Hair color: Black
Hair style: Short hair with long bangs barely reaching her shoulders
Eye color: Teal
Height: 5'3

Personality: Minako is a very pretty and very small girl, and her personality reflects that pretty well. She is very quiet and keeps to herself, tending not to interact with much of the student body. Her classmates have given her the nickname "Silent Girl" because she rarely speaks, rather, she uses signals such as nods, or points to what she wants.
Minako is extremely courteous to those around her, rarely thinking about herself, and will often give her own items to help out a classmate, but, because of her unusually silent nature, she has kept very few friends. She can be very outgoing, and gets excited very easily, having never really been to a wealthy area before, but she'll never start an interaction with other people. She also practices archery and swims very well, which is why she joined Spica, but has yet to be able to make it onto Spica's swim team because of her seemingly introverted nature.
Given her families history, Minako is very independent, largely taking care of herself in the small apartment outside of school her aunt rented out for her to live in. When she's not in school, she works in a local bakery, making all sorts of pastries and desserts for the shop.
View of the Etoiles: Minako isn't very familiar with either of the Etoiles, not involving herself too much in the other activities the school has to offer such as clubs.
View of other schools: She doesn't really care about the other two schools, focusing more on whats at hand
History: Minako is the youngest of two sisters who's family makes a small living off the coast fishing and selling their catch. She grew up with less necessities than her other classmates in elementary school, as most of her parent's devotion and time went to her older sister, Yukino. She, however, never held her parents or her sister in any kind of contempt, actually idolizing her older sibling, as they would as hang out and do things together, creating a very close bond between the two. This made it harder to say goodbye when her parents sent Yukino off to college in the U.S., having been accepted to one of many prestigious schools there.
While she lived with her parents, Minako would always do her best to make life easier on her parents, doing chores, going grocery shopping, and doing her best in school, often juggling between home life and school life, without much in between. Much of this went unrecognized, as her parents concentrated more on her sister's success than of her own. This, however, did not mean she was neglected, as her parents took care of the younger girl as much as they could, but would always put her second. In school, Minako would be the third or 4th of her class, unable to reach the bar her sister had set years and years before.
Because of her sister's diligence, she was able to get a full-ride scholarship in a university in the U.S., which allowed Minako's parents to spend the saved-up college fund on her education, sending her to Astraea Hill. Her aunt works nearby and was able to find and rent a small apartment for her to live in while she went there, finding it cheaper than staying in the well furnished dorms of Astraea Hill.
The lack of resources Minako had in her younger years has resulted in her amazing ability to be independent, self-sufficient, and self-motivating. Most of her clothes are hand-me-downs from her sister, which are slightly big on her. She owns very few materialistic items except for a locket given to her by her sister before she left for college. The financial status of her parents also is why the girl tends to get excited over everything most people tend to think is common, and she has an almost unhealthy fascination for fancy clothing, such as formal dresses, where she would spend hours in a store looking at them.
Sample post: Minako had just finished grocery shopping and was on her way home before spotting a beautiful dress in the window of a formal clothing shop. She dropped the two heavy bags full of ingredients and food and walked up to the window, taking in the regality of the dress The long purple and black dressed appealed greatly to her fascination with formal gowns, and she was secretly saving up a good portion of her paycheck so she could buy one.
The black-haired girl eventually pried herself from the window and picked up the two bags with some struggle before heading back to her apartment near Astraea Hill. She hummed happily to herself, wondering what her sister was doing in the U.S. as she reached the gate to her complex. As she took out the key to open the gate, one of the heavy bags broke, spilling the items all over the ground. Minako slapped her hand to her forehead and sighed, taking off her baggy shirt to scoop up the items, revealing a white tank top that seemed a little small for her. Eventually she made it inside of her complex, storing the items neatly in their associated areas in the kitchen area of the apartment.
Her living area was very plain, with only 2 rooms and a single bathroom, and very few furnishings. She had a bed, bedside table, and a small desk with a lamp in her room. Out in the living room was a wooden table with 4 chairs by the wall and a bookcase filled with old textbooks and classical novels. The room was also connected to the kitchen, which was only separated by the change from wooden to tile flooring.
Minako looked around the apartment complex with an approving smile before going to her room to work on some homework. She sat at the desk and turned on the old lamp which barely lit the room up, casting dark and large shadows all over the walls. Taking out her backpack, she began to study for the next day's math test, with thoughts of her sister in the back of her mind.
