What kind of clothes does you character wear when she's not in uniform?
She wears a wide assortment of clothing, though it's becoming increasingly common for her to wear cosplay outfits, or at least part thereof, within her normal day-to-day clothes. However, Aoi also dons traditional sporting wear for more energetic activities, as well as more plain, modern clothing should the situation require it.

Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more:
Aoi is, simply put, an energetic tomboy; despite her medical condition, she remains highly active, albeit, predominantly indoors as to avoid dermal issues. Highly competitive when playing, and rather strong physically, she doesn't hold back and can even be a little reckless at times, though it's just apart of her nature. She has no problem with getting her hands dirty, figuratively or literally, very much enjoying a hands-on approach to life.
However, this aptitude has not extended to her academic pursuits; she doesn't struggle so much in understanding the concepts as she does with recalling specific details on the spot; during tests she does not cope well and quite often has to get outside help to study for them, including from her adopted little sister who got all the book smarts, or so Aoi insists, despite their not being blood-related. She can talk about things at a relaxed pace, but because of her inability to properly function on an academic level within tests, she has already been held back a year and has to work rather hard to keep up and not be held back again.
Combined with her physical inclination, among other things, Aoi's development in the common sense area is a tad lacking; she is sometimes the bumbling but well-meaning fool in social circumstances. Outside of that, she's an outgoing, and perhaps even a little abrasive person. Contrastingly however, she's incredibly cuddly, affectionate, protective and even a little possessive when it comes to her adopted little sister, Darla. Perhaps somewhat out of guilt, as well as a deeper curiosity and then a quickly developing attachment, but nonetheless, she very much loves her, even more so when Darla gifted her with the most adorable and realistic stuffed animals.
What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole?
In some ways it intrigues her; digging away the political aspects and the whole ordeal of it being more or less a popularity contest, there seems to be a root of connection between the pair, or so it was when the position was originally formed. That being said, Aoi dislikes politics and head games for the most part, as she tends to miss all the little subtleties and nuances and prefers a much more heads-on approach. Why stab someone in the back when you could just strike cleanly at them in a more honourable, if albeit frenzied, way?
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday?
Most likely not, and the only person she'd even consider at present would be her sister...and that was still unlikely. Plus a position of popularity and responsibility would mean more exposure outside - a no-go for Aoi.
What does your character think of Shizuka Myuzu and Chokone Manatsu, the current etoiles? (Please answer this question even if she does not know who they are.)
Shizuka strikes her as being a guardian of sorts, and Chokone as the polar opposite; the attraction between them seems awfully strong. She respects and perhaps even admires that a little, but she does not really know much about them beyond their public figure, which has been surprisingly devoid of drama, given what she's heard about previous Etoile.
What does your character think of the other schools?
Rivalry between the schools gives her a nice, energetic outlet, especially since Spica housed a majority of the more active, sporty type. This means she has plenty of opportunity to be active and go all-out when practising sports against them. Lulim only strikes her attention because they have so many interesting club activities, and her cosplay and anime hobbies would likely fit in much better amongst them. All in all, despite any rivalry, the schools are still just schools on the same campus; competition is just a convenient outlet and starting point for practice.
~History~
Please write in 100 words or more your character's history before she came to Miator:
History before Astraea Hill:
First born child to a relatively happy, home-bound Japanese couple, Aoi's medical condition became apparent very early on, due to the characteristic white hair and pink irises. Albinism was still manageable though, and the couple brought her up carefully. Despite her condition, she was rather active and full of energy, and in order to appease her without aggravating obvious dangers to her skin, Aoi's parents tried to instil a healthy outlet in the form of martial arts. Taking to it keenly, Aoi became strong, if not a little overly energetic.
And she also had someone of her own to worry about; her budding little sister, only two years younger than her - Takemi Tsuriya. Fortunately not also suffering from albinism, her darling little sister became another outlet, except this time for affection. They grew quite close, even if they did have their sibling quarrels at time.
Schooling was a tad awkward at first; her condition of course ostracised her, and given her tendency towards more physical applications, Aoi failed to develop properly within the social field, though she did her best and managed to get by. On the other hand, her school scores were barely scraping through, but some egging from Takemi helped her study just enough to make it, at least for a couple years.
Only a few months after the younger's tenth birthday did something finally break the more or less happy shelter of Aoi's family. The fourth car in a five care pile-up left plenty of room for damage, and the good fortune that Takemi had previously experienced had apparently dried up - during the pile up their car began to slide and turn, and the final car slammed head-on into the seat behind the driver, where Takemi was originally sleeping peacefully. Whilst the rest of them escaped with what turned out to be fairly minor injuries, and a few more serious gashes to Aoi's father (whom had been driving), Takemi had no chance at all. Crushed by the metal bending inwards and ultimately bleeding to death from several nasty protrusions, in one horrible, fleeting instant, Aoi watched her adorable little sister die, covered in spatters of her very blood.
Even after recovering from the physical injuries, and grief counselling, she still felt as if she'd failed to protect Takemi, failed to cherish her enough, to cuddle and love her and never let anything happen to her. Rationally she knew she wasn't at fault, but that didn't stop the feeling in the pit of her stomach. A feeling that distracted her even when she eventually returned to school, and consequently she failed to scrape by this time. Having to repeat the year, Aoi was also subject to further counselling and tutoring, so that she would return to a state of mind that would allow her to cope.
Her parents were struggling too; they'd already lost a daughter and now their other child was suffering immensely. The loss of Takemi struck them all hard, and for quite a while, they did what they could to get by.
With the constant tutoring and counselling, Aoi passed her second go around of her second year, and even began to settle back into a more normal life. Her interest in martial arts intensified, and she also took to anime in particular as another hobby to keep her mind off of things, to the point that she began venturing into the world of cosplay. It offered a lot of potential, especially since events would still take place inside, and she could dress in such a way that she became someone else altogether. To further this, she worked to improve her creative skills, particularly sewing, so that she could make her own and save on money as well has have something else to do with her hands.
Of course, with all these distractions, she still struggled at school but was back to getting by, if only barely. Not that that was great, but it was something at least. And given that she was recovering on an emotional level, the household seemed calmer, safer.
So when they got a call from a friend in the force about a young girl in need, the Tsuriya family readily accepted. For Aoi alone, there was still somewhat of a void in her life, and having a younger sister again would perhaps help heal the scar left behind. And this time, she would be sure to stick close, to cuddle and love her sister, and care for her ardently.
Which is why she begged to be enrolled alongside her new sister when it came to that time, as they were, ironically, going to be in the same year anyway. They could even share a dorm this way, and keep an eye on the girl as it was painfully obvious that she had destructive tendencies. So now Aoi would be living and going to school with her new little sister, Darla.

Oh dear it was awfully open here. She'd have to stick closely to hallways most of the time then. Oh well, just a tiny thing to keep in mind - it wasn't as if she were going to back out of this decision. Not when it concerned her (adopted) little sister. Nope, she had to keep an eye on her Darla and make sure she didn't try anything dangerous again. That, and she couldn't help but cuddle and lavish the brunette with sisterly affection. That did have something to do with it as well.
Letting her mental rambling subside, Aoi brushed the few strands of silvery-white hair from her bangs that had fallen over her crimson eyes, hauling with her her clothes, which were the last of the things she had to bring with her to her new dorm - their new dorm. She'd be sharing the same room as Darla after all.
Practically skipping along a sheltered path (as she was deliberately avoiding the sun for the time being), the new Miatorian made her way to her dorm, already thinking about what she would do first - start designing a new outfit, or check out the clubs? She also needed to work out about practising martial arts, and soon. Or else she'd go nuts within a day with pent-up energy - that much she knew.
"Ooooh, I better hurry and go check on Darla..."
