What kind of clothes does your character wear when she's not in uniform? Yukiko is almost always seen with her favorite blue hoodie (which was once her brother’s), even in warmer weather. Other than that, her wardrobe consists mostly of t-shirts and jeans. She also has a silver snowflake necklace which she never takes off (given to her by her older brother).
What Sports/activities is you character involved in? You may choose "none" or a maximum of three from the list below.
Choir: Yes
Archery: Yes
Martial Arts: Yes
Other? -If you wanted your character to be part of a sport or activity not listed above, please list it here and an admin will decide if your character can have it.
Is your character on the Student Council? No.
If yes, what does your character think of the student council president, Junko Hiruko? Please answer this because if your character is on the student council, then she would know who Junko Hiruko is and would have an opinion of her.
Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more: Yukiko is a mischievous girl with absolutely no interest in being bound by rules or obligations. She is an avid prankster who gets her kicks by pulling harmless tricks and jokes on those around her. To most people, she seems like an irresponsible hooligan with no regard for anyone’s feelings but her own. And, to a certain extent, that assumption is correct. However, there is a much deeper reason behind her unruly behavior that no one outside her family has ever been told, and Yukiko intends to keep it that way. Despite her playful outer demeanor, she is actually very guarded emotionally, and doesn’t like discussing personal matters with anyone, even her own kin. She firmly believes that fear, sadness, and pain are only felt by the weak, and she refuses to be categorized as such. To put it bluntly, she is definitely not the type of girl to wear her heart on her sleeve. Because of her seemingly cold personality (as well as her looks and name), she has been given the nickname “Frostbite”. However, there is some good buried within that icy heart. She cares deeply for those who manage to get close enough to earn her trust (only one person has ever been successful in this), and will stop at nothing to protect them. She loves making people smile, and has been known to do things in ‘secret’ (like delivering flowers, bringing home lost pets, etc.) to make this happen (though she will never admit to it). She also adores children and animals, because she feels that their innocence is something to be protected (their innocence may also be the reason she trusts them over most others).
What does your character think of the Etoile position as a whole? She admires the girls who earn the position, but still believes the entire competition is a bit over-hyped.
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday? Yes (though she would never admit it).
What does your character think of Chokone Manatsu and Shizuka Myûzu, the current etoiles? She admires Chokone’s innocence, and feels that she’s the type of girl she could trust. She thinks Shizuka is very pretty, but that’s about as far as her opinion goes. She doesn’t really know either girl well enough to really pass judgment.
What does your character think of the other schools? She doesn’t care much for the rivalry between Spica and Miator (though she does enjoy the opportunity to play pranks on Miator students under the guise of school pride), and she loves the relaxed atmosphere of Lulim. Part of her wishes her parents had sent her there instead.
~History~
Please write in 100 words or more your character's history before she came to Spica.
The first few years of Yukiko’s life were fairly normal. She lived in a small house near the forest with her parents, Mitsune and Nagato, and her older siblings, Sasuke and Azami. Her parents were rarely home, as their jobs demanded most of their time and energy, so she was essentially raised by her siblings. She and Azami never really saw eye to eye (Azami was a very uptight, no-nonsense kind of girl, a stark contrast to Yukiko’s carefree personality), but when it came to Sasuke, it was an entirely different story. Sasuke was her best friend, her mentor, her partner in crime, and ultimately, her hero. The two were practically inseparable...until one fateful night. It was Christmas Eve, and a snowstorm raged violently outside. Sasuke had just left the house, claiming to have forgotten something very important at a friend’s place. The seven year old Yukiko waited impatiently by the window, worry and panic welling in her chest as the minutes turned into hours. It was then that they got the call. Sasuke would not be coming home...ever. Yukiko was devastated, and upon finding out exactly what it was that he had gone out to get, she fell into a deep state of self-hatred. Not a day went by that she didn’t blame herself for what happened to him. Even now, she still takes the blame. After her dear brother’s death, she closed herself off to the world. She hid behind the mask of a playful trickster in the hopes of concealing the pain in her heart. She swore to herself she would never allow another person to get that close to her again, for fear of losing them too. Worried for her emotional health, her parents sent her to Astraea Hill, hoping that her time there would allow her to heal her wounds and move on with her life.

Third Year: This was a big year for Yukiko. She made up with her distant cousin Yoru, after having shut her out due to the death of her brother. Atsuko was the first person (other than Yoru) that Yuki found herself able to really open up to, which has caused her to become much less emotionally rigid than she once was.

“Onii-chan, where are you going?” Yukiko’s soft blue eyes glittered with confusion and concern as she ran to the door. A tall boy stood before her, gazing back at her through emerald orbs. “I forgot something at Jun’s house. It’s really important that I get it back before tomorrow.” He ran a hand through his messy ivory hair, giving the younger girl a reassuring smile as he reached down to tousle hers. His sister pouted slightly at this, but it didn’t stop her from clinging to the sleeve of his blue hoodie. “But...The storm... Sasuke-kun...” “I’ll be fine, Yuki-chan. Don’t worry, okay? I’ll be back before you know it.” He leaned down and gave her a soft kiss on the forehead before pulling her into a warm embrace. “See you in a bit, sis. Love ya!” The door quietly clicked shut behind him. Yukiko watched nervously through the window as the car drove away. She couldn’t put a finger on it, but something just...didn’t feel right. Pulling a chair over to the window, she sat quietly, her nerves slowly building. With each passing minute, the knot in the pit of her stomach grew tighter. Eventually, minutes turned to hours, which left Yukiko’s nerves at their breaking point. She glanced nervously over her shoulder at the clock. He had been gone for three hours. No sooner than she had made the realization did the phone begin to ring. Her intense gaze focused on her mother as the older woman moved into the kitchen to answer the call. She could feel her heart nearly beating out of her chest. The suspense was agonizing. A deafening silence surrounded her, the only audible sound being the blood pumping in her ears. Moments later, it was broken by a heart-wrenching cry. Yukiko’s heart dropped into her stomach as she burst into the kitchen and rushed to her sobbing mother’s side. “Mommy, what is it?! What’s wrong?! What happened?!” Mitsune struggled to speak between sobs. “The..The...car...and...storm...accident...” Her words were choked and nearly impossible to understand, but Yukiko heard one thing crystal clear. “..Sasuke...” Upon hearing his name, the trembling girl crumbled to the ground, tears spilling unrelentingly down her pale cheeks. She clutched her head in her hands, panicked sobs ripping through her heaving chest. “N-No... No... It...It can’t be... NO... SASUKE...!!!!”
