What kind of clothes does you character wear when she's not in uniform? Mimi generally wears old styled kimono or long robes. Her wardrobe was handpicked for a proper lady by her grandmother and so most of the time she'll wear her uniform even when it isn't required. When she goes a little crazy, she tends to not wear the clothes as carefully, letting them slide, slacken, or simply get mussed up.

What instrument(s) does she play? Shamisen
Are you a Maid? Maybe
Is your character on the Student Council? -No, she is not.
If yes, what does your character think of the student council president? She is not on the council.
Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more:
Mimi is usually a very calm and reserved young woman. Her prim and proper method of speech is matched by careful attention to detail and pristine uniform. She does not give herself over to vulgar things such as loud laughing with the mouth open, nor large smiles, or sobbing tears. Such behavior is inelegant and not worthy of a woman trained in the finer arts. Her parents long ago taught her the value in appearing noble at all times. So she keeps herself reserved, subduing emotions down to a small smile or pursed lips, or a slight blush. However there is a different side to Mimi, a side hidden to many. Beneath her noblewoman exterior is the soul of pure rock. A stray phrase, a small riff of song, who knows what will set her off but it is as if a switch is flipped and she becomes very similar to her mother.
A small strain of music might be faintly heard and a strand of hair rises from her head. Her smile opens up, no longer closed tightly you might even see a single fang glisten in the light. Her voice rises to a level not far from shouting, as if she's addressing a group. She starts emphasizing her words with large hand gestures. She will quite often reference song lyrics or occasionally just start singing a melody. She also has one or two verbal tics, Rock On. She's also super emotional like to eleven, while she's in this state. Happiness, sadness, panic, she really feels them and with flailing arms, she can kind of go overboard. And all those emotions tend to override things like basic intelligence and common sense, turning her into an absolute dunce. However, this doesn't often last long. She'll soon completely run out of energy and experience a mild fainting or dizziness spell and probably won't lose it again until she's had a rest, something to eat, or some major energy surge.
What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole?
It's a very lovely position though perhaps a bit vulgar in its current state. At least, half of it is. The lower position seems far more appropriate for a proper Lady.
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday?
Perhaps, though she would not rise above her station, Mimi might consider an offer to run for the esteemed position.
What does your character think of the current etoiles?
They are both proper Miator women and her grandmother would probably approve. Momoko might be leaning a bit too far on the rebellious side of things but Michelle could be a textbook example of what Mimi is supposed to become, though without the girl's love involved or the boyish aspects. Regardless, they both impress Mimi quite a lot.
What does your character think of the other schools?
Spica is so improper that it's absurd, but you can't fight vulgarity with vulgarity. They've also got a choir which is a bit unfair. Mimi would love a chance to take a few of those girls down a peg...if that was something a proper lady would do...
As for Le Rim, if not for her grandmother, Mimi would have gone there. The variety of clubs and possibility to start a band was very tempting, for now she'll have to make do in Miator.
~History~
Please write in 100 words or more your character's history before she came to Miator:
History before Astraea Hill:
Mimi is a mutt in a lot of ways. She's only a quarter japanese, another quarter is british, and the last half is american. On one side of the family, she's come from a line of rebels, on the other, one rebel at the end of a line of proper elegant people. According to her grandmother, their family was tied to the emperor hundreds of years ago and even if that's faded with time, it's still important to act and be ladylike as the family name would suggest. As you may have guessed, Mimi almost exclusively grew up with her grandmother. Her parents travel the world for music and quite often went in different paths. Mimi's grandmother didn't approve of that either. She was a traditionalist and raised Mimi to be one as well. Rather than such lurid instruments like the guitar or piano, Mimi learned the shamisen and harp. She also learned to sing. However, when she was with her parents and her american mother's grandfather, she learned those lurid instruments and was exposed to their music. The raw energy, passion, from that music enflamed her soul and she taught herself how to scream out the love of music just like so many of her idols. But she hid that too. Grandmother would not have approved.
When it finally came time for her to go to a true school, Grandmother decided that it would be best for Mimi to go to the best school. One that would impress upon her the importance of being ladylike. Miator, the same school Grandmother had gone to as a girl. Being the dutiful daughter, Mimi has accepted the choice and decided to become the model Miator graduate. At first she thought that this might be her chance to have some freedom, like her parents, but it turned out that her grandmother was friends with a few of the nuns and would be visiting often. So Mimi would have to continue being the same person she'd been for so long, no experimentation.

Sample Post: The wind blew the flower petals across the open field. Beneath a barren tree sat a girl in uniform atop a blanket of wool. A small thermos of tea was propped against the trunk beside her and the smell of it mixed with that of the grass and flowers in the passing wind. In her hands was a tea cup that she daintily raised to her lips and silently sipped. The sound of rustling leaves, the feel of passing petals, the taste of the leaf, the smell of the breeze, she gazed out on the school and let all five senses take in the natural beauty of her new school. It really was like a new life. She hadn't brought her instrument with her, but it made her want to sing. Such beauty and grace deserved poetry and song about it. But she squashed that down, it wouldn't be proper to burst into song just for coming in to a new place, no matter how many dreams might come true.
A small frown came to Mimi's face. It wasn't fair, she wanted to let loose, feel the freedom, find out if she should follow her mother and father into the music business. This seemed less and less likely to happen. Still, at least there was some variety to dress here at the school, and these uniforms were far better than the traditional kimono her grandmother always wanted her to wear. Any change was good change. Mentally she scolded herself, that was not how a lady thought. Blessings were to be accepted with grace, not paint previous experience as bad. A small sigh escaped her lips before she took another sip of tea. Miator was her home now, for better or for worse.
