Is your character on the Student Council? Yes! Why not?
If yes, what does your character think of the student council president, _______ ? She really looks up to Kuramiko-sama with wide eyes. While the girl reminds her of the former Etoile Cousin, who's shadow she is always trying not to live beneath, she respects her greatly.
Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more:
Rin Minigawa, who chooses to go by Riko to avoid being confused with her cousin of the same name who is, assistant and soon to be full chancellor of St Miator Girls Academy, though most people know her as the gardening teacher. Unfortunately for Riko, she has a love of gardening very much like the sensei, but other than that likes to pretend they have little in common. She's not really the type to be outgoing, but she isn't afraid to talk to people either, and she enjoys letting her ideas be heard, but isn't one to really take initiative or take lead.
She wears her emotions on her sleeve and is easy to read, maybe she's predictable too...unless you mention Minigawa sensei or etoile, then she goes silent and you can't get her to travel anything without her being really evasive. If she was covered and forced into the subject, she'd probably become really emotional. She's honest, but as polite as possible, kind and good at her studies. She has a strong determination to be really good at any task set before her, and is really hard on herself if she can't do it. It doesn't take much though for a friend to cheer her! She's afraid of animals, and death but likes butterflies! When it comes tho famous and scary situations, she's pay, but prefers to have someone around who she can feel safe with. If she were to start to fall for someone, she'd slowly start to act more shy around them, maybe accidentally giving the impression she doesn't like them anymore, when it's the opposite!
What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole?
To her, the dream of a star couple becoming etoile is great and all, wonderfully romantic and...nice...but it's almost expected of her to become etoile after her cousin had the spot five years ago. She'd rather not, and it makes her uncomfortable to think of being on a pedestal like that, she'd be a nervous wreck. That and she really doesn't want to be compared to minigawa sensei...what if she let everyone down?
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday?
This question would make her squirm. Deep down yes...but only if she had someone strong beside her who made her feel confident about trying.
What does your character think of ______and _____, the current etoiles? Answer withheld till post election!
What does your character think of the other schools? She admires Spican's for being so strong, brave, and proud, but can't help feeling giddy or embarrassed at the thought of acting like one. Lulim girls are so cute and free! But she's sure she'd feel shy around anyone who wasn't from Miator, mainly because she's already have preconceived ideas of what they would be like. Miator is reserved like her and feels comfortable. It's just too bad Minigawa sensei teaches there, she hopes not to run in to her.
~History~
Please write in 100 words or more your character's history before she came to Miator:
History before Astraea Hill:
Rin had a living home and a good elementary school. She had a friend named Tsetsumi, who was really her best friend. A string red head who always took charge and helped her to be strong. If they had gotten to stay together, she might have recently fallen for her. But instead, she writes to her every now and then and but in general terms to admire anyone like her. Ever since wood had gotten out that her cousin had become Etoile, her aunt and uncle liked to rub it in her parents face, So they in turn pressure her to be more like her cousin. While she's good at all the right things, she just wants to be herself. She doesn't want to be like Minigawa sensei, she wants to be like herself, no expectations of what she should and shouldn't be. She'd be likely to hold onto people who encouraged this.
She met her aunt and uncle only once, harsh, flat, shallow people who obviously had no love for their daughter. That made her feel bad for her cousin, but now being how she's going to be chancellor has her feeling like all eyes are in her. She hopes that in her years on Astraea, shell get to relax for a few years before she has to do what he family expects of her. Then again, etoile wouldn't be so bad if she had a reason to run, a person to run with. Then etoile would truely be what it's meant to. She'd hate to run for the position for any other reason.
First Year: She made a lot of friends this year! She met Ubu at the library and was introduced to her American friend Margeaux at the halloween party. She made friends with a pretty albino girl in her dance class, and then when winter came around, skipped class to have fun with her nwe friends. There was a lot of rule breaking this year during the search to solve the mystery of the mysterious journal with Ruri, a first year student, and Kuramiko, the student council president! At the winter ball, her room mate Aki made some strong moves trying to win Rin's heart, but in the end, the magic of the night went to Margeaux. Then, Christmas came around where all the friends, and some new faces, traded gifts at Ubu's white elephant party. In the spring, Rin saw Margeaux again, made her lunch and had a rather dokidoki moment when she spotted her friend using a bow and arrow like a cool samurai warrior. The Summer then was spend delving into the catacombs beneath Miator uncovering secrets of the past and solving old mysteries long forgotten. This year was full of friendship, things are looking up as we move into her second year.
Second Year: This year, she drifted away from her friend Ubu who had become so popular that Rin felt too normal and distant to contend. However she did grow closer to Margeaux, from a Halloween party where something mysterious happened, to a night on the roof of the strawberry dorms telling her red head companion how special she was. They became best friends and spent the summer slowly realizing there might be more than friendship buzzing in their hearts.

"Good Morning!" Called a voice, followed by a sudden bounce that sent Rin scrambling for her pillow, hugging it for safety as she tried to figure out what was attacking her. However wide blue eyes found a girl, perched above her, green eyes blazing.
"Tsetsumi-chan? What are you doing?" Mumbled Rin sleepily, releasing her grip on her pillow.
"Duh, only making sure you're not late for the best day ever!"
Rin blinked, sliding out from under her friend, rubbing her eyes, yellow pajamas accenting her pink hair.
"I heard you got your uniform three weeks ago, why didn't you tell me? Have you tried it on yet?" The redhead hopped off the bed,
Rin shook her head, "It will look silly." But her friend knew she hadn't tried it on for much different reasons. She was afraid that donning the uniform meant accepting her fate.
"Where is it? Is this it?" She picked up a box from Rin's desk.
"Hai.." replied Rin, still trying to remember her name, mornings were always so hard.
"Come on then, get up!" All at once Tsetsumi was tugging at Rin's shirt trying to force her into the uniform, and with much success.
Suddenly Tsetsumi was clapping and squeeling with giddy excitement.
"It's perfect! Almost like our old uniforms."
Rin suddenly found herself alert, she eyed herself in the mirror. It was comfortable, a lot more soft than it had looked in the box. Light weight too.
"You think it's okay?"
The redhead nodded confidently.
Rin wandered to her dresser, she only had a few things that weren't already packed. She chose white, over the knew stockings with a ruffle at the top, and dark brown boots that stopped half way up her calf.
Then to her mirror where she fastened a black ribbon into her hair while Tsetsumi got tho braiding it.
Downstairs at breakfast her mother gushed about how adorable she was whole simultaneously hugging the life out of her while Tsetsumi looked on in satisfaction. She was reluctant to go to Astraea Hill, but eager to get out of the house, those two had way too much energy. It was eight in the morning, but to Run it may add well have still been closer to three, in the pre sunrise area.
She walked with Tsetsumi to the car while her red headed friend hoisted her two suitcases into the trunk. Rin sank into the car, relaxed by the silence.
"Make me proud Rin-Chan, you can do it! You'll be fine!" Called her mother. Rin smiled and wanted from the car. Make her proud? She took a deep breath, then her friend plopped beside her and shift the car door.
"To Astraea Hill!" She proclaimed to the driver, and the car began to move. Rin looked out the window, too nervous for conversation.
"Excited yet?" Asked her friend. Rin did have knows in her stomach, she'd should talked, it's not like she had to be etoile tomorrow, so she let herself smile and nod.
Tsetsumi returned with a wide grin, "man your so lucky, I mean, our old school is fancy and all, but Astraea Hill? And miator? It's be seriously freaking out! Doesn't your cousin like own the school or something?"
"Not really, but she must be really amazing." Rin said that, but her heart sank, she didn't like talking about Minigawa senpai.
Tsetsumi picked up on this and changed the subject.
"Hey, sure you'll be okay without me around to kick bottom for you?"
Rin giggled, remembering the time Tsetumi had karate kicked a boy who said Rin was just a dumb girl, and sent him flying.
"Hai," she replied, "will you be okay without me to help with your homework?"
"Pshhh," spat Tsetsumi, "are you kidding? I'll be luck to pass with a C. But don't worry about me, if anyone should worry, it's me about you."
They were quiet for a few minutes.
"Ri-chan,"she said, "you call sometimes...won't you?" She looked a little sad just then.
"Of course Tsetsumi-chan! I'll call every day!" Rin's blue flashed in determination.
Tsetsumi snorted and burst out laughing,"don't look so serious! You don't have to do that, just..don't forget me kay?" Rin smiled,
"Kay," Tsetsumi took her hand, and squeezed. Rin smiled, she suddenly felt ready for the day. Astraea...Miator wouldn't be so bad, it was only six years. She could do it as long as Tsetumi believed she could.
After about twenty minutes, Tsetumi suddenly plastered herself to the window, "Look! That's it! That's Astraea Hill!"
A large polished gate was ahead and beyond were several buildings, one was a chapel, and there were several girls in uniform walking to school. The car stop ped at the gate and Rin froze with nerves. It took all her courage...and Tsetsumi's strength to pull her and her bags out of the car. A sister was there to meet her. Tsesumi hugged her one more time. "You better call me!" She said again, "tell me everything!" Then she rushed back to the car,
"Tsetsumi-chan, wait!" Called Rin, frantic. Her friend stopped, unable to look back.
"I..I'll miss you!" She called.
Tsestumi paused, but suddenly spun around with her best smile, "do your best!" She replied. But as she tried to get back in the car, she thought she saw a tear sparkle from her friend's eye.
The pinkette swallowed, and took a deep breath as the car driver away. Watching it until she couldn't make out the redhead in the backseat anymore and turned to follow the sister. It was bittersweet, but now that she was here her staff melted into pure excitement! This place was amazing! She felt her eyes fill with stars as she looked around. In spite of everything, she had a feeling the next six years would be the best ones of her life.
