What kind of clothes does you character wear when she's not in uniform?
Nothing flashy. Just whatever's comfortable that fits her style. She likes to give off an approachable demeanor so she doesn't try too hard, but definitely still does. Her makeup is usually either light or not there at all. Except during her shows, when she has a general "pop" vibe to her. There will be images if this when I find them.

Is your character on the Student Council? No
If yes, what does your character think of the student council president? She cares about as much as a cat cares about wet paint, when it comes to politics.
Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more:
If you're looking for someone willing to try anything, you've found her. Arceia tends to be adventurous and light hearted, usually keeping her tense feelings under wraps. Her outer attitude is one of fun and good will, always trying to enjoy her life and diffuse bad situations when they arise. Her mood isn't easy to change, but with enough pressure put on her for a long enough time she can snap. If she does, she will at first get very loud and angry, and then sob to herself in private until she feels better, usually while listening to music that fits the mood she wants to be in.
If you know her as a friend, she is nothing but sassy. Her way of being friends is to openly and jokingly mock them, but also wants to take some of that herself. In her eyes, the closest friends are the ones who can rip each other apart and not get offended by it. It's a symbol of trust to her that she can listen to this person say mean things and know they would never say them in malice. Naturally, this means she's far more obnoxious with friends than strangers.
If you're the object of her affection, congratulations and enjoy the slightly demanding side of her. Getting this close to her means she will probably accidentally ask a whole lot of you, talk to you often, get clingy, and set ground rules for what is and is not okay to do. She will then knowingly commit PDA and break her own rules.
If she doesn't like you, don't worry. You won't ever know. You'll probably never see her again. She's very analytical and goes out of her way to avoid people she dislikes.
What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole? Cute. Wouldn't mind having it. Not gonna work at it.
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday? If it happens.
What does your character think of the current etoiles? (Please answer this question with her opinions of them as specific individuals even if she does not know who they are. If you don't know what to put, click the Etoiles tab in the side bar, click their avatars, read their profiles and then answer this question. )
Honestly, she doesn't get too involved and not everyone will, so it's safe to assume most people probably share her views about not wanting to invest too heavily in or following the latest Etoiles. However, if forced to randomly know about them she would probably hold them both under the same scrutiny as everyone else. She would probably have more to talk about with Akemi considering her general attitude. She wouldn't think any differently of either of them as she would anyone else, despite their positions. In fact, she would probably go out of her way to humanize them to the public if she were friends with them, because nobody likes being a symbol instead of a person. But wait, she's missing something... Oh! The uke. She's forgettable. So if the same magical knowing people powers hit Arceia for her, she would probably be that girl Arceia routinely dragged from stupid event to stupid event.
What does your character think of the other schools? Great stuff, everywhere. Not a lot to say about it.
~History~
Please write in 100 words or more your character's history before she came to Spica.
History before Astraea Hill:
Arceia spent her early years in a middle class household with a small family and never really cared to expand her horizons. Her passion was always music even from a very early age, and so she tried to learn many instruments. She failed, every time, and sent herself into a small depression during which she discovered what Disc Jockeys do. She immediately set out learning everything about it, and spent her last two free summers before her 12th birthday saving money by working for her neighbors, babysitting and such, until she could afford equipment to broadcast her own radio show. The equipment isn't the best quality but she has a laptop, iTunes, and about 30 days worth of music on an external hard drive. She frequently did online radio shows for her neighborhood until she opted to begin schooling at Astraea Hill - where she plans to continue her radio shows in order to pay tuition. She has set up a donation box on her website, that she had paid a friend to code for her and maintain, where students or whoever enjoys the show can support her. This funding goes to tuition, equipment, and paying to keep her site up.
__________
First Year: The first year of her schooling was slow, boring, and well, school. Her site and her broadcasts were on hiatus while she figured a way to pay for her tuition since her parents had to take out loans to afford it. She wasn't wealthy by any means but she wanted to go to a prestigious school and blast her music for it. It was during this year that she found out about her passion for digital genre of music and expanded her library even further. She rebooted her broadcasts to once a week, on Thursdays, and calls herself "DJ Rctic" on the show. She's convinced nobody knows her identity in campus and is proud of that fact. She also joined the swim team to try and warn grant money to continue her studies and by association lean away from a donation box on her show.

Safe in her studio - which was really just her room - she began to go through all her settings. Mic working? Check. Fifty songs picked out for this week? Check. Potential intruders gone? Check. Headphones on? Oh definitely check.
"Evening Astraea. It's your old friend DJ Rctic." She said, a sort of determination in her voice that was usually hidden by sass or bluntness. It was fun time, not work time. "Tonight's show is sponsored by true generosity of all the students chipping in to make this happen. Your donations are a huge boost and I'm gonna show you how well spent they are."
Her hand drifted to the desk next to her, while her keyboard hand muted her mic and put on a soft trance song. It was relaxing and festive, capturing her attitude toward winter as best as she could find. It was between this first song and the next that she grabbed her energy drink, and chipped away at homework. Most average songs were two to five minutes in length, but in the techno and dubstep genre it could go into half hour long songs or more. Plus there was the matter of running ads down the road she had to think about - but enough of that. This song was coming to a close in ten seconds. She put down her pen and paper for homework, and moved her settings around to not only pause the playlist, but up mute her mic and start up the sub playlist for background instrumental while she spoke. It was a fluid system and it had worked for her back home.
"Welcome to the holidays, with the Rctic host for the arctic season. Nah, we aren't gonna change much for the holidays. I bet you're just as tired of Christmas music in November as I am." She takes audibly. "We're just gonna do a little more chillstep and trance than other stuff. Nice and soothing for those long nights stuck indoors. Stay tuned, we have a block coming up and then, we'll talk gossip. I just got my letter and I'm sure you did too so let's have a chat about it. Phone line's open in ten minutes, so blow it up."
With that, she put on more music, went back to her homework, and sighed. Only 8PM and still another 4 hours to go tonight. It was a good start, she thought.
