She hooked each photo carefully as the rest soaked. Careful to gently place the pictures just so. As darkened shadows loomed over, red lights buzzed as photos became memories. As she watched the black squares become colorful photos she smiled, though felt saddened by the images of her and Alice. They hadn't spoken or saw one another since. Jessie wasn't sure what this meant, sighing in frustration she finished up. Carefully leaving the room she locked it . Placing a sign up on the door to warn others of the project that is being made.
Cleaning up the rest of her mess in the main room. Grabbing her camera case she unzipped it placing her camera inside as well as her new film. Zipping it up she opened the door.
Closing it behind her he placed a strand of hair behind her ear. Her hair was now grown quite a bit, though still short it reached down to her shoulder blades the rest of the layers passed down over her ears and some of her bangs had to be clipped back. It was another clear sign that Jessie and Alice hadn't seen one another for a while. Out of uniform she wore a checkered skirt with a pink color top as well as a white tie. Wearing flats she turned to leave the club building her flats tapped on the titled floor.

Black boots tapped irregulary aganist polished floor, each second step falling quicker than the last. Alice paid little attention to minding her faulted steps as she wandered through the sleepy environment that was St. Lilum. Slender arms were crossed over her chest, pinning the swaying tie from the Miator uniform down. About her knees bounced the lace of the bell-shaped skirt of the one-piece uniform. A single braid meanwhile glistened in its proper place, looking unbalanced without its twin with each unsteady step.
It wasn't like the snowy widow to crawl into Lilum territory. This had been her first time on the Lilum campus, though this trek hadn't been for just nothing. No, she was looking for someone. A certain someone she hadn't seen in quite sometime. Jessie. Ever since that day; that event at the Himeno manor that had caused so much confliction; that name had been rattling in her snowy mind. She'd tried to forget it. Yes, for a brief period of time she'd endeavored to push that name from her mind. Going about her day as normal, practicing ballet and isolating herself in quiet places to just think like she almost always did. No prey had been captured over that period of time. Every one just slipped through her web. So immersed in her thoughts, she hadn't been watching it. And that was exactly what had resulted in the previously unnoticed sprain in her right ankle. A lack of concentration during a lone session of ballet practice. Too much thinking. Or maybe it was just a manifestation of confliction itself... Whatever it was, the snowy spider would have to deal with the temporary injury until it healed soon, or her inability to feel pain just worsened it a little. Maybe...the sought girl would be in the club wing?
The sound of flat shoes echoing on tile floor soon resonated to reach her ears. The widow under any normal circumstances would have ignored the sound as just a passing student, but currently searching, she allowed her frozen gaze to flicker up, only to frost over a girl. A girl with pink bangs clipped back and hair that brushed her shoulder blades. Wearing a skirt and a shirt with a tie. For once the spider's icy breath iced over in her throat. Was this...? Could it be? They hadn't seen each other in quite a while, so maybe it could. That camera case too...
"Jessie...?" The name fell quietly off emotionless, pale lips.

Pink locks of hair swept across her face , inbetween hair cuts sucked. Pink gaze fell upon iced ones. A young white haired girl stood, school uniform held to her body nicely. " Alice?"
Her voice was soft, and very unsure. Suddenly she felt naked, she had ventured to be a bit more girly as of late. Though with it being summer not many were around and so she felt at ease. Though now with those iced eyes looking at her she felt odd. Shy. Pink wrapped over her cheeks as she walked closer . What did this mean ? Why was Alice here? To end practice? To end there friendship?
Though as usual Jessie found hope lacing over her heart. Maybe they would at least go back to normal again, at this point it didn't matter to the tomboy clearing her throat she began to speak. " I missed you.."
It was spoken shyly, afraid of what would be said next though, she did find her standing closer then usual. As she stood there she let her camera case fall infront of her lap trying to cover up her bare skin. For other than those shorts she wore for bed at Alices , this was the most skin shed let the girl see, even the le rim skirt was a tad longer.

Her own name was echoed back with a tone of uncertainty. Alice...had kind of missed that voice, she would have to admit. Examining the girl, she watched the way Jessie approached her blushing; listened to the way she spoke and grazed her frosted gaze over the choice of outfit. A bit revealing with the skirt, but nonetheless a girlish style. As for the method of speech, it was shy. Nervous, perhaps? Or perhaps...afraid?
A statement of having missed the widow was stated next. Grabted, with another shy tone. Alice couldn't help but echo the same phrase. That was a truth that for some reason she didn't desire to mask right now.
"I...missed you too." She let out softly.
Now standing closer, icy eyes wandered once more up to the grown out pink hair. It was starting to collect some length. Jessie looked quite different with it. Pretty too. A cherry pink strand was loose and while she would have normally reached up to sweep it back into its proper place as a teasing, flirtatious gesture, Alice didn't even move. Would...that even be okay? She really didn't know anymore. So she reverted to just a verbal comment. "Ah, your hair. It looks nice."

Jessie looked at the girl face for a moment, Alice didn't seem her self , was she unsure of this meeting ? Jessie wondered but then a mirrored phrase was given. Which only made Jessie smile slightly. So the white widow missed her. Some how all feelings towards the girl came back in full. Though she paused to examine the white haired girl, she seemed as if her normal self, maybe a bit unsure but other then that...wait what was this a sprain? The swollen ankle was a bit red and for the albino girl that popped out.
Jessie hardly heard the complement. Eyes flashed up to Alices face . " Silly girl, have you not noticed .."
Bending down she touched the ankle softly , yes it was sprained . Looking up to the frosted eyes she spoke again. " we should get this taken care of.. I can run and get you some ice..you can sit in the club room. "

Alice blinked. Her confession to missing Jessie as well had earned a smile, but then she'd been called silly. Warm fingers soon touched her swollen ankle. Not being able to feel it, she completely forgot about it sometimes over the four days she had had it now. The only time she would remember it's presence is when she went to take a step. Had she been able to feel it, it would be exuding a crippling pain.
"You don't need to do that; it's alright." She offered with a habitual flick of an ivory hand.
Really, the widow had no idea how bad it was. Though either way, she didn't want to burden Jessie. She really had missed the girl. Not just her warmth, but even just her presence which had been starting to grow so familiar. And the snowy spider herself had been a factor that had caused this separation... She wondered if the bite had left a scar on Jessie's lips. Maybe, but icy eyes hadn't yet even looked to them.
Letting out a breath, Alice shifted her weight slightly to the sprained ankle, only to quickly realize her mistake and straighten before the whole limb gave away with it. She felt almost vulnerable with this common injury. Any spider would. But she had still trekked on it all the way to St. Lulim's grounds to see the pink haired girl. Somewhere in that frozen heart she'd missed the girl more than she'd let herself feel or admit. Though....why?

Standing she looked at Alice she truly hadn't noticed on top of that, she was denying help. Silly, girl. Jessie respected how Alice felt, but knowing that Alice danced such an injury left unattended could be harmful.
She watched as Alice tested the ankle but quickly moved her weight away from the injury. Jessie wondered what Alice was thinking, was it maybe she didn't want to burden the tomboy ? Or maybe she truly disliked feeling the need to be helped. Either way Jessie was not going to let Alice live with the pain. Even if the pain was unnoticed. Turning around she kneeled facing her back to Alice . " get on..."
The offer of a piggy back ride was offered. It was simple, but a firm caring offer. " I won't be able to practice with you if your hurt. Now would I?"

Frosted orbs watched as the boyish girl knelt in front of her with a simple command. Get on? What did she mean? Oh, wait, a piggyback ride. That was what was being offered. Alice hesitated for a moment. She'd never really done such a thing. She was sure she could still walk on her own - she had walked all the way here, granted, with a bit of a limp. But knowing Jessie, the boyish girl could be pretty persistent. Letting out another breath, the widow complied. "Alright."
As for the part about not being able to practice with the snowy spider hurt, an "I suppose" was offered. They hadn't practiced since that day. Would their flow still be the same as before? Probably not entirely. Well, at least as of currently, it probably wouldn't be. Not until everything was patched up again. But...what was "everything"? Jessie's confession and the spider's stalled response and bite? The widow had still never responded with an answer. Only with her fangs. And that hadn't resulted in anything of product. Just a long seperation. Though maybe in that situation, a seperation is what they had both needed to think about everything.
Alice unsteadily climbed onto the other's back, slinging her slender arms around her neck to hold on and doing the same with her legs around the girl's waist. She wasn't too concerned about being accidently dropped, but landing on that sprained ankle; even if she wouldn't be able to feel it; wasn't too good of an idea. Regarding physical contact, she had tensed slightly, too, but in this situation contact was unavoidable. Oh well.

Making sure to hold her tight she allowed her hands to grip Alices from behind. Lifting her up she walked, each movement made Alice only raise up her back, rather then slide down. Jessie had kept to working out even if there practice has stopped.
Soon she could feel something tapping on her head, what? Oh Alices braids that's right , her hair was long enough for them now, maybe shed ask later though. As the entered the club room she sat the smaller girl down , grabbing a cloth she got it damp and sat in the chair across from Alice. Carefully she lifted Alices ankle to lay on her lap. " sorry.."
She wasn't sure if Alice was alright with her touching her seeing as how they haven't spoken or danced for a while, but this needed to be tended to. Taking of the shoe she lay on the rag and she began to massage the ankle softly. " in the long run it will help...try to relax. "

The snowy spider relaxed her grip slightly when the other girl held tighter. Though she'd never quite done this before, it made her feel like a kid almost. Jessie's familiar warmth was making her a little sleepy, but she shook it off promptly.
Soon the club room was reached; the widow set down in a chair. Icy eyes watched as her injured ankle was next propped up to rest on the other's lap along with a rag to be massaged. This would really hurt had she been able to feel it. Since Alice couldn't, however, she could only feel the warmth of the other and the motion. The injured limb tensed at the contact for a slight moment. A suggestion to relax was offered.
"Alright." Rolled out softly.
Relax. Could she do that? Her mind was stirring into a snow flurry right now. Not quite yet a blizzard nor a suffocating whiteout. Allowing a frosted breath to fall from her lips, the tension ebbed away with it slightly. Her frosty gaze finally flickered up to study Jessie's face. Should she start a conversation? She wasn't too fond of speaking, but she didn't quite desire silence right now. Silence was the floodgate to thoughts....and the spider was tired of thinking for once at the moment. She pondered possible options. Attention shifted to the other's hair once again. Now that she thought about it, it was long enough to try a braid or two.
"With your hair that length now, it shouldn't be hard to fixate a braid in it." She commented, trying to make conversation. Had it really been that long since they had seen each other last? Looks like it had.

She was making sure her movements were soft and slow, she only did this to lesson the swelling. As she continued she head the others words, chuckling she looked up through pink locks. " could it ? I guess my bangs are getting pretty long...the rest is rather short though still, bit if you like that would be cool to learn."
Letting the small massage slow she looked fully at the girl. " how has things been for you Alice?"
Switching the rag over so the cooler side touched the skin she took a breath, attempting to clear her mind from the growing storm of thoughts she was beginning to have she spoke once more . " I am sorry about just leaving that one day it was rude, I hope you nor your family think less of me."

"Yes, that is, if you would like to learn."
It was said with a habitual flick of an ivory hand. She wondered how that would go should the offer be ever put into action. Iced orbs once again shifted up to meet the mixed pink gaze at the presence of a generic question. Things had been...conflicted with her. Too many thoughts. All that thinking had been the direct cause of the lead to this troublesome sprain. A lack of focus. But of course she couldn't say all that. "Things have been...okay for me."
She was about to mirror the question, but then an apology arose. For that day. It was a topic that was sure to blossom at some point during the conversation. Just like that day at the lake. Shifting a little, the snowy spider narrowed her frozen eyes -- not out of anger or irritation, but pure habit.
"You have nothing to apologize for. My actions were less than savory that day..." The monotonous voice stalled for a moment, halted by an icy breath. After Jessie had left; after that event and after she had bitten... Something had remained with the widow. Dull but poignant. A result from hurting the girl... Adding to the boyish girl's abuse, as it had been put. It had even remained there during the time after when the two had separated themselves for a while. Was it.... Could it have been what people called...pain? It wasn't likely, but still... The widow tried to shake her head of it. "I should be the one to apologize..."

So it seemed as though Alice not only took up the offer of teaching her to braid, but she had also seemed to be doing well. Though Jessie couldn't help but question this as the answer seemed a tad...off. Finally stopping the massage she placed Alices shoe back on . " That should help, but we really should have it get wrapped and you should stay off of it "
Jessie wondered how long the girl had been walking on it , Alice seemed to have been walking on it though knowing it was sprained. This only had Jessies though more complex. After all why would Alice walk to find her injured, and why was she really looking for her in the first place. Was it because of practice? Or maybe...ah yes she was getting a reply back for her apology. Not only that but she was getting a most sincere mirrored one back. " there no need-"
Shaking her head Jessie finally looked into the frosted eyes. " I pushed you, I should have .."

Frosted eyes observed as the massage ended and her shoe was slipped back on. A few words of advice were given next. Stay off of it? As a dancer that was hard. Even more so with someone that couldn't feel pain. You eventually forget about the injury being there, and because the pain isn't there to stop you when walking, it only evolved into worse of an injury most of the time. Or at least that usually happened in Alice's case. She gave a subtle nod to the words anyways.
Gazes finally met. Jessie had pushed her. Not quite a lot, but enough that it could qualify. But the snowy widow's reaction - the physical bite included in the initiated kiss... She'd hurt Jessie, yes. When one loved a spider, however, no matter how tame the arachnid, there was always the possibility of having to dodge the fangs or face them straight on pain and venom included. Though spiders only bit like that in times of distress or anger. Alice had felt none of that at that time. Yet she had bitten...and in the form of a test. Made Jessie bleed and upset her to test if she was truly willing to take any pain that might come as a result of a confession to the conflicted spider. That...hadn't been very right of her. Nor did it just fade away after the whole thing. For once she had regretted hurting someone.
"That may be true, but a spider truly only bites if irritated or in distress. Not in such a way my actions had guided... I apologize for hurting you... That was not right of me." The widow spoke genuinely though her tone was more of a quiet one.
The boyish girl had stuck through the pain in the end, she recalled. Then there was that one thing she had said: Her feelings for the widow couldn't change. Had...that bite changed anything? Maybe, but the spider brushed it from her flurrying mind, eyes trained on the other.

Letting her self listen to the apology she took note , Alice had hurt her. At the time Jessie did not mind the action, but it was the thought behind it. Yet now she could tell that the frosted spider felt bad for what she had done. Jessie nodded. " It is alright"
It was true it was alright, though it was under layers of ice Alice did care. Mentally sighing Jessie began to think. What did this mean now ? Would they speak of the confession, was that to big of a step to take right now? After all Alice and here just got to a respectable place again. The tomboy thought of leaving it there, maybe saying something about practice yet when she decided to speak a unconscious thought left her lips . " let..let me take you on a date, a real date...out for dinner, and dancing seeing as how we both do it so well...a real one, hand holding, candle lit dinner ..k-kissing."
It was her own way to open the door back to the idea of her confession. Yet a way to see if Alice felt at least a bit the same. Using the word date, a real date inquiries both parties to understand this could be more then just chatting with a friend. Though what will Alice say.
