Atsuko is passionate about the things she enjoys, including singing and dancing. She practices these everyday. She likes to be the center of attention, such as having solos in performances. She looks up to idols, and strives to become a person other people can look up to. Because of this she always tries her hardest and does her best. She's very competitive, and sees everyone as a rival. However, she's kind to everyone unless given a reason not to be. She's a very friendly girl, but is hard to become close friends with and is often seen spending her time alone. However, when she does become very good friends with someone, she holds them close to her heart. She doesn't mean to come of as distant or cold, but she sees the path to success as one she must travel alone. One day she hopes to find love, but it's not currently a priority. Her personal philosophy is to never give up - except at math, which is her worst subject in academics. But other than that, she's a very good student. Since she wants to be looked up to, she is never late. She also isn't very picky about her clothes, as long as they're cute. Things she dislikes include fish, either looking at it or eating it, and because of this she will only swim in pools. She also has a fear of dark places, although she is fine with the nighttime.
What does your character think of the Etoile position as a whole?
She once saw it as her ultimate goal while she was at the school - but then she lost the Etoile race against Maiko and Kagami, and her hopes were dashed. Now she's given up on the dream, and looks at the current position with mixed feelings of longing, loss, and respect.
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday?
Yes, very much so.
What does your character think of Chokone Manatsu and Shizuka Myuzu, the current etoiles?
She both respects them and looks up to them, and hopes one day to surpass them. She also finds their relationship admirable and somewhat envies it. She also thinks it's cute with how short Chokone is.
What does your character think of the other schools? With Miator and Spica being rivals, she sees anyone from Miator as being more of a fun rival, like they're in a competition. Other than that, she doesn't feel a paticular way about Lelim.
Please write in 100 words or more your characters history before she came to Spica.
Before coming to the school, she lived with her parents and two sisters. Since she was the middle child, she was always competing for her parents affection and attention. This helped to make her the person she is today. However, she still got along with everyone in her family and loved them very much. She used to be much sportier, playing tennis, feild hockey, and running track, but she dropped these activities to focus on dance, singing, and her schoolwork. As a result, she's greatly improved in all three of these categories, and she still has her athletic physique. She hadn't experienced any great loss or felt devestating sadness, and for the most part is innocent and optimistic
Third year: Atsuko met many friends, found the love of her life, Yukiko Kouri, and even ran for Etoile! Even though they lost, she wasn't upset because Maiko is a good friend of hers.
Fourth Year: Her fourth year went by easily. She became a bit depressed but her usual energy was quickly rejuvenated when she started going to idol practice with Ren and Himiko. Bright things look to be in their future!
Fifth Year: Nothing much happened in the idol-to-be's fifth year. She saw less of Yuki and became more of a loner.
Sample Post: Atsuko Watanabe was sitting on her bed draped in yellow sheets, looking at the rest of her bedroom. Several suitcases lined one wall, and the entire contents of her closet was hidden within them. Several things were missing from her desk, as well - a picture of her family, a seashell from their summer vacation to the beach last year, and several pieces of jewelry that had either been expensive or family heirlooms. These too, were packed away, even though she had decided to leave the majority of her possesions at home. The only other thing she was taking consisted of a medium sized purse, containing her cell phone, MP3 player, headphones, and a picture of a famous idol. The picture was her inspiration to keep going her her head high, even through the bad times. She looked at it whenever she felt troubled.
A soft knock came from the other side of her door. The blonde girl turned around, and saw her father in the doorway.
"Time to go kiddo," he said. "You don't want to miss your train."
Atsuko smiled cheerfully at him. "Yeah, you're right. Thanks, dad."
The girl could never imagine how much this move would change her life.
