School Attending: Lulim/ Le Rim
Age/ Year in School:
~ Appearance ~
Face Claim: Mana Takamiya - Date a Live
Hair Color: Hinata's hair is a blue color with a bit of purple tint to it. Completely natural, not dyed at all, thank you very much!
Hairstyle: Usually she keeps her hair in a ponytail, though she's also known to leave it simply hanging loose, especially if she's alone or just in her room. She always leaves her bangs hanging around her face, including down the middle of her face.
Eye Color: Hinata's eyes are a golden brown, amber color.
Height: Currently, she stands at five feet, two inches tall.
What kind of clothes does you character wear when she's not in uniform? Usually, she'll be seen in casual clothing, jeans, t-shirts, tank tops, and shorts, things of that nature. Of course, it's usually accompanied by a pale green jacket that her favorite (and only) uncle gave to her. Other than that, there's not particularly anything special about her clothes, she doesn't really care for brands and just likes simple, comfortable clothes. Skirts are something she tries to avoid though, for the most part, especially mini-skirts, they make her a little self conscious - naturally making wearing her uniform a little uncomfortable, which is why she almost never wears it unless she absolutely has to.

Is your character on the Student Council? Yes
If yes, what does your character think of the student council president? Hinata thinks Shun is a good, if highly eccentric, leader. The girl's magic tricks fascinate Hinata, and she finds the girl's somewhat mysterious air to add a certain inscrutability to her, making it difficult for Hinata to understand her thoughts.
Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more: Hinata is usually fairly happy and seemingly carefree, all to happy to make new friends and drag them into a theater to watch or act in a play. Of course, she's all too happy to go along with things that her friends suggest or want to do instead. In fact, to a certain degree, she has a bad habit of acting the way she thinks people want her to behave and go along with what they want. It's a bit of a side effect of her rather lonely childhood without a lot of friends or interactions. That aside though, Hinata really is sweet and wants to help out her friends and people close to her. She can definitely be a bit selfish, having been and only child and never really needing to share growing up, but she is trying her best to be a better person. Of course, all this is not even touching some of the other effects of her sheltered childhood. Hinata is about as naive and innocent as can be possibly imagined, and likely even more so than that. She honestly sometimes just doesn't get how the real world works, being too caught up in her plays or just not realizing that her ideas simply aren't at all feasible in actuality. Relationships also just fly over her head, and honestly she usually doesn't even realize that people are in relationships. In addition to her plays, she'll also often be found with her nose in a book, and would have joined the book club if she hadn't already picked up three other clubs. She's less than thrilled that she's not able to be in more than three clubs.
What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole? In all honesty, Hinata is a little confused by it. To her mind it makes sense to have people represent the best of the schools, but why just choose the two best friends from the schools rather than one representative from each? She just doesn't get it.
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday? Maybe, if she can make some good friends while at school.
What does your character think ofthe current etoiles? She finds Coyote quite heroic, easily the protagonist of a good play, and would really love to see her act in something, as it'd probably be quite good with her as the hero. Hiroko she feels a certain commonality with, a similar affinity for literature and a little socially awkward. She wouldn't mind getting to know either of them, they seem like nice people.
What does your character think of the other schools? Hinata find the rivalry between Miator and Spica to be quite poetic and that it's almost like something out of Shakespeare. Romeo and Juliet, perhaps, if it were a play. She finds Miator a bit restrictive, though, and dislikes its emphasis on wifely duties. She does like their uniform though, the skirts for Le Rim and Spica are just so short! Spica she finds a little too rough and tumble for her tastes, but respects the girls who go there.
~History~
History before Astraea Hill: In reality, if there's one way to describe Hinata's life, it's that it was quite lonely. The only child of parents who between the two of them, had one sibling, Hinata's family was very small. Her only uncle doted on her as if she were his own, but he was a traveler, and didn't spend much time in Japan. In addition, for all of her life until she was sent to Astraea, Hinata was homeschooled, leaving her chances for interaction with other children a little limited. So she turned to books, letting them take her to other worlds, but it was when she found plays and dramas that she found a way to break out of her shell. Acting became Hinata's passion, and she read and saw every play that she possibly could. She was fascinated by the theater, and her parents indulged her, signing her up for acting classes and youth theater troupes. It became her primary outlet for interacting with people her age, and she loved it. It was after these experiences that Hinata asked her parents to let her actually go to school rather than be homeschooled any longer. A fairly long argument followed in which Hinata's uncle took her side against her parents. Ultimately they agreed, but decided to send her to one of the more exclusive schools on Astraea hill, letting her choose which of the three. Naturally, she chose Le Rim.

Sample Post: The mirror reflected her image back at her, and hands tugged on the skirt, trying to pull it down to cover just a little more. 'Why does this skirt have to be so short?' Hinata thought to herself, slightly flushed in embarrassment. "How am I supposed to do anything in this outfit? I'm not even going to be able to walk outside on a windy day without showing people my underwear!" she whined, stepping back and slumping down in her chair, careful to cross her legs as she did so. Still, there wasn't much that could be done about it, she had chosen the school after all - and she finally was actually going to a school! No more homeschooling, spending most of the day alone with her work with only her parents for company. Oh sure, it would be a bit of an adjustment to a larger classroom, but that was something she could handle, no problem. Hinata was excited for this, looking forward to living on Astraea Hill and going to a private boarding school, and one with a theater club to boot! This was going to be great, she just knew it.
"Hinata, dear, are you ready to go?" Her mother's voice carried up the stairs and jolted the blue haired girl into action, springing from her chair to grab a few last things off her bed and stuff them into her suitcase before closing the thing up. "On my way, mom!" With a last glance over her shoulder, she grabbed the suitcase and darted out the door.
'Astraea Hill, here I come!'
