Is your character on the Student Council? Yes
If yes, what does your character think of the student council president? A relatable girl who loves science, technology, and subjects on the paranormal just like her! Chitose admires Shun’s leadership and is quite proud to be able to serve on the council under her. She is especially fond of the girl’s talent in the magical arts and hopes to one day uncover the magician’s secrets in the sleight of hand illusions, though she knows far well that a magician never exposes their secrets.
Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more:
An adorable, fluffy mystery blended with an excess of endearing clumsiness, a pinch of shyness, and a hidden intellect borderline of that of the great Einstein himself. Chitose naturally comes off as a warm, huggable teddy bear that would actually rather squirm away than be hugged. She is a bit awkward around people, especially if she is to be hugged, pet, or otherwise. She just never really got used to physical contact. An interestingly strange side of her seems to come out when her signature red glasses are removed. It stirs three very different reactions. She usually will become really bashful and ask for them back (she’s as blind as a bat without them XD), become completely emotionless and wrestle them back, or act all princely with an all-mighty more mature voice and demand them back.
Chitose is incredibly smart, though she prefers not to show it in front of others due to fear they might make fun of her. With intelligence rivaling Einstein, she can complete a puzzle, rubik’s cube, mathematical problem, or cross-word puzzle in less than a minute flat. Rumors back where she grew up even tell of her one time accidently hacking a complex heavily-coded government website in a mere three minutes. She possess a fondness of learning how things work and recently indulged in the fascinating study of astronomy, botany, and paranormal studies. (Though she is a little skeptical at the claimed reality of the existence of ghosts). She keeps a small notepad and sketchbook with her at all times to record her findings. Painting, story writing, and origami are hobbies she also enjoys.
Aside from being a total spaced-out computer geek, she really loves everything traditional Japanese styled! Kimonos, priestess robes, katanas, haikus, shoji screens – they all get her going! Nearly half of her library consists of everything there is to know about feudal Japan. One of her biggest points on her bucket list is to one day meet a real life geisha! She owns a bunch of summer yukatas and wagasas that she keeps in her closet at home.
What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole? She has done her research, and through it all, she has concluded it as a noisy competition or test to simply prove a couple’s love and sincerity to each other. She thinks of it as a little pointless overall, but admires it nonetheless. Two people that love each other dearly working together. Ah, it is a wonderful thought!
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday? She would like to try it one day if she could. Though she might not be the most ideal person capable of standing perfectly composed next to someone she cared for dearly, she thinks she might have a shot if the right person came along.
What does your character think of the current etoiles? She thinks Akemi as a little boisterous with a bit of an arrogant attitude to match. Still, she respects her nonetheless. As for Ayuki, she is infatuated with her shyness and considers her to be completely adorable. She admires her for adopting such a renowned position as Etoile despite being so shy. She would very much like to meet them one day, even if just for a second. Though, she is pretty sure that is a chance that is barely in her reach.
What does your character think of the other schools? Spica is a little too fast-paced for her and Miator is a bit too strict for her liking. She would be too embarrassed to even step one foot outside in the Spica uniform due to its length and she would probably die before she even made one lap around the school’s huge track. Still, she has a fondness for their high use of equestrian based activities. As for Miator, she likes the uniform and finds the school as well as its campus respectfully as likeable. If the rule-following standards weren’t so high, she thinks she would not have minded being placed in that school. Lulim, on the other hand, suits her well, and, though she will not admit if asked, she thinks the uniform is absolutely adorable!
~History~
Please write in 100 words or more your character's history before she came to Lulim.
History before Astraea Hill:
Chitose’s history was pretty short of nothing special. She grew up in the resplendent electric district of Akihabara where her family had lived for generations. The moment she was born, she was surrounded by swirling neon lights that never failed to capture her interest. All the electricity, the mechanics, and the fundamentals of it all – she desired to study it all! At the age of two, her eyesight significantly worsened, and after discovering she had two stigmatisms in both eyes, it was then decided that she would need glasses for the rest of her life. The girl grew up to enjoy an electric life of numerous hobbies from then on ranging from computer-programing to electrical work to memorizing some of the world’s most well-known documents and works of literature (she won first place in her elementary school by reciting America’s renowned Declaration of Independence in English from memory in a Talent Show). Her family marveled her intelligence, but it was not as warmly perceived by her fellow classmates when she hit junior high. She was bullied here at this all-girl’s school. Called names and made fun of. Physically hurt. Laughed at. Kicked down the stairs. She never hated her schoolmates for it, as she believed retaliating would only make her less of a person. She managed to tough out being the misunderstood freak of the school until her parents offered to send her to Astrea Hill’ St. Lulim. She quickly consented and soon was tumbling down the road on a gently swaying train to a new chance at life.

(Contains a little violence and bullying)
I can hear everyone’s voices so clearly above the chaos, yet your silence rings above them all… I wish you would come and save me…I’m scared.
“What, is the little genius not going to try and fight back?” Aihara girl’s school Student Council President Namine Kyoko scoffed at the defenseless Chitose she had pinned to the wall. Chitose merely shook her head ‘no’ in silent response. She was better than them. Better than succumbing to the low act of violence. The vast crowd of screeching onlookers had multiplied in the short minute after Kyoko had trapped the girl. Some looked on in vengeful pleasure. Others in a mix between stomach-churning fear and concern. Yet not one stepped up to interfere.
With a rough jerk of the wrist, Chitose’s head was yanked up with such a force that it created an aching strain on her neck. A disjoined cheer was sent up from the boisterous crowd. They were actually enjoying this? Watching someone else in pain… It sickened her. Drunk by the uproar of the crowd, Kyoko threw the girl on the floor in one deft motion. Chitose muffled a strained cry. This didn't hurt. Nothing did. These people that enjoyed and resorted to violence were below her. It would get them no where in life.
As Kyoko went to take things further, the school bell suddenly shivered through the halls, its presence signaling the little event to end. Everyone wordlessly dispersed without a second glance back. Everyone but one. A cute black-haired girl sporting straight shoulder-length hair adorned with a pink hair clip waltzed up to the abandoned girl, offering a hand.
“Need any help?”
“Ah?” Chitose slowly raised her sore head, a blush spreading across her bruised face. This girl…was being nice to her. Someone was being nice to her. She shyly took the girl’s hand and flashed a timid smile as she was pulled up.
“Th-Thank you very much, miss.” She stammered with a bow of gratitude.
“You are very welcome. …Hey, what may be your name?” The pretty girl responded kindly.
“Chitose. Aoihime Chitose. It is quite a pleasure to meet you.”
“Well, Aoihime-chan, it is nice to meet you too. I am Kurosawa Sayuri. Oh, Aoihime-chan! Would you like to eat lunch together today?”
“Wh-Wha? A-Are you serious?! Of cour- Ah. I mean, yes.”
Chitose’s blush darkened as the girl began to laugh. Seizing her hand gently, the two exchanged another smile before proceeding down the hallway.
I see what I was missing in my calculations up until now all along…. A friend.
