PLOT A call to Devil May Cry one day had Trish and Lady investigating a demon group while Dante was busy watching the shop(and spending the last of the day's earnings on pizza). There was little to be seen there, save the occasional demon here and there. One such demon went by the name of Pisces. She was rather intelligent and much calmer than the others of the pack, and explained that she attacked the human world for very much the same reason that Devil May Cry fights demons. Humans had been toying with their world too much. Arkham, Agnus, and various other attempts to steal demonic power had her irritated, but she would speak with Trish about it. A fight broke out, where Trish and Lady easily defeated Pisces. However, before Pisces would be finished off, with the last of her energy she retreated to the demon world. Returning home to find they were once against short on cash, the ladies chastised Dante before joining him in his pizza meal. Nero, the least likely person to confront them, made his way into the building. He spoke of a group of people "like he and Dante" that had him puzzled on action. Dante and Nero set out to meet this group. The group turned out to be less of a group and more of a convenient settlement in close proximity to one another. These were not half demons in the sense that Dante was, however; they were like Nero, and had made contracts with demons for power for whatever reason. Where Nero contracted demonic power from Yamato, and thus Vergil, to protect Kyrie, their actions were diverse and for all manner of selfish and selfless things. As it turned out, Pisces was so weak because her power was spread into these individuals, as she was a demon broker; making contracts to gain power. So, our heroes are faced with the call of killing off these individuals to finally finish off Pisces, or allowing them to live and possibly finding them useful. Some will fight. Some will run. Some may even try to join them, for they are not so different. It will play out as they see fit. BASIC RULES If you play one of the half demons, have a DT as well, please. Even if you don't fight. If you play a human, remember the limitations of the human body when posting. ALL SPRP rules about posting apply here. Full demons are not exactly the best idea, as it's easy to godmod with them. The norm for power here is about equal or slightly lesser to Dante's power. Keep that in mind. First post should give us a little insight on your character. Just a quick appearance(links are acceptable, just OOC them), weapon, and reason for being involved, etc. (If half demon, this is a good place to explain why you made the contract.) Other than that, the plot is yours to create, so have fun! INTRO POST Quiet as always, or so it seemed. It had been a few days since that Nero kid had come by, and she was kind of wondering what happened to him. After all, he was the first person she knew that was like her. Then again, why should she really care? So there's another half demon running around. All that meant was there was somebody out there who might be able to fight her. Ah well. Not like he was really like her, anyway. Sure, they were both somehow connected to demons, but there's no way he could possibly understand killing your little brother to spare him the agony he was in. There was no way he could understand that becoming a demon was all to survive. But that was a long time ago, and she was past that. No more fretting. No more blaming herself. This demon power wasn't so bad, and Hell, she learned how to fight because of it, so why not? Strictly fist fighting, though. Right now she was unarmed, but she liked it that way. So, what exactly was such a sad sack of a girl doing hanging out in a city she didn't know was populated by people just like her? Well, for one, she was tracking down this thing called Beowulf she had heard about, that was supposedly very powerful. For another, she was born three towns away in the suburbs of the city. Now, she was transporting a sword outside of her home city to somewhere else. Somewhere called Seven Sins, close to the area near the Hell Gate that was destroyed a short time ago. Why did she take the job? Well, she kind of wanted to go see what other kinds of people were out there. Maybe more people like her existed in this world. So without further ado, Ashley made her way outside her house and onto the city streets, the large box on her back holding the sword she came to know was called Astaroth. ((Too lazy to type a description, so here: Ashley~))

((Not sure how to fit this or if this is what you wanted, but I'm going to use what I can remember from Kitsuki's history. It's a scene involving Dante. Let's make him an npc playable by both of us. Soooo I'm going to set up a little ditty here.)) Setting All right, so I take it Ashely is hanging out in the street. I'm going to make it dark, and down the road from her within earshot is a cathedral that seems empty. -Btw Kitsuki appears to be a large breasted brunette in human form and a nude goat legged/horned redhead as a demon. Your character can rush into the cathedral during these events, or witness them...or miss the whole thing. Whatevs haha. Post There was a quiet weeping that echoed off the dark walls of the cathedral. And while the tall buttresses reached toward heaven, the shadows crawled with the spirits and voices of hell. A small girl, with her arms bound behind her wept on her knees, tied in the center of an intricate pentagram. "Why are you doing this to me?" She cried, voice falling on deaf ears. "What did I do?" bright blue eyes gazed sadly around. A sinister voice answered, but not to her. "Kill her Dante." The handsome man in the red coat was standing in the shadows by the door, arms crossed and foot tapping. "You hired me to kill a demon. All I see is a tied up broad." "I hired you to kill her, so kill the B*tch." The sinister voice trembled and warped into something more insidious, but only a moment, then returned to its grueling bass. It's source stepped from the shadows beyond the pews. An older gentleman with graying hair in a Reverend garb emerged, eyes glowing a malicious red. Dante uncrossed his arms and stepped forward. Just then the girl in the circle screamed, the symbols and lines around her glistening with an unnatural light. "Kill her!" Screamed the Priest. The girl continued to scream, doubling over as the skin on her back split, her blood splattering the walls, her dress tore and fell away. Red wings stretched forth, yellow horns curled from her scalp, her brown hair staining red. Thigh high socks tore under coarse fur and hooves replaced dainty feet, until there lay a naked demon girl, sobbing, new tail curled around her shivering form. "Do it NOW SON OF SPARTA!" Instead the white-haired man ran for the priest, tossing his jacket over the shivering demon as he leaped for the older man, Rebellion raised overhead. The man caught the blade with a claw, as he mutated into a grotesque beast himself. Half his body tore into a tentacle that broke through the pews and lashed, his face melted into a half-face of eye and beak. It screamed and reached for Dante. He jumped back, retrieving the demon girl, running along the wall and firing with ebony until he dropped her in the balcony overlooking the pews. He shot with both guns, leaping over the creature, body stiff and upside down, sailing over the creature firing in circles. For the girl under the coat, it was all over in a few minutes. The creature screamed, and more blood covered the cathedral until it looked as if a massacre had occurred. There was no dry surface but that beneath the coat, and even that was soaked with her own blood. The son of Sparta took the girl outside, puzzled by the girl, for he did not sense evil intent, however a more familiar demonic aura. However he could not seem to put his finger on it's exact source. her yellow eyes gazed at her savior with such innocence. He could not bring himself to kill her as the demonic priest has wished. Yet he had to wonder WHY had he wanted her dead? A new scent caught his attention. There was another nearby. "Sorry little lady," she said, taking back his coat, revealing the now unconscious demon girl. "But I didn't sign up for this." And he disappeared over the cathedral, though whether he truly left her, or merely made his exit to watch the next events would never be decided. Kitsuki, the demon girl lay bloody upon the cathedral steps beneath the starlit sky. One could now get a good look at her. The blue and white fur on her legs ended right where thigh-high socks would, similar fur decorated her sides and breasts, unconnected to furn that covered her shoulders and down her arms like gloves. In all the fur looked like a seductively placed costume, covering and accenting here and there. The red tail with it's spade at the tip curled around her thighs, wings lip and stretched behind her. The horns on her head curled forward like a rams their points on her cheeks, which were stained with the tears that no longer fell. But her expression was troubled. She would not know what was waiting for her when she woke.

((Perfect. I'm eventually gonna have a post layout or somethin'.))
So her job was simple. Drop off Astaroth, and come back. Thing was, she was headed right into unfamiliar territory, and with the demons roaming around every so often, it was really hard to think the road was gonna be easy. The good news was, the road wouldn't be easy. She could go for a bit of violence right about now, since this stupid luggage weighed a ton.
And so, she set it down, and sat on the case as if she didn't really care what condition the sword was in. Maybe it was her imagination, but she felt like staying here was a good idea for at least a few minutes. And in those few minutes, she heard gunfire, and decided it was her business for the Hell of it now. What else was she going to do on her break?
She entered the area of the gunfire and saw a demon girl, passed out. Ordinarily she would have laughed her bottom off at the site of the high and mighty demon being weak... Actually, she did that anyway. But after that, she realized this girl wasn't really doing too hot right now. And there was some blood left behind near the entance to a larger building. Cathederal? Maybe, she didn;t know the area very well.
"It's your lucky day, little lady." said Ashley, sitting down and waiting for the girl to wake up. Her gaze never left the case she left on the other side of the street. In fact, every so often when something got close, she jumped up and stood in front of it, smiling, and whatever it was either got the hint, or got a punch in the gut and a kick into the sky.
This went on for several minutes, before Ashley got bored and started pacing.

Soon she stirred, the hard of hooves scraping the stone steps. It was an odd sound that starled the girl, who shot up covering her chest with her arms. Wide yellow eyes darting around her new body in shock and surprise.
"Wh-what happened to me?" She began to cry again, the last word coming out in waves (me-he-he-heee) as she broke it with sobs. "I'm a monster-her-her-herrrr," she cried, shaking her head and scratching the fur on her arms violently; red hair flying this way and that, wings tense and curled at her back. Then she noticed her curling horns, her hands pulling them to feel the definate connection to her own skull, and she erupted into blubbering. Wordless cries sorrow and confustion. Surely the other girl would slap her, or at least stare dumbstruck that a demon would act this way. The girl's sobs however did calm, and she lay like a damsel on one arm, the other curled in a dainty fist held at her lips. She didn't dare stand, but instead gazed at the other girl, fear visible in her eyes. Who was she? What did she think of her? Could she help her? Finally she threm her arm dramatically to cover her face in the steps. "Don't look at me!" Then she sighed, as if about to cry again. Her elongated feet moved, hooves scraping again and tail swinging. Kitsuki was at a loss.

The Hell was wrong with this girl? Sure, she was a demon, but then, she'd never seen a demon cry before. This was both hilarious and sad at the same time. Ashley decided that laughing about it to the girl's face would do any good to figure out where the gunshot came from, so she shrugged to herself and decided, why not, let's talk to the psycho.
"Look, turning my back, see?" she said with a rolling sarcasm, hands in the air to show she was unarmed. Then again, she was always unarmed. "I'm just passing through and little old you was asleep in the road. So I did you the liberty of sitting on my bottom so nobody came by to beat yours to a pulp."
Astaroth, right. She was still looking at it, even at this angle. Whoever wanted it sure picked an odd route, if this is the kind of thing that happens here.
"Why were you layin' here dying right after I heard a gun go off?"
Right to the point. No need for the silly taunting games here when the joke was being made every second she held her hands up like this and stared away from the demon. Come to think of it, she wasn't exactly a demon hunter or anything, but she had never seen a demon that was worried about its appearance, let alone one that cried. On top of all of that, there was no gun to be found. Somebody must have been shooting at her, meaning she was being hunted by a demon hunter, or she was legitimately attacking something and somebody was defending themself.
Then again, why the Hell would she even care, really? Once she got the information, she'd leave. After all, she had better things to do than babysit some crybaby demon. And, if nothing else, saying crybaby demon made her feel a little bit like laughing until she died.

"I wasn't dying, I don't think..." She choked out, "He shot him, there was a monster, the priest. The man in the red coat killed it. I can't remember what happened next." Yellow eyes traveled wearily to the door of the cathedral which hang half open eerily as it hung slack from one hinge. Thick red syrup of blood and demon entrail dripped with putrencence down the cracked mahogany; the shadows beyond darker than dark should be, as if the evil yet lingered within the hallowed walls.
The demon girl looked around, eyes watering, hugging herself as if with cold. "The man is gone." she said simply, refrerring to the man in red who saved her life and witnessed her change. However she couldn't bring herself to tell of her non-demon form or her transformation. The way the woman mocked her made her question herself a bit.
"I...don't know what happened to me...I'm human..." it was a wimper, a sorry sounding plea of a once known truth. "I was...human.." she sniffled, quiet weeping now as she hugged herself tigher in misery. As if her own arms belongs to that of a mother's embrace. Then she released herself and struggled to stand.
Yellow hooves scraped again, then clicked as she put her weight on them. Unknowingly her wings spread and her tail stiffened for balance as she came to all fours, then slowly shifted her weight back on new legs before she fully stood and looked down at herself. She felt nude, but the fur covered her. She took a deep breath, as if to accept herself, but then the form melted away. She shrank down two feet in height, to a human height, hooves turning back to toes, red hair back to brown, yellow eyes to a sleepy blue.
Kitsuki the human girl stood before the woman. "What? I...don't understand..." she said to herself, only to cover herself with her arms again. Like a child she threw herself at the girl, clutching onto her clothing and hiding her face as confused tears poured oer her cheeks. "What happened to me?"

Huh, so she was like her as well. That Nero kid wasn't lying when he said a few of them were around. Now, the questions she asked herself was, if this Nero kid was here to kill demons, why didn't he kill them yet? Which she would have continued puzzling herself about, had the girl not grabbed Ashley and cried on her.
"Uh... This isn't my specialty, lady. You have any family or something we can bring you to?"
Of course, somebody this emotional who thought they were human probably would be better off NOT knowing the whole story about themselves. Then again, she was kind of confused, didn't one usually have to make a deal with a demon to become one? An yet this girl had no idea. But this wasn't really her problem, she just had to bring Astaroth to Seven Sins.
"Tell you what, lady. I'll bring you home if you can point me toward a place called Seven Sins, or at least toward someone who might know where it is. Deal? And I'll even throw in a bonus; I won't tell anyone what I just saw, alright?"
Of course, Ashley was a demon as well. Well, a half demon. But she wasn't about to Devil Trigger just to make this girl feel better about herself, and risk getting herself attacked in the middle of the city.
