyote did as she was instructed and picked up two of the sheets of cookies. Careful not to jostle them, as she moved, she listened to the younger girl outline what the next step would be.
"No problem at all!" she said, "Sounds fun, actually."
While the first year may have been a little apprehensive about giving orders, Coyote was willing to take them in stride. After all, Yukari appeared to know what she was doing, so it only made sense to let her take the lead.
As she turned to follow, once more, Coyote was also met with the kitchen's second (technically third) visitor. Another pink-haired girl who appeared to be in the same year as Yukari.
"Oh! Yeah, c'mon in!" Coyote spoke in a louder cadence, but the tone did reflect the LeRim girl's friendliness.

Kiyoko's expression changed to one of surprise as the girls invited her in. She didn't think they had noticed her. Doing as they said, she stepped into the kitchen. "Sorry, I didn't want to bother anyone...Those cookies smell really good," she said, with a small smile on her face. "I couldn't help but come look." Remembering she hadn't introduced herself yet, she bowed. "Uh, my name is Kiyoko Kobashigawa. It's very nice to meet you!"
She figited. She had come in here just to grab a cookie, but...baking was alot of fun, and she didn't really have anything else to do. Still clutching the present in her hand, so said softly "Um, is...is it ok if I help you guys? I'm pretty experienced at baking, so I promise I won't bother you!"

Yukari smiled as Coyote followed her lead by inviting the pinkette in. 'She really is friendly...' She thought, happy to have found someone whose friendly nature matched her own. She watched as the small girl hesitantly stepped into the kitchen. "Sorry, I didn't want to bother anyone...Those cookies smell really good. I couldn't help but come look... Uh, my name is Kiyoko Kobashigawa. It's very nice to meet you!""Oh, don't worry about that. You're not bothering anyone. You're more than welcome to join us!" She said, giving the girl a reassuring smile. "It's very nice to meet you too, Kiyoko-san. I'm Yukari, and this is Coyote-san." "Um, is...is it ok if I help you guys? I'm pretty experienced at baking, so I promise I won't bother you!"Yukari immediately perked up even more at this. She had always been an easily excitable social butterfly, especially when the prospect of making new friends was put on the table. If she had a tail (well...a real one, anyway), it'd be wagging a mile a minute. "That would be great, Kiyoko-san! The more the merrier, nya!" She giggled excitedly, blushing a bit as she remembered Coyote's presence. "You don't mind, right Coyote-san?" She asked, feeling it would only be right to ask the other for her opinion on the matter (despite knowing what the answer would likely be).
