PERSONALITY
IN THE FIELDS OF ASPHODEL (Ages 3-11)
She was a happy little girl. She loved her parents and they loved her very much. She always hung around her mother more than her father. However, her father showered her with gifts more than her mother. She rarely played with children her age, always inquiring to hang with the adults and sit around listening to their conversations. Her father would joke about her having an adult heart in the body of a child.
She was always a curious girl and wanted to find the solutions for various problems. She studied hard in school. She would sometimes play detective with her parents or grandparents. She was always a mother’s little helper. However, things changed when her mother suddenly left.
Her father deeply depressed her. He would always get drunk. Sometimes she would end up being hit when he was upset. But she would always forgive him. He was so heartbroken and scared of raising the kids by himself. Sasori took on the job of a mother and a housewife, cleaning up after everyone and making sure everyone was on schedule. Her father was a hopeless cause, always responding with drinking.
Her mother’s departure from the family made Sasori rethink herself about love and dreams. She wanted to be a detective, she always thought about her family first. She was always sacrificing. She is deeply independent and gets embarrassed when she asks for help. She wants to find the solution for herself, almost always. She wants to be the one that everyone goes to. She bottles up her emotions, only letting them out when she is alone. For that, she is deeply alone.
FROM THE FIELDS OF ASPHODEL (Age 12-First Year)
Able to attend St. Spica on scholarship money and some of her grandparents’ earnings, Sasori is careful when it comes to goofing off and receiving bad grades. She takes school seriously, but she loves fun at the same time and wishes to find something that interests her outside of school. She is adventurous and willing to try new things, but she knows her passions and must keep to them no matter what. She feels free from having to take care of her now deadbeat of a father and other responsibilities. All that she needs to take care of is her self and the school. However, she feels a great guilt leaving her many responsibilities and burdens on her grandparents’ shoulders.

ACADEMICS & EXTRACURRICULARS
What Sports/Activities is your character involved?
Track
Martial Arts
Is your character on the Student Council?
No way.
What does your character think of the Etoile Position as a whole?
So far, she only knows the basics of it from another student. Once she heard the words “school idol” she thought bad about it. It reminds her of her mother’s dream, a dream that led her mother leaving her and her father forever. A dream that made a family get torn apart. Why would a mother leave her family for some silly dream that only happens to a small percentage of people?
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday?
Right now she does not want to. It reminds her of her mother’s dream and reason for leaving the family. It reminds her of her mother tearing the family apart. Someone else is going to have to shower the “beauty” of the Etoile.
What does your character think of the current Etoiles?
(Maiko Suzumi & Kagami Hiruko)
She does not understand them at all for wanting the glory. The glory that will only last for some months and vanish. While they are brightly shining when they embrace, she feels the shining will vanish. Nothing good will last forever, and even if it did it’s under certain circumstances. She will say that each of the two are good role models and are an example to feuding between the schools. She is surprised that a sixth year can be the Cadette (Uke) Etoile, while her junior could be the Senior (Seme) Etoile. They seem nice and welcoming, so Sasori does not want to spread her cynicism about what she thinks of the idea of the Etoile.
What does your character think of the other schools?
It’s kind of like how Gryffindor and Slytherin competed for the Hogwarts House Cup in Harry Potter. She thinks it’s annoying, to be honest. Both schools are prestigious in their own right. It all really depends on the people she meets. She dares say, so far the people from Miator are more dignified and stuck-up as opposed to her fellow schoolmates. People from Spica tend to be overly ambitious and fun loving under certain circumstances. She admires the passion from Spica, while she thinks the passion from Miator is forced.
HISTORY
History:
Before Attending Astraea Hill-In the Fields of Asphodel
She was originally from happy, loving parents. Her father was upper middle class while her mother was originally from a poorer status. She fought tooth and nail to be where she was at that point, or rather, she made it seem that way. Truthfully, the girl’s mother was originally an idol told to go into hiding due to a scandal concerning who she picked as her lover. While this was not made known to the girl until later, the girl had always felt certain coldness about her mother. Her mother had a coldness that concentrated towards even her own daughter.
The days of true paradise were numbered in a sense. Sasori was happily playing detective around the house looking for clues and her family members were pretending to be potential suspects. One day that changed. Just before her sister’s birthday, Sasori came down the stairs in her usual detective gear only to find that her mother and father were having a huge argument. It escalated from hushed, quickened talking to shouting. Her younger sister started crying and soon she began to cry as well.
The shouting was all about her mother’s dreams going to waste. That she didn’t want to rot “here in this dump”. Her poor father was trying to make her stay. That it was possible having a family and also being a celebrity. But her mother cut him off with words that chilled the child to her very core. Words that was unfit for a housewife and mother to even speak in front of her husband and children. With that, she left. She had broken the family apart. Her children had embraced her as well as her loving husband, only to rip their hearts out and stomp on them like that. Why did she bother with them at all? Sasori was sure she would never be able to get the answer.
Her heartbroken father turned to drinking to try and fill the void that was now his heart. His children reminded him of his wretched wife. The divorce papers that were sent to him, knifed at his heart all the more. What a cold and selfish woman…
Sasori took up the part of housewife and mother. She had to grow up fast for her father and her sibling. She had to watch over them and take care of them. She had to make sure her father quit drinking enough around her little sister. She had to make sure her little sibling went to school.
She even dropped out of school and was tutored by her grandfather so she could stay with her father. Out of sympathy, her mother’s parents helped out as much as they could, schooling Sasori. Her father’s family helped out with freeing Sasori and paid for her entrance exam into Astraea Hill. They hoped with her schooling, she could get a job and make something of herself, because that is something that their son would have wanted. It was something her younger sister would have wanted, heck, she was going to follow her older sister’s footsteps and go to the school. It was the very thing that talked her into going.

SAMPLE POST
From the Fields of Asphodel & into the Fields of Elysian
She had made sure she had gotten to the campus quite early. Classes only begin at nine, which was quite a ways away. She had climbed a tree to overlook the school grounds. She sat there, feeling the crispness of the fall air prickling against her legs as she dangled them off the branch of the tree. All she could see was the still green grass of the fields within the school. The temperature was significantly going down with each day. It just happened to be the coldest during the mornings just like the early summer.
There were many trees all starting to change color. As the days go by, the trees would soon change into deep tones and the leaves would start to fall. Autumn was the girl’s favorite season. Many holidays from all around the world interested her greatly. Especially, the holiday called Halloween and Japan had started to catch onto the Western culture by giving out goodies shaped like Jack-O-Lanterns. Some bakeries would have various other goods shaped like ghosts and black cats. Some cakes would be decorated in the honor of Witch of the East’s death. That was what the witch was called, right?
She slipped down off the tree trunk and back onto the ground. Sure her shoes got scruffy and there were a few smudges of dirt, but that could be brushed off. Sasori was capable of removing the hardest of stains. She had to deal with many of her family’s laundry after all. The Spica student picked up her schoolbag and carried on down the pathway leading to the School for orientation. She was now not far from it.
She wondered what it would be like. Would she make friends? Could she possibly make friends? She had been away far too long from school to remember how to make friends. It should pose as difficult. What did girls her age like now? She was sure it was not dolls and what not. She shook her head. Bah… maybe make up. She was pretty sure it was not the stuff that old ladies wear. Perhaps the stuff those teens usually wear that does not cost a lot?
That kind of make up would be much too cheap for a school such as this, a school that houses mostly rich girls. Rich girls who would be talking about meeting with the person they would be betrothed to in a sad attempt to get the girls to fall in love with the men they were to marry. She recalled having someone like that as her father was of a pretty nice business till it was shut down. She was sure she would not have to meet the guy she was betrothed to.
Thinking of such things, the girl did not look where she was going and bumped into a black and green clad girl with wavy, teal hair. Both girls turned around and gaped at each other. Then, glared at one another before the teal hair turned her head.
“Watch where you’re going! Hmph!” and with that the Miator student marched down the pathway leading to the Miator school.
“You could have went around me,” the Spican responded before the student left. She stuck her tongue out in the direction of the girl. “Idiot!” Sasori continued, frowning. She marched off with a huff, hoping that the other passers by did not hear of the little skirmish.
It was most likely not so…
