Is your character on the Student Council? Although Cho would like to be part of the council, for one thing she's simply far too shy, and with the added pressure of now carrying the Etoile title, she doesn't feel like she could manage it. Though of course she does have responsibilities within the council now anyway due to being an Etoile.
If yes, what does your character think of the student council president, Naomi Shizuoka? Chokone has something of an odd history with Naomi, the two met at Christmas whilst Cho was serving breakfast in the Lulim dorms. She's almost certain that Naomi was flirting with her, so she's very nervous and somewhat awkward at the mention of her. It's not that she dislikes her, she just would rather keep her distance, though she does respect her position as the Lulim SCP.
Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more:
Cho is a shy student, and because of this shyness she tries her best to stay out of peoples way. She's very sickly and weak, and that is probably the reason for most of her shyness. She doesnt like being in large crowds of people, and generally gets very nervous around others. Despite this, Chokone actually has a very big heart and cares deeply for others. She often worries about the well-being of others, both physically and emotionally. You can count on her to be a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen with. However, this little butterfly is very much living in fairytale, wanting everything to be perfect for everyone, and she tries her best to make it so! Towards elders and staff, she remains the calm, polite, and respectful child at all times. She's quite lonely little girl deep down, even if she seems cheerful on the outside, she wont admit to herself how alone she feels... and so she wears a smile for the world to see. Although she avoids people, she really longs for companionship, so she needs someone who is persistent enough to stick with her, and look after her when her sickness takes hold. She would label herself as a hopeless romantic, a big daydreamer forever wishing for a happy ending! Cho adores animals, and she also loves to cook, particularly cakes and cookies as she has a huge sweet tooth. Cho brought with her a teddy bear named "Arisu" (the Japanese version of the English name "Alice") although she is too embarrassed to carry it anywhere, so it stays tucked away <3
What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole? Cho has always adored the idea of the Etoile pair. The perfect couple, like a princess and 'prince' out of a book. Growing up in a wealthy Japanese family and always knowing she would go to Astraea, she knew of the Etoile legacy long before attending, and always dreamed of earning her spot as a princess. Now she's achieved that dream, with her dear love Shizuka, but her motives now are not just a dream. She wants to restore faith in the Etoile title, and return to it a sense of love, rather than just gossip and popularity.
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday? see above.
What does your character think of Chokone Manatsu and Shizuka Myūzu, the current etoiles? What does she think of herself? Well.... honestly Cho is a little overwhelmed right now, still in a state of shock that they won. Though it's one of her dreams come true, the realisation is starting to sink in that this is far more than just a title. True that she wanted to restore the meaning of love to the Etoile, and together with her partner Shizuka, they will certainly achieve this... but Cho is worried about being in the spotlight and doesn't know if she can handle all the attention.
What does your character think of the other schools? Chokoné is very loving and kind and open minded, as such she is quite content to mingle with students from the other schools, and in fact a lot of people she has met have been from Spica as opposed to Lulim.
~ History ~
Cho is from a highly respected and wealthy Japanese family, and is an only-child, so she has no siblings. The Manatsu family live in a very very big house that is secluded from public view, and this is where Cho spent all her time. She grew up mostly alone in the family home and rarely saw her parents because they were always out working or at meeting or parties and the likes. She was brought up by her beloved Au Pair (nanny) from England, Ophelia Lawrence. Cho was quite sickly as an infant, but luckily since her family was rich there was no issue about paying for her treatment, although as a result she is quite a fragile girl. Even now, Cho still suffers from Immunodeficiency meaning that her immune system is generally weaker than average, coupled with mild Dyspraxia, making her clumsy and prone to accidents. (Hey I did say she was sickly!) Anyway, It only seemed right that the only daughter of such a highly respected family should attend one of the Astraea schools, although her parents wanted her to attend the renowned St Miator. Cho declined the idea of attending Miator, fearing the stiffness of the rules and customs there, and so it was agreed that she would attend Lulim.
History upon Astraea Hill:
First Year:
When Cho's year started out she was the same as ever. Far too shy to talk to anyone, she spent most of her first year alone. She didnt really make many friends, and her illness became steadily worse, spending a large amount of time in the infirmary. This little one is very much still lost in her daydreams and fairy tales. She never got on well with her room mate Dione, in fact they were always fighting. Eventually Cho gave up trying to make friends with Dione, the two simply coexisting, so she is glad to be staying home this year. Cho run into many upperclassmen, but never got to know any of them as she was too fearful. The library was one of her favourite spots during the school term, and it's here that she met two Spica students. Zephyr was one of the first she met, a very peculiar girl that Cho is afraid she might have offended. She also met Miyuki in the smaller Spica Library, when she was feeling quite sick and ventured in there for shelter. Miyuki seemed nice, but Cho didnt meet her much after that. The key people of the year where Shizuka Myuzu, her biggest crush so far and object of her daydreams, and her companion Noir Lei. The three met on confession bridge of the Lulim ground, when Chokone heard Shizuka playing her flute and was mesmerised by the sound. Noir also heard the music, and that is how they met. Cho now finds herself having an internal conflict as she moves into her second year, her heart confused as she has a puppy-dog crush on BOTH of these girls. She has no idea how the relationship will progress or if they'll even show any interest in her, but she always has hope.
Second Year: Cho took summer classes in the holidays to catch up on the time she had missed due to poor health in the previous year, but this meant she was pretty much absent around school grounds. After such a long absence, Cho feared that Noir and Shizuka had forgotten her, and reserved a place for them at the back of her mind. Those memories where brought to the surface when she made friends with Kaida Inuzaki, an elder Spican who Cho was certain had feelings for her. The little one rejected these feelings, heart still reserved for either Noir or Shizuka, but the fresh wave of loneliness was painful. Over half of the next year passed uneventfully, with no word from either of the elders. She spent her time in the cooking club making cookies, and happened across a first year named Ryo, but never saw her again after that. Cho then put these same cooking skills to good use at Christmas where she helped to host the Lulim breakfast for all of the students, something she enjoyed doing very much (Even though it attracted the attention of a tomboyish Lulim names Naomi, who made Cho feel uncomfortable). She briefly spent time with her ex-roomate Diogne Agatha outside of school at the Mall, but Cho's mind was otherwise occupied by thoughts of her crushes from last year. Any hopes of seeing them again seemed dashed until Cho took a nostalgic visit one snowy day to the very bridge they'd met at, where who should she meet but Shizuka? Unfortunately Cho's Dyspraxia kicked in and her clumsiness caused her to slip on the ice, bashing her hear. Shizuka helped her recover from this injury, and as a result the two grew close yet again. The two are now running for the Etoile position together, since Cho hopes it will bring them closer and doesn't want to lose her again.

Like any other day, little Chokone was woken up by the sound of her Au Pair knocking on her large oak panelled bedroom door. As she slowly opened her rich chocolate colored eyes, a tiny yawn fell from her lips. With a giggle she mimicked the nanny's words of "Good Morning Miss. Manatsu" as the english woman entered the room with a tea tray. Pulling herself out of bed, and dragging off the purple satin covers, Cho took the offered cup of tea and sipped it with a bright and sunny smile on her face. "Thankyou Ophelia!" the lilac haired child exclaimed brightly, as the nanny left the room.
Stepping to her feet and feeling the soft plush carpet between her toes, Cho walked over to the large bay window on the left of her room. Her tiny hands tugged at the curtains until they opened a little, letting in a pale streak of morning sunlight that glistened over the silver-painted walls. As she turned away from the window, Chokone glanced at her calender. A loud gasp issued from the childs mouth as she realised what today meant. "I- its my first day at Lulim... I'd almost completely forgotten that was today..." she mumbled fearfully, her eyes going as wide as saucers. The petite girls body began to shake a little out of pure nervousness, but she got ready and dressed all the same.
Now in her new soft pink Lulim uniform, Cho crept down the stairs until she entered the kitchen. Her au pair smiled at her knowingly, sensing her fear, and she gave the girl a supportive hug. After about half an hour, now fully breakfasted, Chokone picked up her patchwork shoulder bag and headed out the door. Ophelia carried the large suitcase behind her, as the fragile girl was far too weak to lift it by herself. The bags and the suitcase were put into the shiny black Manatsu family car, and before Cho could blink they were driving to Astraea Hill...
