Hey everyone! Since it's freezing cold out(I think) and we are getting a blizzard in my area, I'm going to kill time and sit here with my hot chocolate and tell you the story of the real Arceia.
No, not real as in a person. Real as in, she is a character from elsewhere in my creations. She is actually from my book series, which I don't know if you guys have found yet. Kohma.
So, here I will explain who she was before I migrated her to Astraea Hill, as well as provide a small sample of her from the books for you to see her.
Arceia was born in the middle of a rainy area, and her parents were killed by monsters before she was even old enough to walk. She was found as an infant by an orphanage that was gated and surrounded by thick walls, and spent six years there.
On her seventh birthday, she was adopted by a man named Zephyrus. While she was confused at first, she always smiled. Even when she was in the orphanage, she always smiled. She was introduced to two older sisters that day as well; Laolyth and Tariah.
She was warmly accepted by the family, and grew up for three years not knowing what they were up to. Zephyrus, as it turned out, was the commander of an army three countries in size, and also had the powers of a God. He was out to exterminate the Kohma bloodline; The bloodline he created by accident which was slowly but surely destroying the cycles of evolution.
Her sisters were also fighting. Laolyth was his tactician, and a masterful one at that, and Tariah was the field general for her own platoon. Arceia began to feel like there was something she would be needed for. After all, why else adopt a total stranger? And why specifically this one?
Her assumptions were correct, as she was soon administered the Skade virus. Which to those new to the story, is a virus that wildly mutates a person's mind and abilities beyond superhuman, but leaves the person with a physical need to torture and kill. They become masochists, enjoying pain, and they gain magical abilities.
The only person before her to get this virus was Raphael, the brother of the main protagonist, Dayton. Her body began to change and her magical aura started to form. She was slowly turning into a monster.
Her body was aged rapidly in order to handle the virus, so she was now nine years old in the body of a sixteen year old. Her hair changed from a jet black to a scarlet red, and she always seemed to smell of blood after. Zephyrus handed her a weapon; One of his old Reaper Scythes, and told her to go after June, who was the grand daughter of Dayton, and the current wielder of the sword Torrent, which was the only weapon capable of cutting through Zephyrus' armor.
This attack met with a long torture scene in which Arceia toyed with and flirted with June, bringing her within an inch of insanity, before June broke free and began attacking. The site of this battle was one of the second most important building to Zephyrus; The Tower, which acted as a shield for his home castle. Zephyrus saw that Arceia had gone mad with the power of the Skade virus, and killed Arceia. The Skade virus leaked into Torrent, effectively making it more powerful, and Arceia got to die as a normal child in her last moments.

So, I bet you guys see her in a little different light now huh? Here is a tiny bit of who she is, taken straight from the rough draft of the book. This came from book 3, when June was the character the story was following:
An excerpt from Retribution in which June, our main heroine, battles the youngest Sin Sister, Arceia. The soundtrack adds an element of power to the writing. I actually wrote this while listening to this song, which is why I include it in this note:

When the tower began to fall, June darted backward. It was easily at least a few kilometers away, but it was the debris she was worried about. The dust and chunks of earth or rock that would fly at her were more than enough of a reason to evade. So, with the opening of her wings, she took flight and escaped even faster. The real threat was about to begin.
"Silly girl. Running from a fight." Came the most innocent sounding voice she had ever heard. A red blur passed by her, skimming until just the edge of view. When it stopped, it took shape of a girl, dressed in all red and white, with red hair. She reeked of blood. June's eyes began to water from the bloody air, and she realized her eyes were playing tricks on her because of it, that's why she couldn't see the girl at first.
This was a tad different than most opponents she had faced. This girl had a distinct signature about her, as if her enemy was living within her soul. That enemy Zephyrusl, he had a very distinct signature. A signature that this girl matched.
"A Sin Sister, I see? And what's with all the blood themes?" She asked through short breaths. Her biggest problem here was the air, not the opponent.
"Call me Arceia. And you, little miss," She approached June, not a weapon in her hand, and kissed her on the lips. She was just a bit too close for June to not hold her breath. "You have my full attention. Shall we play a game?"
"You've got some weird kinks, Arceia." Replied June, readying a spell in her hand. "Too bad, too. You had potential until you joined up with a lunatic like Zephyrus."
Arceia, seeing the smoldering mass of energy in June's hand, was readying her own. She backed away, and blood dripped from her hands into the shape of a staff. That staff then glowed, and a blade formed at the end. The handle was almost totally invisible unless one traced the bloody outline.
"You know, taking a God's name in vain can get you smited. How convenient that I'm a tool of God. What a waste though. A pretty girl like you... We could've been so much."
"Don't flatter yourself. I don't date zombies, let alone people who spontaneously bleed."
"Suit yourself. Guest gets first serve," Said Arceia, waiting for June to release the ball of energy, "And do try to last at least five minutes. I want to look back and remember more than two returns."
June raised her hand, and from it came a swirling ball of purple. That purple then grew to encompass the both of them, utterly stopping the flow of time. The tower was frozen, as were the clouds of dust. Her tattoo shined from the back of her neck, and she gripped an unseen handle behind her. From that grip came Torrent, the greatsword that made this time stopping possible.
June was first to strike, dashing forward and ducking for a sweep. Arceia replied by lowering the blade of her scythe, which parried the sword and dug it into the ground. She had an immediate opening, and took it. While Torrent may have been stuck in the ground, June was by no means defenseless. She used the swords sturdiness while sticking in the ground to kick directly upward, kicking Arceia's hand and making her release the scythe.
Both of them were unarmed now. Arceia back-stepped, pressing one hand against the ground and using it to blast the ground with water. The dirt turned to mud, making ground combat extremely difficult. June retrieved Torrent though, now that the ground was loosened, and took to the air. From her left hand, she unleashed a fireball which would be used to distract rather than damage. Arceia dodged to the right, and directly into June's downward slash. With her boots, Arceia kicked up and knocked the blow away.
Hovering just a small bit out of the way, June was mostly unaffected. However, a sharp lightning bolt to the chest stunned her wings, forcing her to fall. The pain was dulled by the thickness of the plate armor under her dress. Her right arm was tingling as if she had laid down on it, and it hurt to move. Switching to her left, she made a swing horizontally, which Arceia ducked and sweep kicked from. June fell on her back.
"Is that all?" Asked Arceia, now holding her hand out with a glowing spark surrounding and flickering.
"I expected so much more."
"Two words," June said through scarce breaths, "Ignis Sanctus."
"You wouldn't... Not with the energy you have left!"
"I wouldn't. You're right. But saying that definitely stalled you while I thought of a plan." A smirk on June's face, she kicked straight up, making Arceia jump back, which gave her enough time to stand. Staggering, she raised one hand again, and from it came another glowing ball of purple energy. She took down the time barrier, and the tower began to fall again. Arceia, conveniently, had back-stepped directly under a large chunk of it that was coming at them.
With a loud crash, Arceia was buried in rubble.
"Heh... She actually thought I'd use Ignis Sanctus. Idiot."
Arceia, struggling, lifted herself up. Under the rubble, a bright light shined through cracks. The rubble dissolved in the lightning.
"Eh? Don't you ever die?" June asked, smirking.
"Hardly. It'll take more than a boulder."
"Alright. I'll just use this then." She flicked a knife from within her sleeve. Arceia side stepped it with ease, and barely looked tired.
"Shame," Began Arceia, "That you're opposing us. You could do so much for this world with that power."
"You mean this power?" June said, raising a hand to the sky. A blue light came around her, and then around Arceia. They were both in a solid white area now. no background, beginning, end or even present.
Arceia changed. She looked nine, with jet black hair and an innocent smile.
"You found me!" She said, reaching out a hand.
"Yeah, I did. Time to get you out of here." June took the girl's hand, and placed her on her shoulders. The light world faded, and Arceia was gone. The little girl, however, was with her.
"What happened to me, lady?" Asked the young Arceia.
"A bad man cursed you. e turned you into a monster. But I got rid of the monster."
"Enough!" Boomed a new voice. It rang out from seemingly nowhere, and yet surrounded those nearby. It drove itself deep into their hearts, and if one had any amount of intelligence, they would be frightened. Soon, a translucent ball of darkness swirled in front of them, and Arceia was relocated a few feet away.
From this darkness came four widespread black wings, followed by a dark, deep black armor. A man with long, jet dark hair stepped forth, directly in front of Arceia.
"My daughter, you've failed me.The penalty is death."
His hand darted through her chest, clutching a large red bag of flesh and blood. It was dropped behind her, and he man's scythe was picked up from the darkness behind him. Stabbing once, violently into her head, the scythe glowed an eerie red, then a bright, healthy green, and then nothing. The blade vibrated in satisfaction, and her expression still the same. There was no soul left. Nothing but a heap of flesh remained of the innocent little girl gone mad with power.
"My daughters mourn your death, as do I. Your power will not be forgotten, and you shall live on in your elder sister."
June, watching this, shook in horror. So that was Zephyrus That was her target? He was right there in front of her, and yet... She was too paralyzed with fear to attack. He gave her a glance, grinned, and vanished into another void.
She could have taken him on, right then and there.
"Damn it..." She muttered. Returning her blade to a concealed place, and allowing her wings to dissolve, June started away from the scene. One Sin Sister down, two to go, and then Zephyrus. But she wouldn't let the others end up like Arceia. She would save them next time.
This, she swore.
