Not replying to more than what is asked for she is a mystery to many though people rarely realize that they know quite little of her when she actually knows a lot about them. As a teacher people usually just think of it as normal that she hide her personal affairs and private life but to even know if Ritsuko at all has any friends is always hard to tell.
Ritsuko knows how to not push herself on people normally but when it comes to flirting she knows her limits though still pushes it too far, quite often. – This is though only when it comes to flirting and she has an eye for the cute girls that are easier to toy with. Her daily basis flirting is rarely connected to anything serious and as soon as you know her it simply becomes a natural that she winks and sends off flirtatious comments. Still it happens that she finds a current obsession, which is her pray for a certain amount of time and receives her full attention. But these obsessions fades before Ritsuko crosses the line where she thinks it’s getting too serious and she simply breaks off what she had with that person to move on to someone else. A heartbreaker was what she had become, ignoring the girls that had been in her eyes’ silent pleas for their time together to expand.
History:
Sample post:
Standing leant against the wall in her dorm a blonde haired woman clung to her phone in silence, pressing it against her ear. The knuckles on her hands had turned white at her hard grip that even made her hands tremble slightly. Scanning the girl’s appearance further up it was obvious that the girl was crying with her lips pursed tightly together as if trying to cry silently. Golden eyes were read and weary with dark bags framing her lack of sleep. The girl’s hair was hanging loose down her sides, looking more dishevelled than usual and hiding most of the student’s face. Clinging to the girl’s curvy body was a loosely attached bathrobe that looked like it would slid down the girl’s features any moment, exposing the lingerie underneath.
A small voice could be heard coming from her phone while small accepting and understanding sounds left Ritsuko’s closed lips. After a while the sixth year opened her mouth and gave a singly reply to the voice on the other end as the phone call had come to an end. “Yes. Take care mother…” This was soon followed by a beeping sound on the other end before the blonde girl threw her phone away as if holding it had burnt her hand. She seemed not to care if the phone broke as it hit the wall on the other end of the room, such matters she would worry about later. Burying her face in her hands the girl sank to the ground finally letting out the tears she had tried to suppress freely.

History:
Before coming to Astraea:
Ritsuko was born and also grew up in Japan with American and European genes that gave her a western look. Still both her parents had been living in Japan for a long time and their immigrant ancestors had in time grown into traditional Japanese people and passed the culture on to the next generation. She grew up in Kyoto, giving her a special Japanese accent. Aside from this, her family was normal, loving, cosy and lived in a bakery. All friends that would play at her house after being in the kindergarten or finishing school would always give compliments on how lovely her house and family was and of course give a comment about the delicious cakes they could get when finishing dinner.
Ritsuko had a little brother named Ryou, that in truth was only two years younger than her, but in his head he would never pass the age of seven. He was still, despite his ever childish behaviour a clever and kind boy that never gave his family too much trouble. He would instead liven up the house at any time and make the place cheerful and filled with young naivety.
The young girl had always been aware of the fact that her father Kazuya was a weak man, and very dependent on her mother, the French beauty Amélie. She was the opposite of him; a strong woman that never backed away from a challenge. Amélie always seemed to know what to do in bad times and used to be as punctual as a person could be. The two parents had fallen in love in a young age and helped each other. Amélie had been too much of a perfectionist, while Kazuya was dowdy. Together they helped fourth each other, but their personalities would remain the same.
Still the oldest child in the house didn’t notice this fact too much before her mother fell ill and ended up in a coma, leaving a nine years old girl to take care of the family. It was first then that she realized how weak her father was and the fact that he was not at all capable of taking care of a family on his own. He didn’t seem to see his two children anymore and locked himself inside a room on the second floor. It didn’t take long for him to enter a state of deep depression where he didn’t see anything but darkness around him. Ritsuko would then every day bring him food and something to drink that she was sure he wouldn’t have managed to get on his own.
But little miss Kanada had in every way gotten her mother’s strong nature and ability of caring. She would simply do what her photographic memory remembered her mother used to do and do the same as well as a girl on her age could. Still she didn’t manage to do it all, and had to skip a lot of school. That is were her habit of skipping school found it’s place as that had been one of the most wrong things you could do, but in time this became quite normal to the nine years old.
At first Ritsuko struggled a lot and was quite helpless when it came to paying bills and working mostly alone in the bakery. Still with good help of her little brother, she found her routines and became a mature child-adult in a matter of time. No one would ever notice the changes, as Ritsuko’s parents always used to work in the kitchen and were rarely seen. Her father would seem to wake up a little every now and then and come down to greet a few people that knew his wife was in coma, but none seemed to suspect that he was not the one in charge of the family.
It all lasted for six years, six years that took Ritsuko’s childhood away from her and replaced it with the life of a grown up person. Still the family couldn’t have been happier when Amélie woke up and came back to the them, making everything go back to normal. Everything was just as it had used to be. Ryou was as always a little child that understood quite little and Kazuya pretended the six years of depression had never happened. But the changes Ritsuko had to deal with were huge and difficult for the fifteen years old girl to handle. Her life would never be as it had used to be.
Present love life:
Beside her family, Ritsuko had little time for friends and had distanced herself somewhat from the close friends she once had. They would still stick up for her, talk to her and eat lunch with her, but they were still not at all as close as they had used to be.
The young golden haired student had also fallen in love several time trough the years and the first time it happened she was twelve years old. She fell for her elder and beautiful onee-sama that was not just her idol, but also the idol of the whole school. Still the unbelievable thing happened, her onee-sama was interested in her as well. They became friends and for a long time would mostly just be together the two of them. But in truth, the school idol had just been using the younger girl, giving her false hopes before crushing them in the most heartbreaking way.
Still after months of crying herself to sleep before facing a new day filled with work, she was ready for love once again. This time though, her love was unrequited from the start and instead of having all the pain given to her at once, she had to endure seeing her love almost every day with another person. She would sometimes follow the girl and her boyfriend too. Just to see if the day where they broke up would finally come and give her a chance. But as soon as the girl found out about her stalking habits she confronted her angrily and even slapped Ritsuko when she ended up confessing to her senpai.
The line of people that Ritsuko fell for after this would never go any better and when she thought she would never find her true love a mysterious dark haired girl entered her life. She was differently from the others younger than the now fourteen years old Ritsuko and was a truly cute and innocent girl. She would every day brighten up the older girl’s world and showed her the magical childhood she wanted to have. Ritsuko even got into her first real relationship and got her first real kiss. But also this happiness would end abruptly for the girl, as her love one day told her that they should go back to being friends again. This was only the time in life where people on their age would get together with girls, but eventually end up with men, she told Ritsuko. It wasn’t real, she had said, it was just a game girl’s used to play. Just a game.
She had never been in love. Kanada Ritsuko had never been in love with any person and would never be.
That was how her castle of love fell to the ground. Love was only a game; that she would continue to play. But she would always be aware of the fact that it was all just a game. Love was only an illusion. She had seen it herself, felt it as well. How you always end up suffering because of so called love. To Kanada Ritsuko, there’s no such thing a true love. Yes you can care, take care of people and treat them well. But there’s no such thing as real love. Not to Kanada Ritsuko. Her years at Astraea:
Finally getting to transfer to the school of her life St. Miator in an age of sixteen, Ritsuko’s year didn’t start that well, as she was the only student that had to live in a room by herself. She had been the only transfer student that year and everyone else were already having a roommate. Still she chose to ignore the fact, and little by little she grew to like the school she had started attending do. In a short amount of time she became a queen of flirting and just then realized her own beauty. Ritsuko’s life had a huge turning point at that time that would change the girl’s way of acting.
Finishing the first year at St. Miator, Kanada Ritsuko seemed to have fully found herself. She knew that everything was all right at home, and for the first time in her life she was allowed to live and do as she wished. Through this year she was more of a loner with friends. There was rarely a time where she sat alone but she had never anyone to truly call close friends. Somehow the girl liked this to be alone but still together with someone at the same time. But still through time she would feel the loneliness grow in her heart as her fifth year came to an end.
Her sixth and second year didn’t bring much difference. Meeting some new girls didn’t seem to change much within the girl. But she started to become aware of some people that she hadn’t before. Instead of simply ignoring most people around her and simply help and be an “older sister” to those who needed, she got her eyes up for what she found right and wrong at the school. She became what you could call it more politically active when it came to the school and its social status and rights to the students. Thus she decided to fight for what she believed was fair to the students and became determined to once get rid of the Etoile competition, thinking this was a stupid way of making popular girls even more popular. Following the current Etoile she felt her anger for how upper class the girl acted and how Ritsuko liked to think she thought better of herself than others. Snobbish and stupid was all Ritsuko could describe this and set a goal to work towards at the end of the year: to make the differences between popular and not popular as small as possible, thus get rid of the Etoile competition.
