What Clubs is your character
involved in:
Japanese Tea Ceremony
Flower Arrangement
Ballroom Dancing
Is your character on the Student
Council: No.
What does your character think of the other schools?
Personally, Momoko thinks that Miator's too old-fashioned and reminds her of her home and of the constant demands of studying, studying and more studying. Le Rim by contrast is more fun and playful and it's where she set her sights. Even now, she looks at Le Rim with starred eyes. Spica on the other hand, while it has some more outgoing programs is pretty much another Miator. Making the rivalry, on its face rather silly in Momoko's mind.
What are they rivals about? The uniform? Well, Momoko will admit that Miator's superior. Is it the different programs? Okay, to each to one's tastes. You can either have a more sporting program in Spica or Miator's feminine traditions. Overall, the rivalry is rather silly and only the Etoile Position is what makes it legitimate.
Please explain your character's personality in 200 characters or
more:
Momoko Renai is a 12 year old daughter of a rich tycoon family. When the discussion of her education was brought up, her abusive and tyrannical father wanted to groom her into a lady. Her mother tried to object and save her daughter, but to no avail.....
To prepare Momoko to continue the family's strong traditions, she underwent strict education to make her the most refined lady possible.
To that end, the family wanted to put her into Miator but when she saw Le Rim on the magazine, she pouted and cried out that she wanted to join Le Rim...
Her parents would have none of it however. And had her join Miator.
Due to her strict raising and upbringing, Momoko has all of the refined traits a woman should have: Beauty, grace and politeness. She can sometimes act too perfect to a fault that it's obvious that she's acting and it isn't the real her.
The real her is cheery, playful and optimistic. She won't hesitate to take any adventure since she feels she had been locked into the trap of royalty for her entire life.
One such thought that comes to her mind, is what would it be like to live a life that's considered "normal". No rich lifestyle, no being called "Momoko-sama." Just being regular old Momoko, how would that be?
Does your character want to be an
Etoile someday?
Momoko would very much love to be an
Etoile. As she's heavily influenced by
the elegance and grace of Etoile and
she feels that she could one day be of
great service to Miator in that role.
But, for Momoko, she wants to make the
decision to run for Etoile on her own
and she doesn't want her family's
legacy to be the deciding factor. She
wants to be her own woman.
Sample Post: Two middle-aged adults were wearing suits and highly refined custom clothing, it was clear that today was important. They were riding in a carriage with a young pink-haired girl sitting in between them with a Miator uniform on.
Her name was Momoko Renai. And just a day earlier, she had cried her lungs out in protest of this decision.
"Momoko-Chan, we've decided what school you're going to go to for your adult education" Her mother called out her name smoothly, as though knowing she had to be the mediator between her and her stern father, who she hated oh so much.
"You're going to Miator." The burly bureaucratic middle-aged man said. And he said it so bluntly that of course it would shock and anger Momoko.
"Dear, please think of Momoko's feelings! To say it like that..." His wife tried to plea, but he would have none of it.
"Stop treating her like a child! She's 12 years old! 12. And we don't have a son, do we!?" He said, in a tone of criticism towards his wife. "No...."
"Then we have to prepare her to one day possibly succeed the family heir, do you think she has time to play?"
"Then, when will I have time to play, Father?" Momoko spoke up, her voice sounding awfully refined but also agitated and clearly rebellious.
Her father, for his part was not going to put up with it and stood next to her. "Dear!" His wife cried out invainly.
"Never in your life..." Her father definitely lacked tact. "You're the last remaining vestige of the Renai family. Your the daughter of the First Branch. Whether you like it or not,the family business, everything is riding on your shoulders!"
"I didn't ask for anything to be on my shoulders, Father! And I didn't ask to join Miator, I wanted to join Le Rim! And above all...." **She took out the hairpin that symbolized their family. "I never asked to be born into this rotten family!!!!!!!!!!!!"
She threw the heirloom on the ground and then crushed it with her feet. Huffing and puffing in anger. Then the brute grabbed his daughter by the collar and pinned her to the wall.
"You ungrateful wrench! Would you rather soak out in the rain like a dog? Would you rather not have the preferential treatment? The First class food? The excellent education you'll be getting at Miator that millions of Japanese kids will never be able to see in their lifetime....!"
"Dear, please stop this! She's just a child, and she'll grow to like Miator!" She tried pulling on his arm, but it was no use .Her Husband was a former military member. He obviously outclassed his wife in terms of brute strength.
"You're right...She'll grow to like Miator...She has no choice!".
Then Momoko let out a defiant hmph. "I'll never like that school, ever!"
This made the man, her so called father's eyes twist in anger. "If you ask why, it's because that school is a symbol of the fact that you look at me as the 'Successor of the Renai Family' instead of as Momoko!"
Her spirited defiance earned her a throw to the ground, though secretly her father admired her courage.
"We'll be leaving for Miator tommorrow. Pack your bags."
And so finally...they arrived at Miator. A very refined, if not unspectacular place. It was that combination of normalcy and majesty that first attracted Momoko...then she shook her head.
"I definitely won't like this place!" She thought to herself and pouted solemnly. She was sure it'd be an awful time. The teachers would be as stern as her dictatorial father, the kids would equally be as plain and boring. Carbon copies of herself....Ah...How she longed for Le Rim!
