It didn't take Mitsuru long to find her dorm with Ryoko's help; the school really was marvelous with it's large windows and plush, carpeted floors. Once they'd found her dorm, Mitsuru began to rush to unpack, since there seemed to be much more of the school to explore. As soon as she'd managed to put sheets on the bed and cover it up with a large blanket, featuring the Baron from The Cat Returns, she offered it to Ryoko. "Here, I'll try and be as quick as I can, but you can sit down in the mean time."
"So, is there a theatre club here that you perform with here?" Mitsuru asked as she worked on shaking out her clothes and putting them on hangers to go in the closet

"There's a lot of clubs here. I haven't joined one yet, but that's just because I'm not sure what to do." Ryoko smiled, as she came in and sat down, she began to think again of the idea she had earlier. A stage painted by Mitsu coupled with her own singing and some skilled actresses. She wasn't sure what kind of show they could put on, but it was definitely possible.
"I'm not sure what I want to do yet. Miator is fun and all, but we don't really... DO much competition. It's all stuffy and school-ish. I love it there, but I could always use some adventure outside the school."
Her eyes wandered to outside the window, where she soon found herself spacing out again. There was a lot of wind today, and the trees shook so delicately in it that it made her stop and stare.

"We should look into joining some together! It could be fun, since I'm sure you're good at lots of things," Mitsuru turned, smiling brightly at Ryoko for a moment before returning to her clothes. She finished in another few minutes, allowing her to move on to a few things for her desk. School books went up first, then a picture of her family; after, she tucked the bag with her toiletries into a desk drawer and set a make up mirror towards the back of the desk.
One suitcase finished, she slid it under the bed before taking care of the other, smaller one. This one was full of a few things that she didn't need, but the things she wanted to have and the ones that would make her feel at home. Her flute, still in its case, was tucked along with the collapsible music stand and a folder full of sheet music next to her bed; an old stuffed Kappa plushie went next to her pillow; and lastly, her drawing materials were organized nicely on her desk: a box of colored pencils, a full set of drawing pencils of varying degrees of hardness, copic markers, and inking pens all went neatly around a large drawing notebook. For the final touch, she took out a specially sealed folder and a bit of sticky tac; inside the folder were her most prized possessions.
Carefully undoing the wrapping, she took out four small drawings, each a little larger than a post card. They were done in pencil, all black and white, shaded with crosshatching and painstaking attention to detail: Each was a picture of a city. The first was the Ximending shopping district in Taipei, Taiwan; the second a picture of Big Ben in London, England; the third the Capitol Building in Washington DC, America; and the last a picture of the Louvre in Paris, France. These treasures were lined up side by side on the back of her desk so that she would see them whenever she sat down, as a reminder of all of the past places she'd lived. They also represented countless hours of work on her part to get every detail as perfectly as she could, so that even though she'd probably never see the sights again, they'd be immortalized in her memory.
She lost herself in thought for a moment, staring at them before she realized what she was supposed to be doing. "Oh, sorry Ryoko! I guess I just went off in my head there for a minute. Anyway, are we going to go down the corral? Do you just wanna visit, or ride?" she asked, before blushing again. "Sorry, I don't mean to be bothersome; I just wondered if I should get changed."

This girl certainly had an eye for detail. And detail was the only way to describe it. Ryoko didn't really get to see them very clearly, but what she had seen of the girl's work, she was enthralled by. Though she would ask to see those later, when the tour was over. Right now, she smiled and listened intently to the girl. A small twinge of blush hit her cheeks as she found herself picturing the girl on a horse, and she quickly withdrew it by turning to an angle that one couldn't see her face at.
She passed this off with a slyly placed sentence.
"I can't ride, sadly, but I do know that one has to own a horse there to ride it. And you don't HAVE to change, but why don't you give it a shot anyway? I'll turn around for you."
Ryoko began to watch out the window again, in hopes of distracting herself while Mitsu took care of what she had to.

"Oh, that's too bad. I can teach you how, sometime, if you want!" Mitsuru happily offered. "Anyway, you're right. I can always ask if I can borrow someone's. Plus, I know one of my dad's friends owns a stable near Kyoto, so I might be able to get one of my own sometime," she rambled a bit as she went back into her newly organized closet. Pulling out a pair of black jodhpurs, she quickly changed into those first before choosing a shirt. It was made of white linen that was slightly transparent and had sleeves that came three-quarters of the way down her arms as well as an open V-neck. It was a loose top, but because of the window behind her, you could easily see the silhouette of her slightly curved figure and slim arms.
"Done!" she called out to Ryoko once she had slipped into the shirt, blushing slightly. Gathering her hair up into a bun with one hand, she grabbed an elastic hair tie around her wrist with her teeth to keep it in place, then grabbed a chair to keep her balance while she zipped up knee-high riding boots. Lastly, she tucked a riding helmet under one arm and straightened her posture. A blush touched her features again, as she realized how strange it probably was to have all of her equipment with her. "Kinda weird, huh? I guess I was just excited about having a stable within easy reach," Mitsuru explained, cheeks still red.

"not weird at all. Now let's see." Ryoko said, turning around slowly. This was a rather striking new figure in front of her. The outfit suited her to almost an extreme. The spitting image of what would soon be the prince, she was certain. Ryoko was almost so wrapped up in her future thoughts that she didn't catch herself spacing out and staring. But who could blame her?
"W-well then, you definitely have the look!" Said Ryoko as she felt herself start to blush from the embarrassment of staring. Was there anything that she had a special outfit for? Thinking back, she did have that one formal dress for that concert a while back, but that was it. Maybe she would get a chance to wear that for a concert or show here too?
"S-so then, are we ready to head out?"

The blush from Ryoko was infectious; in moment, the light pink from earlier deepened to borderline fuschia, and Mitsuru suddenly found herself admiring the other girl: Her face was so adorable, and her hair would be lovely to play with once it was down... It took her a moment realized what a suggestive situation they were in: Inside of her bedroom with the door closed. Oh god, I will not think about that, I will not think about that, I will not think about that... she repeated over and over again in her head, the silence between the two deepening as they stared.
"Y-y-yeah. We should probably head out!" Mitsuru said, trying to regain her composure and awkwardly rubbing the back of her head.

A thought came to her then. But she pushed it aside for now, and smiled as she usually did. No big, so she was a teeny bit more interested in this girl than the others. That was no reason to be staring and delaying the conversation right? Ryoko awkwardly began to come back to the situation at hand, and made her way to the door.
"So then, to the corral?" She asked, her bangs conveniently covering her eyes in a shadow to prevent them from being traced and thus, stopping the other girl from seeing the expression Ryoko had. It wasn't the usual cold gaze her eyes gave her. A softer gaze though, and much more expressive.
This entire scene was just straight out of a play. A prince and a timid yet outwardly mature girl from different places. The entire thing was just so... So...
"Romeo and Juliet." She said aloud by accident. Of course, Romeo wasn't actually a prince. But then, the symbolism came more from the different sides that were Spica and Miator to the Capulets and Montagues.

"Right! The corral!" Mitsuru said, channeling the strange, nervous energy that seemed to be running through her limbs into a sort of adorable enthusiasm. She could wait to hopefully get on a horse and work out all of the tension from her limbs. Her feelings about Ryoko, she'd have to examine closer later for sure, but for the moment, she'd just be hyper.
"Ehh? Romeo and Juliet? I love that play!" she said, opening the door for Ryoko and stepping out into the hallway. "'Oh, she doth teach the torches to burn bright!' I always wanted to have someone to say such outrageously romantic things like that to," she giggled, taking an over-the-top, deep voice as she quoted Shakespeare.

"Heh... You never know who you'll meet for that." Ryoko turned to begin leaving, urging Mitsu to follow her to the corral. This was a strange day indeed. However, it was also a great day. Whatever was going on, she wasn't about to complain. She was, however, going to get lost in thought.
"Nevermind what I said, let's head out!" She urged, smiling to herself from her turned away direction. She began to think heavily again, this time not about the birds or the trees or the ripples in the fountain like she had before.
"Crap, what am I gonna do? I can't stop blushing and I just said something I was supposed to be thinking to myself! It's like I'm in the presence of royalty or something! Well, I guess I did call her the Prince of the school."
((You may want to start us off in the corral. Or you can reply here, whichever you like.))

[[ Hey, I started a new thread. Sorry for the wait- Holidays and whatnot. Also, as a slight warning, I'm going to my best friend's house in Texas for a while. She has limited internet, so I might not be on as often. I'll be able to get on from my phone sometimes, but that means my posts will be shorter since typing on it isn't quite as easy as on the computer. Sorry!~ D: ]]
