Shed left her hair in a simple tight pony one that held to her back. A long sleeve black shirt was held to her figure with all three buttons undone a pink vested hoodie was thrown on. White jeans complemented black ankle boots as she road down the street her moter bike humming as she turned onto the manors drive way. Shed told her self shed do her best at this test as to show that her love was true. After all if you acted like you didn't care not only would it hurt the other person but hurt the chances to be taken seriously about your own feelings.

So not only was she going to be picking up a maid from Alices home but she was going to take her out. She decided the zoo was a nice place and the weather had turned out well today. She actually didn't get the name of said maid but for Jessie it didn't matter no matter who it was she was going to truly give it her all and show this girl a good time. Not only for the test but she figured these maids didn't get to do much. They seemed to work hard; so play other then what Alice thought was play was probably not the highest on the list for them. Besides who knows Jessie might actually make a friend. Hair flung side to side as she road up the road much like a whip, shed have to male note of that so not to end up hitting the maid in the face. Slowing down she chucked the stand out and got off heals hitting the pavement she winced , for her ankle wasn't fully healed but in the tight boot it would fair just fine if they took there time to look around. It was pretty much healed so Jessie didn't worry much.

As she walked up to the manor she noticed a figure standing patiently for her, was that...charlotte, it was hard to tell. Getting closer she paused, if this was a real first date Jessie knew shed probably do something cheesy..so on her way she took hold of a flower on the path she go to the girl and smiled . " sorry I didn't mean to be late.."

Holding out the flower she managed to hold back her usual blush. Even if Alice was her girl friend doing acts like this for anyone usually brought a blush to her face, she was still a shy soul after all.

The information came a a shock to the timid head maid early that morning. She had been the one selected to spend time with her young snowy mistress's girlfriend. Her. Out of all the other staff or even young males the family knew. Sometimes the adult figures of the Himeno baffled her as much as her young mistress.

Charlotte found herself fidgeting with the edge of her petticoat as she stood outside of the glorious white manor. The fabric was starting to get crumpled, and she constantly had to remind herself to stop once she realized what she was doing, but she couldn't help it. She barely wore anything other than her proper maid attire and never was asked out of the manor for anything unless it was to run a special errand, yet even that was highly rare. A black dress sporting a black pinafore and a white petticoat clothed the maid while a pair of black slightly-heeled shoes covered her feet. The skirt ended below her knees, yet she still wore a pair of long white stockings underneath to conserve for modesty. Her thin body swayed like a sunflower in the gentle breeze, looking as if a simple gust a tad too strong would blow her completely over.

Golden eyes soon caught sight of someone approaching and she hurried to correct her posture, even bowing out if habit. Why was she such a mess! Closing her eyes, she didn't open them again until she heard a voice projecting an apology. She gave a brief nervous giggle, keeping her head still bowed.

"A-Ah ah ha, eet eez okay, Madame." (It is okay, ma'am)

Ah! No, that wasn't right! She couldn't think straight so her words had jumbled out in English and in a very heavy French accent that she had trained herself to pull away from. Glancing up, she noticed the flower that had been offered and was helpless to a faint blush that washed over her face. She took it almost hesitantly - curious as to if she even should - then immediately dropped into another flustered bow.

"Merci beaucoup, Madame." (Thank you, ma'am) Her French words were rushed in her flustered state.

Straightening from her bow, she stood unconsciously with her hands clasped in front of her with the flower in hand, much like how she stood while on duty. She was quiet for a moment before switching to Japanese to shyly let out a, "Sh-Shall we go?"

This was....new? Jessie's eyes blinked as she watched what accrued, slightly feeling bad that she couldn't ease the girls mind yet an amused little chuckle did slip. Clearing her throat she raised her hand to apologize but then English was heard , it had been said within a think French accent but still she understood, well kinda. Yet before she could say anything French words where spilled up causing Jessie to be a little lost...yet then finally the girl had stood up and asked if they could go..

Amused she smiled and nodded her head. Jessie wondered was this how Alice saw her ? Biting her lip she didn't want to think of that...or she may fall over in embarrassment and defeat. As they began to walk the tomboy decided to test something letting words leave her in English. " Try and relax, Charlotte.. I dont expect you to be so proper. "

She hadn't really gotten a chance to look at the girl when she had first approached her letting her gaze wonder over to the girl she wore a lovely outfit and it looked nice, but there was a theme in that house hold..white and black. Jessie almost worried if the girl would be alright it was going to be quite a nice day,but hopefully it being fall the heat wouldn't get to high. Making there way to her bike she pulled her self out of her thoughts.

Charlotte followed after the girl much like a puppy would, trailing alongside her and trying to fight down the drive to appease her maid duties. She wasn't on duty right now, she needn't be a maid. Yet it was so difficult when that's really all you knew how to do... The English words that were spoken by the other both relieved yet distressed the timid maid. Proper was all how she knew how to act! As for relaxing, as a maid, that didn't come easy. Especially when the Himeno occupants were very busy one day. Taking in a breath, she tried to calm down.

"Ah, y-yes, madame." Again, the thick French accent had coated her English words. Normally it barely shone through, but when she was nervous, the trained blockade that concealed it would just burst.

The embarrassed blush that was suffused across her face was still there when they finally reached the motorized bike. Charlotte tilted her head, intrigued by the vehicle.

"Ah, zis eez?" ( Ah, this is?) She mused in English in her accent, staring at the bike in awe. She'd never seen anything like it before. What an interesting rendition of a bike!

" Please call me Jessie "

She smiled at the reaction the girl made as the mousy girls eyes looked upon the bike, Jessie took it as she had never seen such a bike. " Its a bicycle with a motor, faster then normal but also lighter then a motorcycle . In my own opinion its better I have more control."

She looked at the bike for a moment before stepping to it grabbing the helmet she held it out to the other . Yet then another thought came to mind she didn't want the others first impression of this ride to be one full of pink hair whipping across her face. Taking off her base ball cap she twisted her pony up and hid it under her now tight hat , it felt weird having the breeze hit her now bare beck again. " ah before we leave ... I hope you like Animals ?"

Just refer to her as Jessie. She had never been asked to call someone by something so informal. The maid gave a nod, though still couldn't help but wonder if it was even alright for her to even speak the girl's name. She was so used to referring to others formally; the one time she had slipped up and had called her snowy mistress by just "Alice" it had almost been the end of the line for her. Well, not that the spider really noticed or cared in the first place; the poor maid was just paranoid.

Charlotte offered another nod of comprehension at the explanation of the motorized bike. She had heard of a such a thing before, but had never actually seen one. Back in France, it was mostly cars, here at the Himeno manor, similar except for the occasional limousine, or even equestrian transportation. Although, she didn't always have enough balance to even stay on a horse in the seldom chances she and a few other maids would be called out to exercise the lovely white horses of the manor.

Shaking herself quickly from her thoughts, she blinked at the sight of the helmet being offered to her. She thanked her graciously and took it with a bit of hesitation. She wasn't sure what to do. Looking at it in her hands, she looked back up at the girl, noticing that she had tucked away her pink hair under her cap. Even with her long hair, the maid thought of her as looking still a bit more on the boyish side. Ah, remembering what she had thought of the tomboy the first time she had seen her, Charlotte blushed a little. It was natural to find girls attractive, but not in any way geared towards infatuation. That thought made her think of her young snowy mistress for a moment. Alice, as it had been justified with her relationship with the girl before her, was attracted to girls, despite being around mostly men, excluding the staff of maids at the manor... Charlotte didn't know what she thought about that - a girl being attracted romantically to another girl. Yet even so... Forcing herself from her thoughts again, the timid maid refocused just in time to catch a question.

"Hm? Oh, yes, mada-- ah! Jessie..." Though burdened by her heavy French accent, she was arguably more fluent in English pronunciation then Alice was.

Jessie smiled as she looked at the girl, she kinda liked speaking in English, ah thats right. " Maybe one day you and I could team up to teach Alice English. "

Noticing that Charlotte was just holding onto the helmet she walked up to the girl bending down she took the helmet and carefully placed it upon the girls head. Her hands slide across fabric of straps yet also Charlotte jaw her touch was a light warmth that fluttered under Charlotte chin.

Standing up now that the Helmut was hooked she got onto her bike and scooted forward patting the majority of the seat behind her. " You ready Charlotte? "

The maid tried not to giggle at the proposition. Teach the young mistress English? Alice would most likely not really be too pleased, but it would be worth a try. "Maybe..." she mused. Then with a bit of a strained giggle, added, "Ah, what a thought.'

Charlotte froze completely when Jessie approached and helped her put the helmet on. She felt a bit embarrassed, not knowing how to put it on herself, but made sure to thank the girl for the help. The warm touch made her jump a little at first. Then came the presence of a faint blush which the timid girl noticed instantly and hoped the other didn't notice, as she was unable to hide it.

Blinking, she just stared for a moment at the motorized bike as a gesture was made for her to get on, followed by a question. She wasn't sure if she was entirely ready. She had never been out of the manor with another in such a long time - never ridden one of these vehicles... An almost nervous sort of laugh escaped her throat. Ah, that didn't sound ladylike at all! "Y-Yes, ah, Jessie."

She moved much like a timid, awkward swan of black and white with each uncertain movement she took to get on the bike. It felt so strange to be doing this. A sudden nervousness hit her, yet she tried to keep it from her initial thoughts. The Himeno family had given her an order; to spend time with the mistress's girlfriend as the tomboy's test to prove her love. She couldn't back out.

" I'll need your help to lean in for turns.. Other then that,enjoy it. "

She turned the bike on and kicked the kickstand up bracing the bike that was ready to move with her feet. " feet up, and hold onto me "

Kicking of they began to move first it was slow as Jessie had to peddle to get them moving but soon the motor took over , it was a easy thing to control, and in reality it was a bit more bike then motorbike but its speed was faster and it glided down hill far quicker but turns other then valence was almost the same. Then again if you've never ridden a bike before this could be quite a shock if not a little nerve racking. Which Jessie hopped wouldn't be the case, but why the offer of holding to her was given, a security blanket of sorts.

* At the zoo *

Turning to bike off she carefully slide off and held a hand to the small maid that still sat upon the ride. As Jessie waited she noted the big ZOO sign made up of colorful strips and spots the gate to the zoo hand carvings of animals in its wooden doors. And between both zoo doors was a rather large anime...well animal costume that was it was a tiger handing out balloons heh maybe shed grab one for Charlotte for putting up with riding on such a bike.

You could already hear the jungle sounds they put on to make you feel more like you were in the wild,and Jessie wasn't sure as she guarded her eyes from the sun with her hand; was that a peacock walking around , looked like there were a few on there own just strolling the park like everyone else. Odd.

Charlotte let out a quiet squeak of surprise when the bike was turned on. E-Enjoy it? She was more nervous than anything. Not just because they were supposed to be on a date-- ah, spend time together, but also because she'd never ridden anything like this before! It didn't take long for her to obey and grab on to the other, albeit with a little hesitation. She tried to hold on gently, partially due to not wanting to accodently hurt the other but also due to not wanting to blush any more than she already was, but found herself tightening her grip when they started moving. Could she really do this? Ahh, why was she blushing so much? It felt strange.

The timid maid wasn't sure how long it took to arrive at the zoo. She had buried her face against the other's back and closed her eyes tight at first, opening them only in flashes to watch the world trickle by in colorful blurs. It was scary yet envigorstibg at the same time. The fabric of her white petticoat not pinned down by her legs fluttered beautifully around her in the turbulent air.

Soon, the bike slowed to a stop and turned off. Charlotte's eyes were still shut for a few moments longer. She eventually took the other's hand, thanking her, and slipped off the bike. Her knees felt weak and she swayed for a moment, her legs quivering. That was certainly quite an experience... Especially for a little house maid.

It had been quite a while since the French maid had been to a zoo. She had been to only two in Framce, and had yet to see one in Japan. Her mousy golden eyes shifted to every aspect of the entrance, for a moment, shimmering with an almost reminiscent childish light. Everything was so colorful and exotic... She realized she hadn't let go of the other's hand yet after being helped up and scrambled to let go, stumbling back a step on her flustered panic.

"Ah, sorry, Jessie!" She chirped in embarrassment.

Oh god she was a mess today. How embarrassing! Folding her hands behind her elegantly, she swayed a little, nibbling on her lower lip timidly before finding the action improper and unladylike and quickly stopping.

"If you may let me, I can pay for za tickets to enter." She offered in her French-accented English, gesturing to the entrance. It was Himeno custom; being part of the household, even if just the staff serving it, she would follow the custom as well; after all.

Jessie chuckled , giving a comforting smile to the mousey girl as she fumbled to let go of there held hands, though of course at first that only tangled them togeather more, odd her hands werent chilled...like alices ..

Shaking the thought away she heard the offer of a payment , even the workers of the manor was ready and willing to pay for others . Rasing her hand Jessie chuckled and shook her head no. With that same hand she reached into her chest poket and flashed a card with a otter on it " i am a member, heh as childish as it sounds i love the zoo one of the first places i took pictures at.. "

She spoke calmly as she placed the card back into her poket. She led them both to the entrance and got their tickets inside she did manage to get a balloon but there was one more thing she managed to get. With a turn of the heel she was grinning , pink locks of hair bounced as she held both out to chellote " We , can , feed , the , peacocks!"

She spoke almost like a small child as she tied the balloon on Charlottes wrist " Oh..also .. this is a thank you for putting up with the bike ride "

Taking a small hand full of food she bent down and scattered some slowly a peacock came over looking at jessie intently then started to eat. Jessie looked at it eyes sparking soon she smiled up at Charlotte " want to try ? "

She was such a mess! Ah! Half of Charlotte wanted to crumble in embarrassment, but she endeavored to keep what little elegance she had. She was supposed to be representing the household a bit, being out and about, and she wasn't doing too well of a job of it so far with her inelegant nervousness. She gave a polite bow when her offer to pay was rejected. "I sink it iz admirable you are a member. Many sink the zoo iz just for children when zey get older." She offered with a small smile.

The maid followed her closely, making quiet observations in French to herself every once in a while to calm herself down. This was no time to let her nerves get the best of her. But...she just couldn't help it for some reason. Sure, she had found the girl attractive when she had first came to the manor and the maid had mistaken her for a boy, but as a girl...feeling that same way wasn't proper! Especially since this was now her snowy mistress's girlfriend. Girlfriend... A relationship between girls... Was it okay to have feelings for another girl? Jessie's excitement broke her from her swirling thoughts. Peacocks? She looked at the girl and couldn't help but giggle a little. Jessie reminded her of the embodiment of a child at the moment, excited and starry-eyed. It was almost a refreshing thing to see, especially after being surrounded by nothing but graceful, mature, elegant figures of strict emotional and behavioral limitations.

"Ah, zank you, Jessie." The more she spoke in her French accent in English, the more she blushed a little in embarrassment. It was strong and there was no way to hide it. But it did hold a foreign elegance to it that could substitute for her faults in other areas of elegance. Golden orbs glanced up at the balloon, greeted by a blurred, distorted reflection of herself and the surrounding environment. Then she watched Jessie put down food for a nearby peacock. Charlotte admired the creature. Its feathers, its sleek build and glossy elegance in every movement; it was lovely! If memory served her correctly, she remembered the Himeno family had told her once of stories about snow-white albino peacocks existing as well. Charlotte giggled nervously at the offer that came next.

"Moi?" She realized she had spoken in French and brought a few fingers to her lips, catching herself, before taking them away and smiling shyly with a nod, "S-Sure!"

As the peacock ate jessie couldnt help but notice Charlotte, she was blushing but seemed puzzled ? It couldnt be from the idea of feeding the peacock, after all soon after the mousey girl agreed to join in feeding it. So what was bothering her ?

As they both began to feed the peacocks a few more came over soon there where four, one infact was elbino white as snow with beautiful silver and blue colorings ever so softly adding color to its feathers . Jessie carefully slipped her camra out and took a few pictures of the beautiful creature. Soon she turned and took a photo of Charollote. " penny for your thoughts ? "

Jessie spoke as she placed her camra away. She was curious as to what had the girl seem so puzzled but she did hope it wasnt anything bad, did she think of jessie too childish ? Or maybe she felt out of place ? Was she like Alice and didnt like crowds ?

Oh dear, now jessie was worried , taking a small breath she calmed , better to wait for a answer from the girl before she got to worried .

Charlotte admired all the peacocks, especially the albino one. It was just like the Himeno household had described it to her as. Full of grace and beauty and of an exotic snowy beauty... Ah, just like both Lady Himeno and her young snowy mistress. She blinked in surprise when the camera was turned on her and a photo was taken. Though that reaction lasted but a brief moment, for she withdrew into her usual nervous self. "Ah..." She considered whether to voice them or not. Though, dutiful to the servant role she served, she supposed it would be not befitting of her to not voice them on request.

"Love between girls..." The maid started quietly. She was blushing a bit too much now from embarrassment and covered her face for a brief moment until it faded. "I waz just sinking about zat...." ( I was just thinking about that) She stared at the albino peacock as she spoke. It fluttered its snow-white wings and flexed the feathers of its tail. It was beautiful, just like the other peacocks, though it held a special beauty all of its own. Though most would disagree, due to the lack of color. The odd one out. Charlotte got lost in just looking at it for a moment before unconsciously continuing, "Iz it really okay to like anoza girl? Like ow you and mistress Alice feel about each oza..." (Is it really okay to like another girl? Like how you and mistress Alice feel about each other...) 

She realized she had said a bit more than she had planned too and covered her mouth in a quick motion, the black and white fabric of her outfit swirling. "Ah, I-I mean-- L-Look, giraffes!" Ah, this was so embarrassing! Why was she like this? She had quickly changed the subject and pointed off to the tall savanah creatures in the distance, trying to deviate the topic she had started.

As she watched colorful feathers move across the ground she smiled softly as she listened to Charlotte speak, so she was confused on how two girls could love one another. Jessie even chuckled as she tried to cover the hole thing up . Quitely she stood and took Charolottes hand softly. Leading her to the girgraffes, she did t let her hand go. " I feel like.... when your little you dream of a lot of things... and yet as you get older ....some of those dreams are taken away . "

Jessie looked to the mousy girl and lightly smiled before looking at the tall animals again " i feel... like when you lose a lot or you feel lost or even just simply unfufilled you look for those dreams again, but as you may know or learn those dreams ... those dreams you once knew are diffrent. They have changed and your decision is to grasp the change and make it your knew dream or....be lost "

She took a breath and gripped Charlottes hand a bit more. " i think love is the same... id like to think at least you want love. Yet sometimes that love comes in diffrent ways...and your choice is to take hold of it... no matter what ,no matter the judgment around.. or be lost.."

The tomboy blinked as she stood up straight from her bend over stance to smile over at the other girl " i think love with a girl , now that ive grasped it...is fantastic..its specal. "
