Name
Francesca Ryans (Ai Ichigo)
School Attending
Lulim/ Le Rim
Age/ Year in School:
17/Sixth Year
~ Appearance ~
Hair: Francesca's hair is long, anyone can tell you that. She hasn't cut it in sixteen years. Of course, she trims it to keep it healthy but her hair almost never comes above her shoulders. Most of the time it's down to her ankles or even brushes against the ground if she doesn't pull it up. Her hair is naturally a blue-black color but after she dyed it her hair is pure black. Before she came to Lulim she had half of her head shaved to be edgy but she let it grow out and now it's even again
Face: Black, grey, blue; Frankie's eyes change shades according to the light and what she's wearing. Most of the time it's black though so that's probably her real eye color. Definitely the most shocking of her features is the greenish-grey tint in Frankie's skin and her two sharp canine teeth. Coupled with the two bite marks on the side of he neck most get the idea of what she was going for. Francesca loves the idea of being a vampire and plays it up pretty well though the pointed ears throw most off. No one knows exactly what Frankie looks like and she never plans to reveal it.
Body: If it wasn't her looks or clothes that scared people away it was her height. Frankie is quite a tall girl at five foot ten. Her parents aren't short either so she expects to grow an inch or two. Her figure is both feminine and strong at the same time. Her curves are evident and her chest is big enough to be obvious but she easily pulls off a masculine look with her athletic build. Almost all of her height comes from her legs which most call sky-high.
What kind of clothes does you character wear when she's not in uniform?
Outside of school Frankie can't dress as like herself as she'd like because most of her favorite clothes were thrown out. Most of her clothes consisted of black tutu's, off-the-shoulder sweaters, short dresses, bat earrings and necklaces and a lot of black skinny jeans. After her parents raided her closet her style got a lot less dark. Frankie tries to keep the sexy factor though with crop tops and high-waisted short-shorts. Most of her jeans are ripped and plaid shirts are the bomb now. It's a lot more relaxed and tomboyish but she tries to wear a dress every once in a while.
What Clubs is you character involved in?
Cosplay/Sewing/Costume Club: Yes
Cooking Club: No
Arts and Crafts: No
Book Club: No
Theater Club: Yes
Computer Club: Yes
Manga/Anime Club: No
Is your character on the Student Council?
Yes, she is. Frankie considers herself the connection between the students and the council since she enjoys talking to people so much. She wants the students to be heard.
If yes, what does your character think of the student council president, Naomi Shizuoka?
They aren't close but from what she's observed she's fit to be president. Naomi is a cool-headed individual who seems pretty mature for her age though her promiscuous nature is slightly irritating. Frankie can't say she'd do a better job
Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more:
Francesca's dream is to be a vampire; a beautiful, all-powerful vampire but as much as she looks the part she definitely doesn't act the part. Vampires are supposed to be cool and cold-hearted but Frankie couldn't be more different. The giant smile on her face and her arms opened wide in welcome come to a surprise to most.
This dark-haired beauty is one the kindest people you will ever meet; she'd jump in front of a train for a total stranger if need it be. She tries to be fair in how she treats everyone but does tend to take things to heart. Insults are like a stabs and even the tiniest of flattery can send her heart aflutter. As long as you are nice to her, Frankie plans to be nice to you. However she does know when the line has been crossed and she will not hesitate to shut you down if you are being mean and hurtful to her and anyone else. That doesn't mean she doesn't do her fair share of poking fun, of course never mean-spirited.
Everything is a joke to her though. It's hard to get her to take anything or anyone seriously. It takes her a minute to realize you are actually telling her something important and maybe even then she won't believe you. Frankie's gotten quite used to being lied to and she just has trouble trusting people's words. Actions speak louder anyway so maybe shed a tear while you say it, or blush a little when you confess. That will make it believable.
Very easily bored, Frankie has found ways to entertain herself when she has nothing to do. Frankie is very fond of teasing people. It's funny to her to see someone blush and get mad. Try not to take anything she says to heart though since she definitely doesn't mean any harm. It can even be taken as a sign of affection of all things if you'd like. If she does upset you be prepared to see the more motherly side of Francesca. A bit of a worry-wart if she sees a single sign of sadness and it's her fault Frankie will go out to make things better. You want ice-cream, she'll get you ice-cream; you want the moon, she'll try to get the moon. Having the guilt of making someone cry over her head is unbearable.
It goes along with being a people-pleaser. Francesca adores people and is open to meeting and befriending just about anyone. If you have a beating heart and a brain Frankie will try to get on your good side. Enemies just isn't her thing but you can't get along with everyone right. Her mentality is quite naive as she does try to see the best in people and ignore the worst. She's a very patient person and is very slow to lose her temper. Her buttons are very hard to find and even harder to push.
If there is one thing that means the world to Frankie, it's music. She dabbles in only three instruments though excluding her voice; bass, drums and piano. She's better in the first and last but with enough practice and play a piece on the guitar with ease. Frankie loves to sing but she doesn't exactly enjoy the spotlight. Her range is quite wide but she can't go as high as she would like. Most people say she sounds like Ritsuka.
What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole?
In all honestly, Frankie doesn't get it. She finds the idea quite funny really, it's more of a popularity contest in her eyes. Everyone who does it is in it for the publicity. If you really loved that person why do you need to proclaim it to the world and get famous of it. It seems selfish in a way to her. All love is equal so why should one couple's love be considered better than another's.
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday?
Not really but if the person she loved really, really wanted to she'd do it for them.
What does your character think of Shizuka Myūzu and Chokone Manatsu, the current etoiles?
Cho is the cutest thing in the world and Frankie considers Shizuka lucky to have her. The couple is cute and all but she still doesn't like the fact that they are etoiles. It kind of taints the pure love that Frankie believes they share. Francesca is assuming that Cho liked the idea and got Shizuka into it. It would be hard to resist the adorable girl.
What does your character think of the other schools?
Frankie loves the Miator uniform and is begging her parents to let her transfer. Everything about that school just seems so cool to her. Spica is okay in her eyes but she's just not the sporty-type. Frankie is the type of girl who would whine about getting the remote of the coffee table, try getting her to do a jumping jack.
~History~
History before Astraea Hill:
Francesca's life was pretty normal. Nothing big or scary ever happened that made her snap or what not. Of course, people die like grandparents and she misses them dearly but she knows or well likes to think they're happy now. Frankie had a cat named Tom and a dog called Jerry; not making fun. Her parents were typical and rather boring to most people. They didn't really want anymore children after Frankie and that's because once she hit her teens things went south rather quickly.
Every teen has their teenage rebellion, it's expected. Frankie became a punk; she gave herself a boyish nickname, shaved her head, pierced a majority of her face and her wardrobe took a u-turn. Her parents called it a phase for the first few years but Frankie never flipped back. She never changed but her appearance just wasn't acceptable to them. Once they came to the realization that she was going to stay that way her parents took drastic measures.
Frankie or rather Francesca refers to the day as the Raid. Her parents barged into her room and charged into her closet. Tearing everything off their hangers and tossing them into bags. Anything they didn't like vanished and was burned. They forced her to take out the rings and gauges and bought her new clothes. She had little input in what happened but her parents were only trying to do what they thought was best. After everything was gone and finished it was time to make sure this change didn't happen again. Her aunt living in Japan spoke to them about a 'feminine boarding school' that would suit Frankie's needs. It didn't take them long to ship her off.

A loose strand of jet black hair curled itself around her long grey finger as she absentmindedly nibbled on the ends of the badly cut tips. Her eyes squinted at the pieces of hair, surveying the work of the horrible stylist her parents sent her to. Frankie's button nose crinkled up at the mere memory. They wanted to cut her hair all the way to her shoulders and nearly gave the teen a heart attack in the process. The chopped up strand that she had started with was hidden under layers of hair while the rest of her horribly trimmed hair was exposed to the world. It could be worst, they could have shaved it all off. Goosebumps dotted her arms as a cold shiver ran down her spine. Nope, never getting her hair cut again.
With her back pressed against the probably bug-infested cushions of the old taxi, Frankie inhaled the smell of stale coffee and smelly old guy. Her black ballerinas were still pressed up against the glass window despite the driver's insistence to get 'her dirty punk feet off his door'. If only he had asked nicely she might have actually listened. "Yo Mister?" Frankie had planned on getting his name up until he called her pretty painted feet dirty. "Are we there yet?" It didn't surprise her much that she didn't get an answer but it did surprise her when the car jerked to a stop and she ended up rolling off the seats and onto the dirt-encrusted floor.
Frankie dug her teeth into her bottom lip as she watched, with wide eyes, a spider crawl its way towards her face. Stifling a cry, Frankie slowly inched her way backwards but it kept getting closer and closer. Never taking her table plates for eyes off the multi-legged arachnid the dark-haired girl scrambled to find the handle to the door. Her eyes flicked up towards the sky in happiness as she felt the divine all-mighty handle of wonderfulness brush against her palm. When she looked back down the bug was gone and Frankie knew she was in trouble.
Not even bothering to hold in her screech Frankie yanked the door supporting her weight open and face planted into the stone below. "We're there." Her head lifted up slowly to give the smirking driver a glare before dropping back down to the ground in a pained groan. "Thanks for nothing," she grumbled into the stoned pavement. Best day ever.___________________________________
