What kind of clothes does you character wear when she's not in uniform? Mi's normal outfits are simple, oversized, and white. She prefers flowing white dresses and oversized white sweaters. She also has a love of other people's clothes and most of her clothing is thrifted or hand-me-downs. She particularly loves clothing from people who make her feel safe or comfortable, and generally these people are taller than she is and the clothing is oversized. It is rare for her to wear anything that actually fits.

What kinds of activities is your character involved in? Writing Club
Is your character on the Student Council? No
If yes, what does your character think of the student council president? She is not on the student council.
Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more:
Mi might seem a little strange at first, or second, glance. Her goal in life is to be a cat. Or a novelist, although she would prefer to be a cat. She spends the majority of her time sleeping, reading, or writing and prefers to be outside or near a warm, sunny window. Although she loves the outdoors, she does not enjoy being dirty. Mi loves reading and loses herself easily in her books and her fantasies. She is a cheerful girl who never seems to let anyone or anything bother her. Although that seems to be the case, it is far from it and she cares deeply about others' opinions of her.
She develops crushes and falls in love rather easily, becoming infatuated by anyone who shows her any sort of positive attention. She also takes the idea "out of sight, out of mind" somewhat literally though, and often doesn't think much about most people unless they are in her immediate presence. That does not apply to Aika, who she does not have romantic feelings toward but whose opinion matters so much to her that the woman is frequently on her mind. Few other people have broken through her years of practiced air-headedness. If someone can do that, they will see an entirely different side of Mi: one that is shy and so terrified of rejection that she will do anything for approval.
Mi is also very sensitive about her name and her appearance. Do not, under any circumstances, call her "Yumi".
What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole? It's like a fairytale or something out of a book: two people who love each other enough to announce it to the school and who are also loved by everyone.
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday? That would be nice, but it isn't her priority. She wouldn't mind having the adoration of the school and the heart of someone who loves her that much, though.
What does your character think of the current Etoiles? They both seem like they would be fun people to meet and be friends with, however Mi would actually be uncomfortable around two people who love each other. They have such different personalities that it's like something out of a novel. Coyote seems to stand out and is someone who is impossible not to notice. Mi admires her for that and would like to be someone who can also walk into a room and command everyone's attention. She also admires Hiroko who Mi thinks is very pretty. She is ashamed of being jealous and feeling inadequate in comparison.
What does your character think of the other schools? She actually wanted to go to Lulim. She has a deep admiration for the school and holds it in very high regards. She has no particular feelings toward either of the other schools. However, she does take pride in the accomplishments of the other students at her school.

Please write in 100 words or more your character's history before she came to Miator:
History before Astraea Hill:
Mi is a lifelong disappointment. She is a waste of space and resources according to her parents. Her father has no interest in girls and focuses his attention on his son, Hideki, who will one day follow in his footsteps and work in the same electronics company. He left the care of his daughter to his wife, who is clearly biased. Mi lives in the shadow of her beautiful, talented, and popular younger sister, Mitsuki. Mi's mother dreamed of being the mother of an idol, but Mi could never live up to her mother's expectations when she turned out to be unexceptional-looking, clumsy, and seemingly untalented. Fortunately, when Mitsuki was born, Mi's mother was given the daughter she always wanted. Mi and Mitsuki went to the same auditions and while Mi always failed, Mitsuki often succeeded. When it became increasingly apparently that Mi was never going to fulfill her mother's dreams, she was ignored and her mother's time and attention when to the other daughter.
The family also had a cat. It was a much-pampered, much-loved pet. Mi saw how every member of the family doted on the cat and she yearned for that sort of love and attention. She never got it. Thus started her desire to become a cat so that she, too, could be given love and attention. Despite the different ways that their parents treated them, Mi and Mitsuki were close. Mi is very proud of her sister's accomplishments while Mitsuki enjoys teasing her older sister, but is also very worried. Last year, in elementary school, Mi met a teacher who took more of an interest in her than anyone else had: Suzuki Aika. Mi often with to Ai with problems from home or from other students and she could always expect comfort and support from her teacher. Ai suggested that Mi get away from her family and learn to grow. She suggested Astraea Hill where she had gone to school. Knowing that Mi's family wouldn't help the expense, Ai changed jobs to return to Astraea Hill and is paying Mi's tuition. They are living together in an apartment off campus to cut down on the cost of boarding.

☆ SAMPLE POST ☆
Mi was comforted by the warmth wrapped around her hand. Otherwise, she might have been nervous to be in this new place so far from home and everyone that she knew. No, that wasn't true. There was someone here. She squeezed the warm hand around her own and looked up. Had she not known the figure towering beside her, so tall that it nearly blocked out the sun, she might have been intimidated. But Aika was more than a teacher, than a protector, or than a friend. This was a mother like the ones in her books. Aika looked down at her and Mi smiled assuringly. She wanted to make Aika proud. No matter what it took, Mi would be happy here and she would change. That was what Aika wanted and Mi would make sure it happened.
When Aika looked away, so did Mi. Out toward the large campus standing in front of her. Girls chatted in groups and walked toward the buildings in the distance. Would Mi ever become one of them? Did she want to? What did she really want to do here?
No, she knew what she wanted to do. More than anything, she wanted to find a window that overlooked the beautiful view, one that let in the sunlight. She wanted to sit beside it, bask in the sun's warmth, and take a nap. She yawned as Aika spoke. She didn't know what the woman asked her, but she responded anyway. "Yup!" she agreed. The green-haired girl shifted her weight and leaned against Aika. Whatever happened, it didn't matter as long as she had just one person who would say her name and acknowledge that she was here. She was alive and she was here.
