If yes, what does your character think of the student council president?
Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more: From a young age, Vivian stood out as a leader. She has no problem taking charge and directing those with doubts to her choosing as well. And to add to that leadership is her natural charm. She's a true flirt. Anything with two legs is sure to get a bit of her attention at some point. The problem is, she doesn't think anything of the flirting since it is simply her nature. She absolutely loves attention, like most preformers. What is an artist without an audience? Solitude is the time she fills with practice so her mind doesn't wander, instead she throws her whole being into keeping herself in shape. Vivian isn't interested in love whatsoever. She has room in her heart for only one thing, dance. Even though she's quick to make decisions, finding a partner is much harder for her. Especially at her old school since most of the students only came to her for the thrill of breaking rules by joining her dance crew. It never left her bitter though. She really doesn't mind being used as an outlet. As long as they are creative while doing so. This leads to her keeping a bit of distance from everyone around her. Sure, she'll be friendly, but she won't open her heart to many.
What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole? A popularity contest? Count her in. She always strives to be the best and has heard that this position puts you at the top of the totum pole. Problem is finding a partner. How could she choose just one with all these pretty girls running around campus?
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday? Of course!
What does your character think of the current etoiles? (I'll change this as soon as the new Etolies are revealed.)
One of her first priorities after arriving at Astraea was to head to the library and look through the reference book of students. Her attention was drawn in by the Etolies, the most popular couple on campus it said. Both girls were cute, of course. The little descriptions given had her even more intrigued. Haruka reminded her greatly of the shy DJ she befriended early on at Reinhardt. Sweet and friendly to everyone. She wondered if she had any hidden talents under that cute exterior too. Then there was Coyote. An unusal name for a girl, she mused, but cute all the same. And the girl was athletic. Maybe she could use her rougish charm to get her to start dancing and begin the foundation of a new crew. Oh, how delicious that would be!
What does your character think of the other schools?
Miator reminds her of her old school, making her a bit bitter toward the students. As time goes on, this will surely lessen. She finds the competition between her school and Miator refreshing. There was never any rivalry at Reinhardt, so she's bound to take advantage of it.
~History~
Please write in 100 words or more your character's history before she came to Spica.
History before Astraea Hill:
From middle school, she attended Reinhardt Academy of Dance. Her second year there, she teamed up with a girl from the music department to begin creating Starstruck. This is the dance crew that quickly grew, including many of the students of the school and some from outside their walls. The starting group was only five though. Her closest friends. But by the time she was expelled from the school it had upwards of fifty members. The crew was the reason she was forced from the school, since they were a sort of Flash Mob group. They danced in public places, causing public disruption and bringing light problems of society to the civilian's eyes. There in lies a problem. It was strictly forbidden for any student to become involved in a group outside of the school or dance in public while not at a school function. So after one last protest, right in front of the Head Mistress, she packed her bags and headed for Astraea Hill as her parents wished.
Astraea History:
First Year: At Reinhardt, she was learning new forms of dance from her crew members and setting up "demonstrations" around their city.
Second Year: Still at R, this was the year that she was arrested, allowing the rest of her crew to get away. She'd rather take the fall than one of the members. She was the one that orchestrated all of it after all. This lead to her expulsion. Over summer she arrived at the Hill to begin her new school life.

Sample Post:
"Vivian Danielle Fairclough."
The teen ground her teeth at the use of her full name, but held back retort as she stared at the Head Mistress' desk.
"The fact that you're sitting in that chairs means you failed to take heed of my warning. Shall we go over your inability to follow this schools rules once more?" The woman crossed her fingers and rested her hands on the desk as she waited. Since there was none, as she expected, she continued. "Fraternizing with members outside the school to form a 'dance crew.' If you were to consider it dancing. Pulling students in with you. Dancing off school grounds. Creating public disturbances with this said crew. Even being arrested for such behavior. It is unacceptable!"
The Matron schooled her features that had tensed with anger.
"Our school upholds it's honor to the students that truly want to be here and it is obvious by your lack of restraint that you are not one of these students. I have spoken to the Board and your scholarship to Reinhardt has been revoked. You will pack your bags and leave this afternoon. Your parents have already been notified. Dismissed."
The elderly woman gave a wave of her hand and the black haired girl shoved out of her chair. She had kept her silence this long, but as she reached for the doorhandle she paused. She couldn't leave it at this. Talking over her shoulder she ground out the words.
"Dance is a form of expression. That's what you teach every single student here. If you smother that expression, you smother the person. Thank you for releasing me from the prison, Matron. Don't expect the other students to stop now that you've taken the instigator away though. I have opened their eyes to a new way to fight their oppression and it won't stop with me. It's a new age and you should accept that."
Her rant was broken though, by a deep bass rattling the windows of the small office. As Viv looked back to the door she smiled and wrenched it open. Her last show on school grounds. Her friends waited behind that door for her. A wonderful farewell party.
Vivian stepped out lightly, the flat billed cap she had clenched in her hands being pulled over her silky locks. This would prove her point well enough. She couldn't hear the movements of the Head Mistress behind her, but she knew she was there. Viv grasped the hand rail of the balcony and leaned out over to see the crowd of at least thirty students below massing in the lobby of the administrative building. Many of the other adults that labored away in these rooms were starting to pour out into the balcony. One last show.
Vivian raced down the stairs, hopping on the railing halfway down to slide the rest of the way. Her high top sneakers hit the floor with a snap and she moved into the throng of cheering kids. She slapped hands with many of them on her way to her position in the center. Just as she was about to step there she received a nod from the girl behind the makeshift DJ stand as she held a pair of headphones to one ear. The leader lifted her chin in a sign of acknowledgment and the music subtly shifted to a DJrctic compilation. As one the students moved to the beat, feet shifting, fists pumping. It was glorious.
By the end, Viv had tears in her eyes as she was bombarded with hugs by her closest friends. She hugged them all back then glanced up to the landing where the Mistress flashed glares at any of the teachers that had started clapping. The blue eyes girl grinned and turned from the sight, making her way from the place she had once called home. This wouldn't stop her. Nothing could ever stop an artist from creating their art.
