Almost an hour in the black town car that had picked the two girls up at the airport, gave Zephyra plenty of time to tie her stomach in knots over what Asami would think of her home. They were almost there.. It had gone silent in the car not too long ago and the lanky redhead had taken to staring out the window at the passing greenery. Her hands were curled in her lap, fidgeting with her coat's buttons in a most unladylike fashion as her teeth worried her lower lip. A slight shift in her posture and she glanced out the front window to see the iron gates leading to the drive up ahead on the right side. No more time to worry.. They were only fifteen minutes away from the mansion. The car pulled into the drive and the gates swung open to allow them passage. Finally her crimson gaze swept back over to Asami.
"Welcome to the Dónell Gable." Her smile was shakey at best and she soon fell back into silence as they glid up the driveway toward the manner.
The drive took them past a thickly wooded area that opened up to multiple offshoots through the hills toward the large barns in the distance where hundreds of horses could barely be seen picking at grass through the snow drifts. But the most prominent feature was the Victorian style home before them. Standing at three stories with a looping path before it's wide stairs.
The town car stopped at the stairs and Zeph opened her door, stepping out so she could open Asami's door as well before the driver even got the chance. Before Asami's door had swung fully open the front door was opened and a woman dressed in jeans and a button down rushed out, sprouting a rushed line of Gaelic. She was followed by a broading man in his late thirties. The redhead turned to the woman after helping Asami from the car.
"It is nice to see you as well, Bridgette. I've only been gone a few months and only grown a few centimeters.." She answered in fluent English, so as to not leave Asami out of the conversation. Zephyra bowed slightly at her waist toward the man. "Hello, Father. Bridgette, Father. This is Asami. My sempai from Miator." She turned back to Asami and smiled. "This is my personal maid, Bridgette Gallager and my father, Rhein Dónell."
"Tis a pleasure to meet you, Miss! I've heard all about ye! The Mistress is quite happy about making your acquaintance and only talks of you when she calls." Bridgette rushed in her normal fashion as Zeph turned a bright shade of red and ducked her head in embarrassment.
