Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more:
Too cool to care,” is a good place to start describing Shoka, she really doesnt care about anyone or anything, at all. She's colder than cold. But reading that, one would think, “ah then she must have a warm and loving center right?” Not a chance. Shoka would just as soon crush anyone she kissed. Just when they feel safe, she'll strike. She has no friends and isn't bothered by the fact, she doesn't love anyone- with no reason to do so, not even her family. She's not an animal person, nor a caregiver. She's borderline abusive and if she wanted to be, she could easily be a sociopath. She understands manipulation, so she's not exactly a loner. If she needs or wants something she'll surround herself with those who will help her to get it. Somehow, despite her treatment of others, she still seems to meet others, girls mainly, who want to be near her and get to know her, but her heart has no room for the passion they so desperately seek from her.
Her passion in turn lies in science and study, chemistry. These things are easy to understand and suit her. Numbers and formulas are so static, strict and sure. Just like her. With science, she can discover how things work, why they work. From that she is extremely intelligent, which only adds to her isolation from others. She enjoys watching and experimenting with people, toying with emotions and understand just how much or how little it take to break a person....that way...they can't be hurt anymore.
In her mind, her evil doings are actually helping people. Hurting them to make them as cold as she is, means they learn, like she did, that they can't get hurt if they are made of cold hard stone all the way to the core.
What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole? It's nice, even better that it seems constantly laced with drama and this "curse". She would enjoy getting her hands dirty in ruining some Etoile partnership.
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday?
Nah.
What does your character think of the current etoiles? The young one, the Uke is deftly corruptible, while Akemi is more of a fighter. She just might try to ruin things, how far could she tempt the little one, before the fighter came fighting?
What does your character think of the other schools? In spite of the school rivalry, she actually holds Miator's emphasis in "the feminine" in high regard. After all if there were no pretty blossoms, then where would the butterfly feed?
~History~
Please write in 100 words or more your character's history before she came to Spica.
History before Astraea Hill: She was born an only child, she might have become the feminine type, if her mother hadn't died of a tragic accident when she was very young. Her entire life she was raised as a boy, treated like a boy, so she acted like a boy, when she was older, she told her father gender didn't matter. She would be just as good as anyone, no better. She accepted masculing roles and titles, even winning a scientic award of excellence which usually excluded women at the time. In spite of her aethistic and highly evolutionist opinions, her Catholic father forced her to attend Astraea. It wasn't truly against her will, as it would be a nice looking school on her resume to get her into a higher scientific university. Though after being here 5 years, shes come to the conclusion the schools are heavily biased, molding the girls into feminine drones who can't think for themselves. She was never very wealthy, but it was funding from her science awards that helped get her into the school, no one would know she doesn't havea penny to her name until she leaves school and gets back into her field. Numbers, physics, theory.
First Year: Excelling in studies got her noticed quickly among the others, she was more innocent then, easily ignoring the fawning of students impressed with her grades. She ignored it so well, she was almost oblivious to the growing whispers and crushes evolving around her.
Second Year: it was in this year someone first confessed their love to her. Rather than take it to heart she was fascinated by the confession. She'd never interacted with this girl in any way, perhaps shared a pencil sharpener or some silly thing of no significance. She took the girl up on her offer to be together and awakened more..adult feelings. To her delight others were interested in her and she quickly let the first girl go to chase another, experimenting with her new found powers.
Third Year: In her third year she started figuring out exactly what things about her made the other girls want her. she was not kind or friendly, she was cruel and found much amusement in how easily she could manipulate the hearts and minds of the girls who wanted her. No matter her cruelty, the confessions still came. Her influence was growing.
Fourth Year: In this year her reputation spread as an "Ice Prince" girls still fawned over her, even those she had broken, though they wept at the sight of her, she knew they still wanted her. She's been slapped as many times as she's been kissed and she loves it.
Fifth Year:
Sixth Year:
Sample Post:Easy..Easy now. Sky colored orbs gazed through clear lenses as she measured a chemical, pouring it with precision into a second vile. Skilled hands and long fingers did not tremble, she did not breath, it was almost perfect. Just a few more milliliters, she reached for the dropper, ignoring the bits of violet hair that spilled over her cheeks. She filled the dropper, carefully placing the vile back on the holder and prepared to drop the last bit into her new solution.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHOKA-KUN!!!!!!!!!!!”
Startled, she squeezed to much in, the mixture heated, foamed, the concoction quickly turned into an expanding gel that broke the glass. She dropped it and it caused a bubbling, steaming chemical mess on the desk and floor. She stepped back, closing her eyes, a deep frown between her brows.
“I-I'm sorry...” came the same voice from behind her.
Shoka didn't respond, she removed her gloves, her experiment ruined, she placed the gloves neatly away from the spill, and placed her glasses away as well.
She turned...to give the girl a smile. Politely, she approached her, quickening her pace and letting the anger show in her gaze, frightening the Spica girl until she was pushed up against the wall. Shoka put a hand on the wall on either side of the girls head, the force of her hands making the girl gasp.
“S-Shoka-kun?” The girl stammered, trying to smile, but unable to hide her true feelings. Shoka could smell it, attraction, want and fear.
“Thank you for coming. You've proven just what I needed to know.
“Oh? Then that's good right? I really didn't mean to..”
“Shhh,” In the quiet of the laboratory, she took the girls chin in her fingers tilting her head back. She kissed her, bringing the gesture to a heated intensity; she felt the girl begin to quiver, the scent intensified. Suddenly, she began to laugh.
She broke the kiss, looking down at the floor, chuckling, then met the girls confused and flustered gaze, breaking into a cruel smile and laughed louder and more openly. She backed up, her hand on her forehead as she tried to suppress her laughter.
“You came here to wish me a happy birthday, you ruin my experiment, and then you think it's a good thing? How stupid are you?” She laughed, hardly controlling herself. The girl against the wall began to crumble, she could see it in her face, the way her knees shook, the way her fisted hands pressed to her chest and her face flushed red with pain and anger rather than ecstasy. “Stupid girl.”
“B-But Shoka-kun,”
“SHUT UP! Don't call me by my first name like you think you know me. You are nothing to me, don't you know that? You've just been a pawn, and now I'm done with you. Get out of my sight. You disgust me.”
The girl shook, trying not to let Shoka see her cry, but still she could see the wetness on her eyes. The girl turned and ran. The redhead heard her sobs echoing down the hall fading with her footsteps.
Alone again, she smiled to herself.
“Good.” She said, and returned to her work.
