Is your character on the Student Council? No
If yes, what does your character think of the student council president?

What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole? CJ kind of sees the Etoile position as a dignified popularity contest.
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday? NO.
What does your character think of the current etoiles? Even though CJ doesn’t like the Etoile position as a whole, she cant help but look up to and admire Coyote. She plays hockey, shes strong, shes confident, shes everything CJ wants to be. Hiroko she thinks is rather forgettable.
What does your character think of the other schools? CJ doesn’t think much of what the other schools say they stand for; Miator is keeping “tradtions” that tie women to being submissive and weak, and LeRim takes nothing seriously and is too concerned with being “cute and carefree”. Of course, CJ realizes that this doesn’t necessarily apply to the students of said schools, but she dislikes them for standing for those standards.

Please write in 100 words or more your character's history before she came to Spica.
CJ was born to Jasmine and Eric Monroe, American activists who spent the majority of their marriage traveling the world. CJ herself was born in Guam, though she didn’t stay there long; her parents traveled with her, homeschooling her as they went. As a child, she loved traveling around, getting to see so many different places, experiencing the world in a way very few people did. Her father had a lot of money, inherited from his parents, so finances were never much of an issue as they traveled. She loved her parents and genuinely enjoyed the lifestyle she was living. As she got older she began to develop an interest in sports, especially hockey, and played with the local children wherever she went, even teaching them how to play on occasion.
When CJ was 7, she and her parents moved again, ending up in a small town in Africa. This wasn’t the first time they had been to the country, but this particular area was new to them. CJs parents spent a lot of time volunteering at schools, providing basic first aid medical attention, and the like while CJ explored the new area. About a month into the visit, CJs father came down with an extremely high fever which progressively got worse. Soon, he was vomiting, confused, developing skin rashes and complaining of a lack of vision. The little family left for the nearest hospital, which was a fair distance away. On the way there, CJ developed a severe headache and slight fever. By the time they arrived at the hospital, her symptoms had escalated to match her fathers.
The hospital was ill- equipped to deal with the illness, but they recognized it immediately; CJs mother was informed that her husband and daughter had contracted a strain of bacterial meningitis, a disease very common in African villages. CJ and her father were cared for as best they could, but ultimately they couldn’t save her father. CJ barely survived, but she was never the same again.
As soon as she was stable, CJs mother took her back to America, where she received terrible news; Due to the harshness of the disease and the low standards of care she had received, CJ had survived her meningitis with lesions on her brain. These lesions caused her to have severe muscle weakness in her legs, which meant she would have to wear legs braces or use a wheelchair for what was probably going to be the rest of her life. In addition, they found out that CJ had developed a rare form of Pragnosia known as Pure Alexia; the lesions on her brain made it impossible for the girl to process written words. She could write, and spell, and recognize words if you spelled them out for her verbally, but she could no longer read. She would also likely experience severe growth stunting, which she did, barely growing any taller then she was at seven. CJ, resentful and depressed, grew more introverted and hostile, snapping at her mother and others. This was common, they said, as meningitis also was known to cause personality changes. CJ grew to resent people trying to help her, insisting on doing everything herself even when she clearly couldn’t. She refused to use her wheelchair and, though her mother was loving and patient with her, distancded herself from her. She had to take a year away from being schooled in order to recover, having countless hours of physical therapy and doctors appointments, leaving her a year behind on her studies.
When she was 13, CJs mother heard about an experimental program that was studying those with meningitis damage, and trying to find ways to heal the damage. Her father in law was opening a branch of his company in Japan, and he offered her a fairly high- paying position. She excepted, and took her and CJ to Japan.

Cjs hands clenched into fists, her eyes narrowing with concentration. With a deep breath, she reached down and unclasped the supportive braces that wrapped themselves around her legs, providing the strength and support her muscles lacked. With careless attitude she tossed them aside, taking a deep breath before placing her hands flatly on the surfaces on either side of her. She pressed upwards, straining for a moment before stopping, her eyebrows knitting together in concentration. She gritted her teeth and pushed again, placing her weight on her hands and slowly lifting herself up from the chair she was sitting in.
Eventually, she was on her feet, but all of her weight was placed on her hands. Her arms shook with the effort and she groaned lightly from the effort. With a deep breath, she slowly moved one leg forward and stepped down, tranfering the weight from her hands to her leg.
The minute her lower limb tried to take any weight on it it gave out, her body pitching forward. She gasped and tried to grasp at anything around her, but it was too late; her legs were too weak to bear her weight without the braces and crutches she used. She fell forward, throwing her arms over her face as she fell and landed hard on the ground, face- first hitting the floor beneath her.
She stayed there for a moment, breathing hard, before she felt hands on her arms, trying to lift her up. She glared up and jerked her arms away. “I-I don’t need your help!” She snapped, sitting herself up on her arms again and turning her body over to sit on her backside. She then used her arms to shimmy herself over to a different shair and tried to pull herself back up, before collapsing again. Again, she was offered assistance but she refused. Eventually, she managed to drag herself back into the chair, feelings of frustration and anger flowing through her. She would do it, one day. They didn’t believe her, but she would. They’d see…
