Japanese Tea Ceremony: No Flower Arrangement: No Ballroom Dancing: No Needlepoint: No Foreign Language: No Band: No OTHER CLUBS:
Art Club ARE YOU A MAID?:
Sure why not. No one in particular I have in mind currently but it'll be something for Rika to try doing even though she might feel shy and awkward while doing so. She will of course keep everything medically concerning her a secret but it is possible this may be her own undoing just to prove she can do something without the help of someone else. IS CHARACTER A MEMBER OF STUDENT COUNCIL?:
Yes but only having a secretarial position if that's alright. If not, just a regular student council member is more than fine. WHAT DOES CHARACTER THINK OF STUDENT COUNCIL PRESIDENT?:
Being new to the school, she's not gotten to know very many people but as a member of the student council, she finds the current president of it to be a nice girl who appears to know what she's doing as far as handling important affairs when it comes to the students, the school, and the clubs formed by the students. Beyond that, Rika is still getting to know her. She does find it humorous though that she shares the same name as her fraternal twin brother since it isn't often that Rika comes across others who share either her own name or her brother's name which is “Riko”. Telling him that she knows would embarrass him but she's unable to help but to tease her brother very once in awhile. PERSONALITY:
She may not look it because of her appearance but Rika is very independent but there are times she does depend on her fraternal twin brother Riko. But unlike him, she follows rules when they are given and scolds him when he's being reckless and impulsive all the time. Rika enjoys playing various types of board games and video games against her brother for fun even though he has a tendency to complain anytime he loses to her. She doesn't brag about winning against him but she does wonder why he takes games so seriously when they are just that, games. Rika's also very kind and gentle who can easily befriend others but she is a tad cautious about it. Being that she was home schooled for the majority of her life does make her worry sometimes if she's good enough to be friends with anyone. She loves exploring and learning new things but is much more collected and calm about her explorations, given that she is the youngest, with Riko being the elder twin. She is smart for a girl her age, being allowed to attend public school recently and taking exams to be able to catch up. She is more aware of her surroundings than Riko and does her best to stay out of trouble to keep their parents from worrying about them.
However, when she was much younger, Rika had an incredibly weak body constitution to where she was limited in being able to do the things that children around her age normally did. Like playing outside and participating and various other outdoor activities. At one point, her body had became so weak she'd ended up going into a for about a month, leaving her parents and brother to worry about her condition and whether or not she'll be alright. She'd been diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. Her condition was treatable and Rika did recover from it but she and her family were urged that she refrain from doing any heavy activity but she can more or less live out her life. But there was the possibility that the illness could return and therefore, Rika endures checkups every three to six months to make sure that she is alright. Her body might still be frail but it isn't as bad as it used to be but she does her best to be careful to avoid worrying anyone, especially her family. Unfortunately, she does have to deal with her overprotective brother worrying about her. She understands his worry but Rika prefers to try and do things on her own no matter how tired she may be. She wants to not feel like she is a burden to others. She also doesn't talk about her medical history with others. Not because it isn't their business, which it really isn't but she doesn't want people worrying about her all the time.
She also doesn't want this to keep her from making friends with others either so she keeps a lot of things to herself. She can become nervous in certain situations that she feels are dangerous that Riko has gotten them into and having to be the one to get them out of it without getting into too much trouble. Rika tends to point out her brother's flaws in his plans whenever he attempts to do something stupid. For the longest, her education was done through the use of the internet, causing her and her brother to be cooped up inside the house all the time because their parents weren't ready for their children to attend public schooling. Actually, they were worried about Rika and wanted Riko to look out for her while they were away. So being home schooled was not something that Rika came up with voluntarily but rather it was out of the worry for her health. But being stuck indoors a lot all the time has made Rika a bit of a recluse as a person and this makes her not understanding such things like crushes and love like her brother does. CHARACTER’S OPINION OF ETOILE POSITION AS A WHOLE?:
Being a recluse for the majority of her life, Rika doesn't understand the big deal surrounding the Etoile position. She isn't someone that would particularly be fond of the idea of being put on the spot for something such as this and if it is supposed to represent the love between two people then she feels that it's really no ones business but those two people to be in love with each other. Not the entire school. Then again, her brother Riko feels her opinion is biased because she's never been in love before or had a crush on someone to fully understand why it's such a big deal to the school that she's attending. WOULD CHARACTER WANT TO BE ETOILE SOMEDAY?:
If Rika were to fall in love with someone in the near future, she'd rather not have it be publicly displayed for others to know. Such a topic is confusing and embarrassing for her to talk about anyway since she has no full understanding of it being the age that she is right now. The answer to this would be no. CHARACTER’S OPINION OF CURRENT ETOILES?:
Rika feels intimidated by both of them because of the elegant air they carry about themselves. Elegance is something that Rika believes she'll most likely never achieve but that is the only thing she can say about them. Having never spoken to them, she doesn't know how they would be in terms of having a conversation with them and therefore doesn't want to think or say anything rude about them that may be untrue. Not until she got to know them personally. But from a distance they're beautifully elegant, confident and strong young women. Something Rika aspires to be : stronger and more confident. CHARACTER’S OPINION OF OTHER SCHOOLS:
Only Riko would put such an emphasis on the rivalry between schools. Rika would not, therefore, they're nothing more than just schools that are highly different from one another in both standards and academics. Either of them would be good schools for any girl to attend. Although, given the school she attends, Rika does feel like that going to a school that basically turns girls into polished future “brides” to be a little weird. CHARACTER HISTORY:
Rika Nakahara is the fraternal twin to Riko Nakahara and the daughter to parents Taichi Nakahara and Kazaka Nakahara. She is the youngest of the twins, being born second after Riko and is much more calm, quiet, and collected as opposed to her impulsive, loud, and energetic elder brother. Rika lives together with Riko originally in the Mansions at Azabu Towers Hotel before recently being allowed to attend public schooling and her parents thought it best for her to attend an all girls school and live on its campus in the dormitory. The same is also said for Riko as well, attending an all boys school and living on its campus in the dorms. Before the move, their time was spent alone while their parents worked out of town and they lived in a super deluxe high end hotel while they were away. So they received their education via the internet due to their parents’ paranoia of not wanting to send them off to public schooling by themselves with them not being around all the time. That and they were worried about Rika's health as well. As for Rika, to keep herself occupied, she’d gotten into playing board games and video games with her brother and they would play together but sometimes Rika grew bored of playing with her brother because he was such a sore loser anytime she won.
As for her parents concern for her health and well being, it is because she'd been diagnosed at the age of two years old with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia and at age three, she'd lapsed into a coma where she didn't wake up for about a month. She as already showing signs of having health issues at an earlier age where she was frequently tired all the time, not wanting to eat anything and sometimes passing out at the most opportune times unexpectedly. They assumed she may have been anemic but it was an illness on a much larger scale. Taichi and Kazaka thought they were going to lose their daughter. She'd been put through treatment and while she survived it, doctors were still concerned that she would have a relapse and the illness could return at a later point in her life while she was either still young or when she was older if she were to live long enough to become an adult. Rika understood the concerns the doctors and her family had for her but hearing it all just made her feel so sad that she couldn't do a lot of things other kids her age could do. That it was possible that she'll be sick for the rest of her life with an illness that may return. Her body managed to recover a bit but sometimes she'll still feel tired and weak so she was strongly prohibited from participating in heavy activities involving sports related activities. That kind of sucked since there were a few games she did like but couldn't play them anymore without putting too much stress on her body in the process.
She'd only relapsed twice going into short comatose states which scared her brother half to death when she wouldn't respond whenever he tried to wake her up. It's because of this that Riko is so protective of her. Rika just feels as if she's nothing more than a burden to her parents and her brother and does find it stressful and sometimes annoying when they smother her too much. She'd also been prevented from attending public school either, both her and her brother being home schooled up until they were the ages of twelve when their parents finally decided to allow them both to attend public school. They had wanted the twins to attend the same school but since they've already spent too much time together inside the hotel they originally lived in, they were placed in separate same gender schools. Rika was enrolled into St Miator Girls Academy while Riko attended an all boys private academy under Christian guidance and its name is Ashford Private Boys Academy. Rika was happy about this because she could now start to make friends outside of home instead of any kids that lived in the hotel rooms with their families that were either staying permanently or temporarily on a vacation. She also lives on campus as well and while it isn't a fancy hotel, it's something different and Rika is satisfied with it. She does meet up with her brother after classes to hang out with him since she knows he'll worry as they won't be around each other regularly anymore.
She does it to give him some peace of mind but jokes around with him that he needs to hang around more girls besides her which embarrasses him greatly and he'll start to exaggerate saying that he talks to plenty of girls besides her, which Rika doesn't believe but she humors him anyway. Both of the had to work hard on their exams in order to get into their respective schools but Rika did fairly well considering she is pretty smart for a young girl her age and has no trouble paying attention to her assignments and lessons. But given that she’d been cooped up inside of a hotel for so long, she can be considered a bit of a recluse because of it. That and her not understanding a lot of things regarding the emotions of others when it comes to love and crushes girls her age have and why her brother gets embarrassed when she teases him about needing to hang around other girls. But this goes without saying, she doesn’t mind meeting new people and will befriend them if she deems them trustworthy enough. However, she does on numerous occasions scold her brother when he doesn’t listen to her or gets into things he’s not supposed to be doing that could get not just him but her into trouble as well. She at best tries to avoid having to depend on her brother, liking to do things on her own to avoid causing him to worry about her. Rika hopes to eventually beat her illness altogether so she acts and does things like any regular girl who isn't sick would but does mind the doctors orders to take it easy.

SIXTH YEAR: SAMPLE POST:
"Gomen nasai, I hope I'm not late for the student council meeting," Rika apologized as she entered the room as she often did whenever the student council arranged to have a serious meeting that involved well the fate of the school's clubs, budget and any other important matters. Rika mostly handled the paperwork of the council which was fine and easier for her to manage. She liked it as well as enjoyed it. She enjoyed it more being on the student council because no one on it gave her a hard time. Therefore, she did her best not to be late for any meetings that were held. Not all the time they were important, most of the time it was just reviewing a lot of the things that they'd gone over before but looking for updates in regards to them. Plus, she was never forced to join any other club she didn't want to join as she'd been given the choice to take it easy because they had been aware of her weak constitution.
Although Rika didn't feel very weak. She felt just fine and loved going to school. However, things had changed on the student council. The friend she'd made, the former president of the council was no longer president anymore but another girl was. Rika knew very little about the new president but she was aware that a lot of girls who did, didn't like her at all. In fact, they were scared of her but they kept this to themselves to avoid facing consequences for it. The young girl didn't understand why the other girls felt they had to keep their mouths shut around the new student council president. She didn't sound like someone that was that bad. Well, if she was then she wasn't any different than your average bully that walked among the schoolyard trying to start trouble. If that's what this new president was looking for then Rika had a feeling that she wasn't going to be president for much longer. But she couldn't predict the future. The rumors about the new president might be wrong and the girl might actually turn out to be nice. Only time would tell that.
Seeing that no one else was in the room but the former president herself, Kugimiya Asuna, Rika smiled and stepped further into the room and took a seat at the table. "It's good to see you, Kugimiya-san. How are you?" she asked her in a cheerful tone. She felt really bad since she knew Asuna not only enjoyed her position as Student Council President but she did a really good job too. No doubt she was feeling down about losing out to another girl who was a university student. Rika was a little intimidated by the idea of that herself but there were a couple of girls on the student council that were university students and they were nice. Rika didn't want to judge the girl before getting to know her after all. That wouldn't be fair towards her. Luckily she wasn't here yet, nor was anyone else so she and Asuna could play catch up for a little while.
(This is a sample post from my own site where I play her and she is on the student council. x.x Not to confuse with this site's student council. Almost forgot to put this in case it was mentioned.)
