What kind of clothes does you character wear when she's not in uniform?
Alessa generally doesn't have a particular style when it comes to her clothes. Shirts, jeans and hoodies are fine with her, but so are dresses, lace and frills. Hats, electronic gadgets and hair ornaments often adorn her person, though such articles are usually worn for practical purposes rather than as mere accessories. Alessa favors practicality and comfort as a rule, so casual outings would normally have her in clothes that are less showy and her more elaborate outfits would be saved for formal occasions.
What Clubs is you character involved in? None at the moment.
Is your character on the Student Council? Nope.
Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more:
Alessa is a spirited individual who places a great value in freedom. She is used to doing whatever she wants whenever she wants however she wants, and being denied that usually results in a very disgruntled young woman. Having said that, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to anyone that she finds it difficult to accept and yield to figures of authority, or rather, to those she feels undeserving of their power and status. She harbours a deep seated hatred towards such individuals, and would regard them with the utmost disrespect. This, coupled with her quick temper and sharp tongue, has made her out as somewhat of a troublemaker. Being labelled as a problem child is not something she is proud of, and while Alessa is not too prideful as to overlook her own faults, she doesn’t bother to rectify this misconception. It’s too much of a hassle in her opinion, and to be frank, she could care less about what others think of her. If people insist on believing only the worst of her, well then that’s just how it is.
Keeping that in mind, Alessa is not the easiest person to get along with. Quick to judge and even quicker to lash out, it is not a wonder that she rarely finds herself in the company of her peers. The last four years of her life she spent in relative solitude, her interactions with the world only several degrees above what could be considered as the minimum level. Friends are few and far between, and those she considers near and dear are fewer still. It is not that she is socially inept, as Alessa can be quite sociable when she wants to. In fact, she can be downright charming if she puts her mind to it. The root of the problem is that she often doesn’t want to. One would never catch this girl engaging in meaning small talk, and if ever she does decide to speak, it’s usually to voice out her opinions on topics she deems as important. However, despite her indifferent attitude, Alessa is a caring person at heart. Deep – deep – down, she holds affection for all of her friends, but distances herself out of fear. Immensely afraid of rejection – and loathing herself for it – the girl finds it difficult to open up and hides her insecurities behind sharp comments and scathing insults.
On the other hand, on the occasion that she does lower her guard, Alessa can be a very affectionate. It isn’t something she shares openly with the world, but in truth, the young woman is rather fond of physical contact. Public displays of affection definitely aren’t her cup of tea, but she wouldn’t be adverse to the idea curling up against another for a nice cuddle with those whom she’s close to. So long as she’s not in public, of course. Simply put, underneath all those layers of biting sarcasm and cold indifference, Alessa can be a loyal and dedicated companion towards the people who have earned her trust and respect.
What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole?
Honestly? She’s not entirely sure what she thinks of it. The Etolie and her partner are typically major representatives of the schools, but in her opinion the entire system is too much like a popularity contest for her to take it seriously. She has serious doubts as to whether they can actually do their appointed jobs properly, and so doesn’t hold a great amount of respect for the title.
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday? No, thanks.
What does your character think of Shizuka Myuzu and Chokone Manatsu, the current etoiles?
Shizuka and Cho both come off as extremely bright and optimistic individuals from Alessa’s point of view, and while she doesn’t have anything against the two them personally she can’t help but find them off-putting. But then again, energetic people tend to affect her as such. Since she’s not the type to keep up with the latest gossip, or the drama that’s been happening within campus, Alessa knows little else about the Etolies save for their surface personalities and the initial impression they left. Shizuka seems like the fairly reliable sort, and Cho (though Alessa would never admit it outloud) is someone she finds as just simply adorable.
What does your character think of the other schools?
Despite having a deep respect for its history, Alessa finds Miator as far too stifling for her tastes and is forever thankful for the fact that she’d managed to talk her parents out of enrolling her there. As for Spica, its athletic department had definitely caught her attention, but the intense rivalry between Spica and Miator didnt sit well with her and it was this that drove her towards neutral Lulim and its more relaxed atmosphere in the end.

History before Astraea Hill:
Nerio met Izumi in America, where he was working in a hospital. She was a patient of his whom, after recovering, managed to fall into a mutual arrangement with him. His parents were on his back asking him why he didn't have a nice girl. Her mother wanted grandchildren. They were both very successful adults with high-paying jobs. And, most of all, they didn't think the other looked half bad. It was an arrangement that suited both of them. So, they got together, and soon after their wedding Izumi found herself to be pregnant. They got what they weren't quite expecting, though, when the twins were born.
Three years later and their third and last child was born, a baby girl just like Izumi wanted. Alessa was her name, and she clung onto her elder brothers, Elia and Isaia, like white on rice. But despite their close bond with their younger sister, the two brothers grew a rivalry. Elia and Isaia were always fighting for their father's attention, competing for the best grades and the best scores at everything they did. Meanwhile, Alessa worked just fine behind the scenes. Alessa was driven too, but perhaps not quite so much in the way her brothers were. Family was much more important to her and she spent her time trying to hold her siblings together. A task that soon proved to be much easier said than done. It wasn't until he entered into middle school that she realized her efforts were in vain, but she refused to give up on them. Instead, she redoubled her efforts in playing the role of the family peacekeeper, all the while trying to juggle her other responsibilities as a student.
Like the twins, the moment she was of age Alessa’s parents had enrolled her into a reputable boarding school, the Rosevale Academy. Unlike her brothers, however, the young girl hadn’t enjoyed her experience at the private institute one bit. While all three siblings thrived in the school’s upper-class environment, the youngest of the Harper children also found it all to be incredibly trying. An inquisitive child at her core, Alessa had an interest in almost everything the school could offer, but she was also the type to get bored easily. As things were, she would put forth her best efforts into something at first, but the amount of effort that she puts in would slowly dwindle as time passed. Naturally, it didn’t sit well with her teachers when her studies were affected by this particular habit of hers, and of course it didn’t help any that Alessa would verbally lash back at them whenever they would bring it up. Her sharp tongue coupled with her incredible temper only made the situation worse.
Things continued in this pattern for a while and by the time she turned fourteen, the girl had managed to earn the reputation of being a rebellious student and a problematic child who no longer held an interest in her studies. Her grades went on a steady decline and attendance record had suffered greatly. Despite her behavior in school, Alessa still managed to maintain a good relationship with the members of her family. To them, she was still the adorable little girl they had always known and it was difficult for them to accept her situation at school. Eventually though, her parents decided to send her off to study in her mother’s homeland and attend one of the schools at Astraea Hill. It was their hope that a change of pace and scenery would somehow help their youngest child overcome whatever issues that were plaguing her.

Quietly, the young woman navigated her way through St. Lulim’s hallways. The afternoon session had ended a while ago and while most of the students have long since left the academic building, Alessa had not. In the light that she really had no reason to do so – to remain in school even after the last bell had rung – would have seemed strange to others. But Alessa was in one of her moods. The kind of which one would act on impulse merely because one could. And she was doing just that. She had not a destination in mind, not a task at hand, not a purpose, not anything. She was merely being. It was a unique sensation really; a kind of feeling that was akin to boredom and yet entirely different. It felt as if she desperately needed to find something, anything at all to occupy her time, and yet at the same time she didn’t want to. The predicament she faced was a puzzling one indeed. And this was one puzzle that she didn’t care to solve.
After walking down the empty corridor for what seemed like an eternity, Alessa found herself standing before a window overlooking the courtyard. Looking through the glass panes she had a nice, clear view of the grounds. What caught her attention however, wasn’t the white blanketed grass outside, the near barren trees, or the many students occupying the space. No, it was the sky that had her interest. The sky – that wide, vast plane – had been clear of clouds for the most of the morning and early afternoon. Now, it was shade darker. As if someone had painted over the bright sky in lovely shades of purples, greys and blues. The sight of it brought a small smile to Alessa’s lips, her previously blank expression transformed into one that was much livelier. The sky was still darkening and continued to do so until finally – finally – the rain began to fall. Such a beautiful sight it was.
Transfixed with the scenery before her, Alessa propped her elbows upon the window sill, paying no heed to the warmth that left her, and leaned her forehead against the cool glass, closing her eyes as she took comfort in the rhythmic pitter-pattering sound of the rain. Alessa had always been fond of the rain, but afternoon showers were her favorite. It was just so much easier to relax when the weather was like this, and the young woman soon found herself getting drowsy. The hallway was hardly a proper place for a nap, but at this point the fifteen year old couldn’t bring herself to care.
