Personality: Careful and shy, Akari may come off as a little keep to herself, but around people she is familiar with she can be happy and energetic. She is positive and thoughtful, but quiet about her personal life away from school.
Akari has a lot of motivation, and will always give her all when it comes to school work and friendships. Friends are one thing she has never really known, and hopefully a new year marks a new start to some friendships.
History: Akari was born like anyone else; a mother and father who loved each other and their child with all they had. But a tragic accident took her mother away when she was only 11. Devastation hit Akari hard, and the once happy and spirited girl changed. Changed completely. She was quiet towards everyone and spent most of her time alone. She wouldn't talk with anyone or go anywhere. She seemed hopeless.
Her father couldn't care for her very well by himself, and thought it was best to enroll her in Miator. An all girls school might provide her friends and religious help. He was at his last idea, and this was it. So with no choice of hers, Akari went.
When she first arrived, she didn't want to make any friends. She stayed quiet on purpose and avoided people as much as she could. But as the years go by, she finds herself lonelier and lonelier... Now she realizes all she needs is a friend; simply that. But who could understand a loss like hers?
Roleplay Sample: Finally, it was a warmer day. Spring was nearing and the snow had all melted away, but one place winter would always linger was in the Cherry Tree Glen. The wind would pass by and bring cold air, making it a place not many liked to visit in the winter. But as spring came, and the trees started to bud, it would be a beautiful sight that many girls would never want to miss. And Akari was one of them.
But today, she came too early. It wasn't spring and it wasn't winter, it was almost in between. But she hoped just maybe the trees would bloom and she would be the first one to see. She was wrong though. They were still bare trees in a barely green hillside.
Akari sat under one of the trees in the middle of the glen. She wouldn't go to her dorm, there was nothing to do there, and she didn't want to stay here, it was cold and windy. But she decided against everything and just sat against one of the trees farthest from the other ones. She knew how it felt to be far away from others...just like this tree. And she knew it was weird to sympathize with a tree, but for some reason this cold made her feel more alone today than the other days. It was months into the school year and she hadn't made a friend yet. It was as if everyone was taken by somebody else or no one had the time of day for a simple little shy girl like her. How could she possibly fit it?
Her thoughts stopped rambling into the sadness as she heard a ruffling nearby. It wasn't the wind ruffling the trees, someone must have been there.
"H-hello?" Akari asked, scanning her blue eyes over the hills. She pulled her knees up to her chest and clung to them. Whoever was there, she wasn't prepared for their arrival.
