Name: Fuuko Takeda (Ai Ichigo)
School Attending: Lulim/ Le Rim
Age/ Year in School:
16/Fourth Year (Held back)
~ Appearance ~
Hair Color: Fuuko's natural hair color is black. Unfortunately for those that enforce the rules, though, she dyes bits of her hair in no fewer than three additional colors- including a vibrant purple, a sky blue, and a snowy white.
Hairstyle: Fuuko's hair typically goes every which way, suggesting that she doesn't bother doing much to it- this is entirely false, as she works very hard to give it that look. It may also be worth noting that the “horns” on her head are composed of small props with large amounts of hair tied fixed around them.
Eye Color: Normally, Fuuko's eyes are a dull purple. She almost always wears contacts that convert them to a vibrant violet, however.
Height: 5'2
What kind of clothes does you character wear when she's not in uniform? Outside of Lulim's uniform? Other uniforms, typically tattered in some way to give her a risque image. Other than that, she can wear just about anything- minus all out dresses.
What Clubs is you character involved in?
Cosplay/Sewing/Costume Club: Yes
Arts and Crafts: Yes
Host Club: Yes
Is your character on the Student Council? Nope. That's not even possible.
Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more:
Fuuko is a simple person. She enjoys fun things. She likes making noise, especially with her friends. She enjoys making other people make noise, as well. She's a very social creature, and she strives to make herself as noticeable and eye-catching as possible to accomplish this end. That's part of the reason for her fashion sense. She can be loud, and if her appearance is loud as well, then all the better, right? She enjoys causing trouble, but she's not necessarily a bad person. Really and truly, despite her tendency to create trouble and tease people, she's got a huge heart.
She's steadfastly loyal and would gladly get into a fight- losing or not- for her friends. While she likes to tease people, she typically dislikes bullies and will gladly cause some mischief to screw them over. That said, she doesn't play nice, either, even if there's no punching or kicking going on. She's a good gossip. She has no qualms with starting rumors- and she's really good about starting them without making herself the official source.
That said, she's a little bit of a sadist when it comes to getting people back. She's not the sort to give what was done to her in perfect balance. More like, the damage inflicted? She multiplies it- typically by ten or more. If it's done to her friends, though? Add another digit. Richter Scale of pain, my friends. And, at the very least, she's good at taking- physically or emotionally- so it's not like she's some whimpering flower over in the corner, either. She can take it or dish it, and she's not shy of either.
What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole? Popularity contests meets super duper high school student presidents? Sounds like a lot of work and a lot of potential for amazing abuse.
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday? It would be interesting, sure. It'd probably be boring after a while, though, if it was just some random girl at Astraea. If it were one of her bandgirls, though. . . they'd liven things up quite a bit.
What does your character think of Shizuka Myuzu and Chokone Manatsu, the current etoiles? Chokone reminds her of the smaller fans she'd always tease after a gig- or poke with the broad end of her bass. They always made the most amusing squeaks or squeals. It'd be really bad if she enjoyed it too much. Shizuka? . . . probably would stop her from doing said teasing to Chokone. So she wouldn't like her too much.
What does your character think of the other schools? Miator's girls look like little dolls that probably have squeak-buttons hidden somewhere under those huge dresses. Spica girls? . . . their skirts might be problematic to flip due to the make. That's bothersome. Other than that, she has little interest in either.
~History~
Please write in 100 words or more your character's history before she came to Lulim.
History before Astraea Hill:
Fuuko is the only child of a happily married couple. As a child, she very much enjoyed watching performances and listening to music. As pop became the norm on the airwaves, so too did it become her main interest. And when she met girls in elementary that all had the same interests, they decided it'd be the greatest idea ever to get together and make a music club. This evolved into a Light Music club, which proved to be the foundation of the indie girlband, “Wings to Freedom”. The name was decided on a whim, and by the time that anybody thought to change it, they'd already debuted. Just like their stagenames- Fuuko's was Scarlet Starlight.
Normally, girls at the age of twelve wouldn't have their own band and actually get performances. That's true. But these were indie, underground performances, and they did have connections. Their fame was small and local, but it was fame indeed. Fuuko was the bassist and one of the singers. Of the rest, there was the drummer, the keyboarder and song-writer, as well as the guitarist and second singer. Fuuko had taken up the punkiest look of the group, though each of them had their own endearing bit of “punk” fashion.
For the most part, her parents practiced a hands-off parenting with her. She kept her grades up, didn't get into too much trouble, and seemed to be having fun. Why disrupt that? The four went to the same school, maintained their club, and things were looking good- they planned to get serious after high school, get into the real limelight. But as they prepared to graduate middle school, things hit a small bump. It was a night like any other gig. Fuuko and the others were still soaring on the high that came along with performing in front of others. The keyboarder excused herself for a bit- nothing surprising, since they all often did their thing after a performance. Bathroom, drinks, snacks, relaxing, something. It was normal.
What was not normal was her not reappearing after a few minutes. Typically, within fifteen minutes of a gig, they all got back together, exchanged plans, spoke in general, and plotted out their next big deal. Yet she wasn't back. Fuuko stepped out, following the trail she knew the keyboarder had taken, and witnessed something that sickened her to the core. Y'see, the keyboarder was from a really prim and proper family with plenty of business ties, so she was engaged as a part of a business agreement. Marriage without love was one thing, but to a total scumbag was another. And when Fuuko saw him abusing her, she snapped.
She did not call for help.
She did not shout and warn him to back off.
She found a steel pipe, calmly walked up to him while he was distracted, and promptly began beating him with said pipe. By the time she was done, the young man was quivering in pain on the ground. Three fingers, the bone in his hand, his wrist, ulna, and two ribs, all on his right side, were broken. Naturally, this led to legal action. But a number of technicalities, as well as ties that the girls' families had got Fuuko off scot-free. But, even so, the fact still stood that she beat the hell out of him with a steel pipe. That was violent. And her parents decided it was a good idea to try to cut her away from “bad influences”. The resulting shifts caused the girl to be held back a year as her parents fumbled over what to do with her. Deciding a place far away was best, they shoveled her over towards Astraea Hill, figuring that they establishment would clean her up and straighten her act.
. . . all it did was get in the way of the band's performances and meetings, really. But that was enough to strike a blow at Fuuko.

Fuuko plucked at the strings on her bass listlessly. The girl was had propped her legs up on the table, sitting more like a lop-sided “V” in her chair at the garden than a proper girl or person. Some lucky girl was probably getting a pantyshot, not that the host could care. Some of the girls had poked and asked her to play something. The requests always made the bassist smile ever so slightly, but she refused them every time. When she practiced, it was by herself or with her bandmates. When she played, though, it was ultimately with her bandmates. Going “solo” never occurred to her, and neither did jumping in with some band at the three schools. Something like that was no different from betraying her own “Wings to Freedom”.
“No, no, girls. Y'gotta calm down. I won't be playing this seriously for a while. I just feel better with it here. Besides, a few of you like jus' starin' at me while I'm holding it, anyway, right?” She joined the Host Club on a whim. Her means of killing some excess time and blotting out depression over being separated from her girls. Cellphones and email allowed for communication, sure, but it wasn't the same. More than that, they wouldn't be graduating at the same time anymore. She didn't regret her actions, but it was still annoying.
A few more tugs resounded clearly from the bass. She didn't expect to be widely adored, but she did have her own little clique of fans that were drawn by her style and personality. It was cute. Gave her some fuel to play with. She didn't know if she was disappointing or not, though. But she really had no intentions of playing if it wasn't with her friends. Practicing old songs, in private, was okay, but not here, not with witnesses.
