Is your character on the Student Council? No
If yes, what does your character think of the student council president, Yasuko Matsui?
Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more: Coyote has always had a very happy-go-lucky attitude. The cheerful Canadian loves the outdoors and physical activity. These two factors lead many to the impression that she is not all that bright. Some would find her either too much of a jock, or too naive.
But she has a much sharper mind than people might think. She can very inquisitive, always seeking explanations for things she might not understand. And playing lots of fast paced team sports, Coyote is an excellent planner, especially when it comes to drawing up plays on the fly. She is also acutely aware of her surroundings and environment. Coyote can be very resourceful, with this kind of information.
She is a big time fan of comic books, especially Batman. One of her secret desires is to be a hero. She would love nothing more than to rush into a scene and save the day. Since getting bitten by a radioactive spider or finding a magic space ring at unlikely, she often daydreams about being a caped crusader. After all, who wouldn't want to be the World's Greatest Detective?
Coyote's cavalier attitude has landed her in a few hot spots in her life. She tends to tackle her problems head on...sometimes when they aren't even her problems. It would come to no one'd surprise if she found herself in over her head on more than one occaison. Not that that threat is something that would ever stop her from doing what she believes is right.
Being the super friendly young lady that she is, Coyote is always eager to make new friends. The only thing she loves more than sports is talking to people. She is always willing to walk right up to someone and start a conversation.
Extras:
-Coyote hates seeing people getting picked on. She'll always charge in to someone's defense, no matter who the aggressor is.
-When she can pick a number for her jersey, she always chooses 27 for the Detective Comics issue Batman first appeared in. It's serious business, after all.
What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole? It's a concept she finds very interesting. From a competitive standpoint, it seems like it could be fun
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday? Despite her opinion on the position, she doesn't have much of a desire to run, at the moment.
What does your character think of Sado Kagami and Kitsuki Sha, the current etoiles? Having obviously never met the current pair of Etoiles, she can only offer her opinions based on hearsay. And the two seem like very nice people. So naturally, she would like to meet them and have a nice long chat. She would probably find Sado to be something of a role-model and Kitsuki seems like she could be a lot of fun to be around.
What does your character think of the other schools? (Miator and Spica are Rivals, but it's up to you if your character feels anything like that toward the other schools.)
~History~
Please write in 100 words or more your character's history before she came to Spica.
History before Astraea Hill:
Coyote holds a dual citizenship to Japan and Canada. Her mother was born and raised on an Indian reservation just outside of Montreal. Working as a reporter for most of her life, she took a position that required her to move to Japan. Coyote doesn't remember much of her hometown, so is looking forward to visiting it, sometime.
Growing up, Coyote shared her mother's enthusiasm for hockey and curious nature. Thy would make time to follow their hometown team, the Canadiens, which translated to Coyote's own love for sports as she started to shift from spectator to player. Proving to be a promising prospect, the young Mohawk was recruited by St. Spica. Her mother, ever supportive, was behind the idea 100%.
Coyote's heading into her Second Year and looking to get more involved in sports. She's made a few friends and is, of course, looking to make more.
First Year: Coyote made some rather interesting friends. Between the Miator Student Council President and the older St. Spica, Karida Velazquez, she's been kept pretty busy. After learning more about Hikari, the Miator SCP, she's grown very concerned and protective of her new friend.
Second Year: Coyote's second year was a little rockier than her first. While she made a few more friends (including her new roommate Sara Albins), she spent a lot of time trying to get Karida out of the funk she had worked herself into. During the earthquake, she happened to be with Kari and their attempts at helping their fellow students had met with an early stumbling block that broke the older girl's arm. Needless to say, things could have gone better.
Later, she would come across Spica's SCP. The girl had been thrown from her horse and broke her leg. Once more, Coyote had to try and help mend a broken limb. At least there wasn't a building falling down around her, this time.
Things were less clear with her other SCP buddy, Hikari. The poor girl had been rather troubled and while she had always tried to look out for her, she couldn't prevent her disappearance from happening. Taking the news very hard, Coyote is initiating her own investigation. And with the help of Miator First Year Kiyoko Kobashigawa, Coyote managed to find a microSD card packed with information...all that remains is trying to make any sort of sense out of it. Hopefully, by using the training Karida had been offering her so far.
Third Year: In her Third Year, Coyote found her time to be spent running around campus in a rather ridiculous costume. Still determined to help as many people as she can, her school year was full of mystery and...romance?
It seems odd that such a thing would pop up on her radar. After all, asides from her endeavor to be a hero on campus, Coyote's interests seem to be locked solely on sports! Specifically hockey. But, when the Canadian took up the case of the mysterious sister of one Hiroko Takashina, things certainly took an unexpected turn. In finding that Hiroko was actually related to the Etoile, Maiko Suzumi, she unknowingly acquired the affections of the nervous Le Rim girl. At first, she did not pick on some of the (rather obvious) signs that Hiroko liked her. Or even the idea that ANYONE would like her.
But, after learning that her good friend was committed to an arranged marriage that she did not want to partake in, Coyote had to confide in Maiko. And that was when she first learned of those affections. And...realized that she had feelings of her own for the bluenette.
Will Coyote be able to confess her feelings and put a stop to the Suzumi family's tradition? Tune in for Coyote's Fourth Year! Same Coyote Time...Same Coyote Channel!
Fourth Year: As far as years went, Coyote would mark her fourth as being rather incredible. It certainly did lack for any sort of events. Above all else, she was finally able to confess her feelings to Hiroko. At the suggestion of Maiko, the object of her affection's sister and former Etoile, she did have to wait. The matter of Hiroko's impending marriage to an unscrupulous fellow who was only interested in the status and wealth of the Suzumi family.
With the help of Maiko and the Suzumi Grandmother, Coyote was able to lay a trap for the would-be husband. And with the evidence collected, she was able to bring the arrangement to an abrupt end. All that remained was for the Canadian to finally have a sit down with Hiroko and have a good long talk. Which she did. In an old bunker, of all places. Word of Coyote and Hiroko's relationship spread quite quickly. The shy blue haired Le Rim girl and the knightly, scar-faced Spica would also campaign for Etoile. Hiroko was a Suzumi, after all. And Suzumis had a tendency to run for such a position.
Now entering her Fifth Year...Coyote has become Etoile?
Fifth Year: N/A
Sixth Year: N/A
Sample Post:
"They have hockey?!" Coyote couldn't help but yell. She had been practicing on iced over ponds for a while now and even managed to make a small team. Her current school didn't have a team which was a real disappointment. And somehow, she managed to get noticed.
Coyote wasn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth. If she could have, she would have moved in right then there. But schools had things like "applications" and "procedures". Not to mention other tiny little details like organizing rooms.
So, maybe the Canadian should have slowed things down a little bit. She wasn't winning gold medals for her homeland just yet. She would still have to actually make the St. Spica team, after all. Oh...and actually get accepted. That would help, too.
