What kind of clothes does you character wear when she's not in uniform? Lots! She's no fashion expert, but she has a full wardrobe of varying things for every occasion.
What Clubs is you character involved in? You may choose "none" or a maximum of three from the list below.
Cosplay/Sewing Club: No
Cooking Club: Yes
Drama Club: No
Arts and Crafts: No
Book Club: No
Theater Club: No
Computer Club: Yes
Manga/Anime Club: No
The Astraea Host Club (Rose Garden) : No
Other? -If you wanted your character to be part of a club not listed above, please list it here and an admin will decide if your character can have it.
Is your character on the Student Council? - No
If yes, what does your character think of the student council president? Being on it or not, she does tend to think of her President as someone who SHOULD be a symbol of neutrality and also a symbol of power at the same time. Whether or not Gilda maintains this standard of hers has yet to be seen.
Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more:
Sadie rarely displays much emotion or shame. It could be argued that she's not unlike an animal, knowing nothing of silly human ideas like shame, doubt, pressure, etc. She does not lack these emotions, she simply has a much higher threshold to feel them, as she is desensitized on the whole. This comes through in various other scenarios as well.
If you are a stranger, she will not be shy around you. Shyness is reserved. Instead, she will feel a certain lack of care for your existence until you've come into her good graces.
If you are her friend, she will worry about you - quietly. She will pull strings for you, and speak rationally on your behalf while you are flustered. She also has no problem beating sense into you with cold shoulders.
If you catch her affection, you probably won't know it easily. She doesn't know how to express that kind of thing.
Somehow if you convince her to date you, this is when she will open up. Slightly. She will show a spectrum of diluted emotions that you would only notice if you were that close with her.
Enemies of hers are not a factor, because she doesn't care for grudges or hostilities. Instead, she forgets you exist. Anyone against her will be fighting a battle alone.
What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole? A symbol of popularity and nothing more. Trivial.
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday? Not really, no. She would do it if presented with the chance purely because she doesn't care one way or the other, though.
What does your character think ofthe current etoiles? Her hypothetical opinions are the same as they are with everyone else, as she cannot justify having these two individuals held above anyone else for any reason. They won a popularity contest, not a political position or anything of real value. The seme etoile presents far too much emotion to be considered a leader, and the uke is nothing short of a doorstep. They're both individuals on her level however, as are the rest of the student body, and should not be looked up to any more than anyone else. Human nature dictates the popular as the role models, when this simply isn't the case, especially for the uke who does nothing short of attach herself to the hip of the seme and gets carried to popularity with her.
This is her unfiltered thoughts on the two, and this is what she genuinely would think if she knew them.
What does your character think of the other schools? As with the Etoile station, she considers the rivalries and all that wastes of time.
~History~
Please write in 100 words or more your character's history before she came to Lulim.
History before Astraea Hill:
Sadie is from a past that some would crave, and some would loathe. It's been a mixed bag for her up to this point. In the beginning, she was with an abusive and impoverished household. Her nationality has always been in question as well, for she has the general color of a caucasian but the structure and height of an Asian. She never knew her real father, living instead with a crazed mother. The woman would create artificial problems, belittle her daughter's work, and blame her for everything. It wasn't until Sadie turned 12 that she began to understand, her mother was simply also 12 in the body of an adult. A grown child. Someone who couldn't handle the hand they were dealt in life and sought blaming everything but themselves for their problems.
Upon this realization, she confronted her mother, who in turn kicked her out. She wandered the streets for one week, and during that week in the slums of her area she was desensitized to emotion. She retained the ability to feel them, but they were diluted and weak. Eventually, she submitted to the ways of the world and approached a homeless shelter, at which she was discovered and adopted by an Asian family. At that point she began to be taught religious lifestyle choices, and worked part time at her new family's restaraunt as a dish washer. This sparked a love for cooking in her that she would pursue in college, she decided.
Her new family wasn't broke either. She was given many things she needed to survive, and even put through private school to Astraea Hill, which isn't cheap. Now she lives in semi luxury, but retains the knowledge of hardship, humbling her to her financial status as well as allowing her to perceive every human as equal regardless of this or any other social modifier.
(Below are the sections for your character's history during her time on Astraea Hill. If you are joining as a first year, you do not have to fill out the sections below until the end of the year. If you are joining as any other year please make up a history for any years before her current year, even if she was attending another campus. If you have already played your character here on SPRP for a year or more (in rp time), please add any events you role played to the appropriate history section. Any years you have not yet played, you may leave blank, but you will fill them out when your character reaches that year in school.
First Year: During her first year, she immediately signed up for cooking to pacify her time. She quickly learned how to prepare many dishes and maintain a kitchen environment with excellence. Other than this, she spent much of her time in the computer lab researching various things here and there. Nothing exact, but most things related back to food and literature, specifically Lovecraft. She also developed a bit of a love for anime and manga during this time.
Second Year: Spending so much time in the computer lab caused her to join the computer club and learn how technology works as well. Overall her skill set increased exponentially, to the point that she could be considered a jack of all trades. She didn't reach out to anyone during all this time, but she also didn't shun anyone. This earned her a bit of a reputation as an enigma - someone that nobody really knew how to handle.
Third Year:
Fourth Year:
Fifth Year:
Sixth Year:
Sample Post:
There was music playing behind her, on the counter of her area. In front of her, a flat top grill and the tools to prepare. In one hand, a sharp edged, flat steel tool. In the other, a longer, rounded one. Her precision was apparent quickly, as she had the chicken on her grill cut into small pieces within seconds, shredding some of it to dance about the dish and flavor sections of it without it being too chunky. Next to that, a small amount of pepper and onion, diced prior to perfection. She combined the two into a mixture on the grill, and spun her spatulas in hand to relieve the tension her wrist was feeling from the force they were under.
There were a few more details to the dish, but overall the impression she gave off was precise and direct, not one of showing off. It was, for all logical purpose, complete. A rice bowl littered with chicken, onions, peppers, and seasons just right so as to be soft and moist enough to enjoy. Decorating the top of the simple yet desirable dish were some lightly steamed leeks, and a glaze of sriracha in a floral design.
It's not about the size so much as it is the details, and she felt this level of details was enough. The attention to every corner of the bowl and every additive was evident, and her new family seemed to quite enjoy this side of her. They all sampled and loved her creation that night, shared stories by the fireplace, and relaxed with each other. This was their final night before she went to school in a new location, and would be rooming there.
That was, oh... Two years ago, now. The pleasant thoughts had the faintest traces of a smile on the more mature Sadie's lips as she glided her way through the halls toward her dorm room, and upon arriving there, she cast her things aside in favor of just her sleepwear. This was, roughly, 3PM. She simply felt for comfortable in this attire and chose it for her lounging about and reading manga.
