A breath left the girl weather it was a breath of how the impact had left her breathless, or relief of the other was alright it was unclear. " Yes, but please forgive me, i should have been paying attention, this shouldn't have happened."
Her tone was laced with a softened anger, yet turned to no one but herself. She grunted as she finally was able to fully sit up. It may have came from some kind of pain , but no pain was as bad as pain that was given to her in the past, she did still feel it but compared to past pain it seemed numb. Jessie released she still held the petite girl before her, letting her hands glide across the fabric that held to the snowy white haired girl's waist. Jessie allowed the girl freedom of movement as she knelt feeling the wood below her hands she applied pressure.
This allowed her to be able to get up, eyes covered with pink feathered hair fell in front of her face dismay held to her lips she failed herself and endangered her new partner, holding a hand down for the other to take she spoke softly. " i am sorry..."
She waited her eyes through pink noticed it seemed the other was unharmed and took all this as just a simple mistake, well it seemed so. Jessie did note how she could over react, but if she were to be a performer once again, even in the simple form of helping another she couldn't allow such mistakes.

"There is no need for apologies, miss McKnight; mistakes such as this are to be expected."
Truthfully, falling off the stage was something she hadn't expected nor quite foreseen. But as it did reign under the category of mistakes, she guessed that it could be taken as something to be expected. Under normal circumstances, Alice would have promptly tore herself from the other girl's arms as a result of the physical contact, but here, she allowed that selfish urge to remain dormant until she was liberated for freedom of movement. That liberation came soon enough, after the brief feeling of the other girl's hands glide across her waist, to which she issued a quiet, bemused sound of her unconscious doing.
Like a spider in the grips of a predator, the snowy haired girl elegantly removed herself with half lethargic haste. Physical contact not of her doing, even if accidental, was something she had a bit of an aversion to. She'd have to get used to it one day, she surmised. But of course, that would be a mountain she'd have to climb, not a molehill.
Letting her icy gaze drift to the hand she was offered, she gradually extended her own and let her cold open palm slip into hers to be helped up. She didn't really need the help, but once again, she figured she'd indulge her just for now.
"These things happen." She continued monotonously, giving a flick of her free hand. "Mistakes cannot be predicted, nor foreseen or entirely prepared for, but with practice, they can be wadually greede-- gradually weeded out."
Of course a spoonerism had to imperfect her speech. Such was her occasional speech condition. She hoped the other hadn't noticed it, but it was hopelessly obvious. Ah, oh well.

Each movement was studied, could holding the other made her uncomfortable? Not allowing herself to dwell so not to bring her nervus to resurface she decided to let it go. She listened to the others soft words, reassuring that it was little to worry on she nodded , letting her smile return slightly. Moving her hand across her face moving the feathered bangs away from her eyes. " Would you like to continue or shall we take a moment, i brought something of a snack if you like sweets that is. "
She took a moment to think of how the uncaring sentences of the mistake was a new idea to jessie, she was surprised. Though as she thought of what the girl spoke she noticed the way her words became conflicted with one another, Jessie wondered, was she tired?
She made her way to the stage holding hands to the wood she lifted up, shirt rising to show skin forever indented from past pain. Standing on the stage she waited for a response grabbing a water bottle she took a drink allowing the cold liquid to drizzle down her throat. This helped calm her, giving her a moment to realize she wanted to go on, yes a brake that she offered would be fine, but she wanted to help Alice with her project.
Rubbing her hand across her now damp lips , she held the water to the iced eyed girl, just incase she was indeed tired " So what do you feel up to?"
She spoke seemingly out of breath , yet now grinning though this day had gone wrong, her mistakes were not in the care of the other, for once she was not being judged in failures. This felt nice.

When Alice glided gracefully to her feet, she brushed herself off and adjusted an additional few misbehaving threads of hair from her face. It seemed like a break was in order. Especially more so for her partner, since she had felt the probably painful effects of the fall. The snowy white spider watched her as she approached the stage. Blue orbs caught sight of exposed skin beneath the girl's shirt and mused over it for a second. A scar perhaps? She guessed the other's family situation or past hadn't been the most cheery nor quite functional. Though such was many a girl's tale at Astrea.
"We may rest for a minute." She answered.
A bottle of water was soon offered to her. She quietly declined the offer with a shake of her head, a snow flurry of hair mimicking her head's movement. For as much as she practiced a day, she had built up quite a supply of endurance.
"I believe a break--" she paused mid-speech to pull herself elegantly up onto the stage, "--is in proper order after that fall."
She herself didn't really need it, but she had to compensate for her partner now too. She had taken the hardest impact of the fall after all, whatever level of pain that had been. Her gaze drifted to the grinning other girl for a moment. Jessie seemed to be quite relieved that her mistakes hadn't been judged. Well, anyone would be really. Alice had to admit this Jessie McKnight was an interesting one.

Allowing the water to be passed over with a simple decline. Once the offer of the brake was accepted, she opened her bag, waves of fresh made cookies and other foods entered the air she set out a few things some from her lunch so that if Alice was not a sweet tooth she had options. Every container, and item that was held in was had an adorable look to it.
Sausage squids , rice balls, and apple slices that look like rabbits. The cookies were an assortment of shapes. It was clear she could cook. She lay the food out sitting down crossed legged as she looked up at alice the blue light still wondered over them, Alice was truly a mysterious figure, the light only intensified that. " Please, help yourself.. i do hope you don't mind , it seems like a lot , but i don't eat much of it i just love to cook."
She thought for a moment this brake could be an opportunity to better know the other. though, it would open a door to be asked questions as well. She couldnt worry, besides they only just met, most questions in this predicament were simple.

Alice watched the girl produce an assortment of foods and sweets from her bag. Handmade, they appeared, with time put into each one. So Jessie was fond of cooking? She had assumed quite a few girls at Astrear were fond of the activity. The spider herself didn't dwell in the creativity of the activity much - she was usually occupied by her dance practices or composing a melody on the piano or violin - but she could make a few things. Albeit, not as creative.
"Thank you kindly, miss McKnight." She offered with a bow of her head.
She wasn't too hungry, but decided to take a cookie anyways. Bringing the sweet shaped food to her pale lips, she nibbled on the edge of it, letting her white lashes fall like a feathery pale curtain over her eyes in a moment of rest. The beaming blue light above created a caterpillar-like shadow play across the fine lashes.
"Is that so?" She finally murmured about the girl's statement of loving to cook. The thin layer of lashes had fluttered up to reveal her blue orbs, yet they remained trained on the empty space in front of her rather than glide back over to the girl. There was a brief silence, then, "May I ask what school you belong to?"
Alice wasn't one to talk much on her own, but she figured an ounce of small talk was necessary. Especially if this was to be her dance partner.

She watched a cookie was taken placed against pale lips, and nibbled. She couldn't help as a amused smile came to her face, nibbling like a rabbit. She parted her lips to answer the others question but the response that came up even surprised her " Cute"
Was breathed out her cheeks sparked red clearing her voice she spoke up hoping the whispered word was unheard. " I love to do anything creative, i cook very well, i use to design dresses with my mother as well. Dance was always fun for me it was something my mother loved and so do i, but ... photo's are my pride and joy, i love to take hold of memories by capturing them. "
Her eyes drifted from the company to the food in her hand, a apple slice met her lips. She had said more than expected but it was all to cover her unexpected compliment, or flirt? She guessed her father's teachings stuck in some ways. She took a bite of the sweet juicy apple letting a little or the sweetness drip across the slit of her lips. She remembered there was yet another question to be answered, so onces the apple bite was gone she spoke. " I go to Le rim, yourself Ms Alice"
She further thought it was rude not to ask the others interests , besides she was curious , though like a cat she hoped she wasn't overdoing anything with all this talk. " what do you like to do, why dance?"

A slight twitch shuddered across the white spider's being at the single word that drifted from Jessie's lips. What was that? Cute? Her? Had Alice not been so composed, she would have broken into a hysteric laugh. She hadn't been labeled as such a word before; she often relayed that word so often to other girls she strung along that it sounded strange to her ears to hear it cast towards her. She brushed it away, pretending to have not noticed it. Still, if the boyish girl decided to take that any further verbally, she'd supply one of her own. A sort of exchange. She did have a skillful silver tongue in the art of flirting, after all.
She listened to Jessie explain her hobbies next. The word choice she used to describe the activities she had done with her mother seemed a little off. Alice decided perhaps something bad had happened. Perhaps...had--? That was certainly a possibility, though she didn't want to jump to conclusions right then and there. There would be time for that later.
"Quite a lovely assortment of activities." She commented, pausing to think for a moment about the portion involving photos. "Photography is quite freeing sentimentally."
Alice didn't preserve many memories. In fact, she rarely had any pictures herself. Just a few of her childhood and of various "important" dates and achievements framed by her family, but that was really it. She had no ones of sentiment because she hadn't allowed herself to make any. There was no reason too. Or at least that was what she currently thought. Sparing a glance at the girl, she watched her take a bite of an apple slice, severing her gaze once a question and an answer was echoed back at her.
"Miator. As for dance, it is its own form of art of sorts. Free and graceful and flowing... Unbinding ." Maybe that was a strange use of words - the last part, while still in a monotonous tone, sounding a bit dreamy - but she continued nonetheless, "Piano, chess, and violin occupy other activities."
She tried to keep her answers vague. That was just her nature until she opened up. If she opened up. Spiders were difficult to tame let alone succeed in getting close too. The real challenge was not to avoid the fangs, but to pick your way through the crisscrossing layers of sticky threads first like a field of ensnaring lasers in hopes you didn't get tangled in them first. For if a spider felt the vibration, no matter how subtle or gentle or compassionate, there was a chance they could abandon their infiltrated web for a new one.

A twitch was seen, which for now was the most un composed thing she had seen, though it was a little thing she still noted it. She listened to each activity Alice spoke of quite a list of classy activities. She thought it was amazing, she wondered if it would be rude to ask if a lesson or two would be alright. Yet the line of what she thought of photography gave her a smile but also made her remember to ask of something, but she waited a moment until the seemed to be done eating. " If it would be alright, i would love to take a few photos after some more practice, if that is alright"
After she asked her question she thought of the word unbinding, dance was her way to feel unbound as well, they seemed to have that in common. She looked at the other then spoke. " I guess if i thought of it photo's binds me to my past, yet, dancing is so freeing as you have said. I always find it odd, how a person can do so many activities yet some conflict with one another. Like violin and piano they are amazing skills, but they take a lot, practice is needed for any activity, but it takes a lot of emotions, and if you are not into what you play it is the shadow of its former tune. Yet.."
She took a moment to think of her words " Dancing takes practice, and it is full of emotions, but, unlike music...if you mess up.. it is okay, which i have come to the realization of today. Besides my mother taught me a dance don't need to be perfect, as long as your happy with it... i guess i forgot that."
Rubbing the back of head with a chuckle " i am sorry, i kinda got real serious right then and on our first meeting and everything"
She waited for the returning words, packing most of the food up leaving a small bag of cookies out she placed it next to Alice only giving a smile to let her know they were for her.

"That would be alright." Alice responded monotonously to the first suggestion. As if to expose her lack of experience with photos, she quietly added, "Though I'm not quite sure a phantom will show up in the resulting product."
The snowy widow listened to the girl as she spoke next, analyzing each word. She seemed to be passionate about what she was saying. It reflected in her non-static word choice. About dancing and the necessary amount of emotions that had to be fed into it. Alice wasn't too adept at letting these emotions flow freely, especially in the presence of others, but catch her alone performing a solo on the piano or violin or simply gliding around the stage in a lengthy, animated ballet number, and the snowy devil would transform momentarily into a snowy angel brimming with free-flowing emotions. Or at least brimming with the emotions she desired to show even when she was alone. She wasn't much of an expressive person.
An apology was supplied next which she dismissed with a slight wave of an ivory hand. "It's quite alright, miss McKnight. I believe the same." Her voice came off as almost tired. She didn't feel it herself, but it just kind of happened. In reality, her chest was kind of sore too, from the fall, but of course, because of her inability to feel pain, she couldn't feel it. And that wasn't always a good, safe thing. "People restrict as much as they unbind. While they liberate themselves, they can shackle themselves with activities of a similar yet ultimately different nature. Though, such is the way flife lo-- life flows ."
Another Spoonerism had corrupted her speech. She'd have to watch herself more. Watching the girl pack up the remainder of the food, her blue orbs flickered to the bag of cookies which had been placed beside her with a smile. Was she giving these to her? It seemed so. Sweeping them up in a graceful, slow hand, she eased herself to her feet to perform an elegant bow of gratitude, sweeping one arm over her chest and holding the other out from her side with the bag.
"Thank you once more, my dear." She let the last two words slip as a test of reaction once again. Coming up from her bow, she looked at the girl. Was it back to practice or perhaps were they still on their break?

The others movements where always graceful her speech was the same way.Alice had a few mishaps, as of late. Jessie had wondered if the girl was tired earlier yet she had swept it aside. Alice had agreed to a photo yet she also said something that slightly worried the boyish girl.
" even angels can be spotted in beautiful photos."
Twisting what the other had said she hoped it would make the other feel better about her self. Jessie had a hard time seeing the mysterious girl in front of her as a phantom, a snowy angel possibly. She tapped a finger to her chin, would the line be taken as a flirtatious remark, either way she spoke the truth, well at least to her it was the truth.
As Alice spoke she rose to her feet. Giving a thank you, for the cookies she guessed." do you wish to meet again tomorrow, I think we both need a rest, I can walk with you back to the dorms if you wish ?"
She was unsure if deciding on what they would do with out knowing how alice really felt was wrong or rude but Alice seemed hurt, even if she doesn't realize it. Thinking about it more Jessie would probably need a ice pack later.

A soft sound projected itself in a quiet stream from the spider's pale lips at the seemingly flirtatious response. Alice was no angel. Never was, and never could truly be. Her halo had corrupted and decayed into a nonexistent state far too long ago to be salvaged now. Any and all wings she had would be bound and most likely broken; adorned by glossy layers of battered black feathers. A fallen angel.
"Perhaps, that is, if they are still in possession of their halo." Nonetheless, she had brushed the remark aside for now. Spiders like her couldn't be angels, and she was perfectly fine with that. Or at least she had honestly convinced herself to be through her devilish streak of malicious heartbreaking and cruel manipulation. To many, her arachnid fangs and horns were pretty apparent. Yet this didn't really seem to be the case with this boyish girl.
A question was cast her way, and she regarded it with a lethargic, cat-like blink and a thoughtful tilt of her head. A jumble of white silken ribbons swayed with it. She really wouldn't like the company, and would have refused in a heartbeat. But after a moment of pondering over it, she concluded that they were going to the same place, or at least she assumed, and decided it might be more efficient to let her accompany her. She'd try to tolerate it for now if that so indeed occurred.
"That may be in proper efficiency, yes." She stated for the first part. Giving an unconscious sway of an arm, she proceeded to answer the second, "If you so desire to, you may."
The slightly out-of-character second answer felt almost like acid on her tongue. She'd left it open-ended for Jessie to dictate the final conclusion on as to give herself some reassurance in the character of the response. Shifting elegantly on poised leg, she awaited the girl's ultimate response.

An eye brow rose as she pondered over the snow white haired girl . The young dancer had in a way corrected Jessies thinking, of how the other could be an angel. The other girl had no reason in seeing her self as one, so what was it she saw her self as ? The devil came to mind but that is far from truth, after all Jessie had met the devil. The girl In front of her was far from it. When Jessie's question was heard a sight of which reminded her as a confused cat lay in the face before her. So she waited, taking her back and slipping the fabric over her shoulder. Finally the other spoke. She had agreed it seemed though the response of walking the other girl back to the dorms where unsettling to the white haired girl.
Jessie thought for a moment then spoke " well, why don't I at least get you to the pathway back. It will allow us to talk about our class schedules to find more times to practice ou-your dance. Besides the light for a photo is far better in natural light, even a ang- a spirit such as you. "
Jessie jumped off the stage and waited for a moment taking her camera from her bag setting the strap over her neck the lense sparkled in the blue tint of the light still left. She had always taken very good care of the one item that took care of her memories. She looked as Alice was invaded by the full light of blue, suddenly remembering a story her mother told her. The demon whom raised the angel,Who would really be the demon in this story, was jessies last thought as she looked back to her camara.

A decision had been settled on. One that still suggested company, but not quite long of a presence. Alice regarded it with a nod. She could work with that. Besides, it would give them an opportunity to discuss their schedules for appropriate times to schedule practices, after all.
Watching Jessie collect her bag and camera, Alice hopped off the stage herself, landing on her toes like a ballerina before letting her heels drop to contact the floor. It emitted a quiet click. She wondered what made the girl consider her an angel - she had since altered it to spirit. Was it perhaps her appearance? Maybe the small fraction of the colloquial side of her personality? Surely, she could corrupt that view in an instant, should she let herself act on her true nature. Just because a spider remained reserved in its web didn't mean it couldn't bare its fangs and bite at any moment.
"Shall we take our leave, miss McKnight?" She was indirectly checking to ensure Jessie had collected all her belongings and was ready to go. Remembering something, the snowy white spider shrugged the open jacket off her shoulders, catching it before it fell. Light footsteps clicked against the floor as she next approached the boyish girl who seemed to be focused on her camera. Soft, tinted shadows of the blue light slithered like graceful serpents through her snowy white hair when she moved. Offering the garment to her with a single pale hand, she added, "My humble gratitude for this once again, miss McKnight."

Focusing on the camera, light tap and glides of finger tips were getting it ready for its next memory, hearing a soft noise, pink eyes glanced up smiling slightly they met the feet of a dancer. Looking back to finish clicking on her camera.
Suddenly she heard the others voice she spoke up so not to be rude " Oh yes , sorry these old Cameras take a moment to get warmed up , but we can start on our way."
Jessie was about to lift her gaze and when she did a shy blush found it way . Cheeks light blossom pink she held to catch hold of the jacket. " th-thank you, I had actually forgotten about it, guess it looks better on you.. I mean I just .. Its just small on me and well um -"
Sighing she was unsure of why these things happened after all she had made it all this way with out an issue. Yet this girl presence always seemed to make her feel something, but what , she was mysterious Jessie guessed and she never heard the girl coming so maybe she was just placed off guard.Rubbing the back of her head she gripped the fabric of the jacket swinging it over her shoulder, though this action caused her to hit her camera causing it to go off with a blinding spark.
" ah , I am so sorry I -it just ... Ugh.. You have me in a twisted mess.."
Taking a breath she took a moment. She thought for a moment at what she had just said, it was embarrassing. Yet she had spoken the truth, though why so sudden did this girl have her words twisted sigh, she will have to wave it off as her fault in personality.
Oc , so first sorry about last reply I am using my phone for the last few reply's and idk what happened with the spacing. Also I like where this is going , as it is coming to an end I do hope you don't mind jessies inner thoughts of alice I am just playing around with how Jessie might think.
