Another day, another Tennis match. She gave a small smile to her opponent which then cracked into a competitive grin, a fire in her eyes.
"Sorry, but you're in my way. " She mouthed silently as she served the first ball. The ferocity in her serve was only made more apparent by the determined battle cry she released when she smashed the green target, sending it toward her adversary at heated speeds. The opponent had time to react, but rebounding the ball was painful. It nearly dented the racket from impact. Of course, not all her strikes were this dangerously powerful. As the exchange continued, she kept pace with the opponent, matching them at every return. The explosive serve was likely for intimidation. The fire in her eyes when she delivered the blow to score was intense, and the ball couldn't be caught after a spike like that even if it were a doubles match.
Eventually, she did claim victory, but she was not about to gloat. She made her way to her opponent and gave them a pat on the shoulder.
"Thank you. That was a good match. "
After the match, she found herself going over tactics in her head. Everything went well, for sure. The only thing she could improve on was her spikes. And this thought would be concluded early by a student coming by and congratulating her.
" I'm sorry, could you not talk to me right now? " she said slightly aggressively. "I've got things to do. Go play somewhere else."
The change in her attitude from on the court and off was staggering. This being her first match since she came to this school, she knew some would be surprised or even take interest in talking to her. However, she was busy thinking right now. She would have time to talk later. Her Spica debut was not something she wanted to make a big deal out of. Just get her name out there so she could eventually take on better opponents.
Anyone who dared talk to her now had best be prepared. One who engages a lion does not usually fair well.

Watching the game was an accident, she'd come to the gym to do some homework, but ot her surprise it was aready set up and ready for a game. Next thing she knew, she'd sat through the whole thing, being new, she didn't know who the favorites were but the red head down below certainly stood out. She noticed that after an especially powerful serve, something sparkly fell from her and lay glistening on the ground. the game ended and everyone cleared the court, ignoring the sparkling item on the ground.
Kisu had to do the right thing right? With her bag in toe at her side (its a messenger bag with keychains...cute ones), she went the court from the bleachers and retrieved it to see it was a small charm, probably froma necklace. What should I do? she wondered, then decided to take it to her.
Many people were congratulating her, but when Kisumi was close enough to say something she was cut off rather aggressively, go play somewhere else? Her face turned red,
"B-But you dropped uh...here."
She held out her hand with the charm in plain sight, she considered throwing it down and running away, instead she stood tehn and braced herself to get yelled at.

She still didn't get it, she insisted on prodding the lion. The was playing with fire and she was going to understand that immediately.
"First of all, you address me as Raion-San." She said sternly, folding her arms and turning to face the girl. To her surprise, the girl was physically older than herself. In Vincenness, this would mean-- "Actually, just Raion." Younger students were not given an honorific. "Second, I specifically told you to go away."
She wasn't trying to be malicious. Her internal reasoning was that she needed to think over her challenger mentally in order to fully assess the match. She had no time for interruption. That said, her phrasing was definitely harsher than it should have been. Even to her, things seemed harsh.
"Look, I'm not trying to be hostile but this had better be good. You're distracting--" she noticed her locket. Had it fallen off? She would need a new chain then.
"A-ah... That's..." She immediately halted in her tracks. That locket is what she put her engagement ring in when she was doing any activity that may swell her hands. She couldn't say that though- that wouldn't be information other people needed to have. Instead, she just took it and bowed.
"Fine. You're forgiven." She said instead of being thankful. "But don't get the wrong idea. I'm grateful, but that's all. You may give me your name now."
whoever this his girl was had caught her in a lucky moment she couldn't turn her away at. Ordinarily shed chew girls like this up and spit them out and they'd never bother her again. But she would allow this one a while longer. Friends was a bit too much to do right now where she was more interested in enemies to challenge, but she would at least call this girl someone she didn't immediately want to chase away. She could easily lose that privilege though, since The Lion was untamed and ready to roar at any and every opposition. There was a glint in her eye just thinking about it - a certain fire that only came to her when a challenge was yet to be met.
"And make it quick, before I change my mind."

"K-Kissu...."she cleared her throat, embarrassed that her name almosed sounded like a certain romantic gesture, "Kisumi, my name is Kisumi," she shifted her bag, clutching the strap with slender fingers. The harsh way of the girl's tone was something she was used to at her old school, and she reacted in her usual way as she would have then, "I just, um, thought you might need that back...seemed important so uh...I guess I'll be going."
She turned but just then the strap of her bag gave way and tore off, sent her bag tumbling to the ground, pencils and school books went out in every direction, the boyish girl feel to her knees frantically trying to gather the rolling pencils. Her collection of plush keychains went askew as well.
"S-Sorry!" she said, trying to catch everything and looking rather silly, "Let me just, I mean I'll get this and- Ah!"
A pink cat plush keychain slipped out of her grip and flipped up into the air, if no one did anything, it would surely plunk the red head right on the forehead.

At first, she was annoyed. This ludicrous display of clear inferiority was pathetic. She appreciated the gesture though, so she sighed and shook her head. The girl dismissed herself, which was nice. But the way she did it was, well... At first, there was surprise. Then slight annoyance again. Then, finally, laughter. Not a girly giggle or anything of the sort. Hearty, full laughter that was unbecoming of a lady. She quickly caught herself and her Vincennes manners came back to her. Ladies don't laugh like hyenas!
Still, she couldn't stave off the occasional chuckle the bubbled up as she made her approach again.
"God, you're helpless." she shook her head. "Here."
She bent down to assist in picking up the girl's belongings and found herself making tsk noises. What was this?
"I wasn't laughing at you, by the way. I was laughing at the situation." she offered some of the school items back to the girl. "Alright, you win. You got me in a good mood. Don't let it go to your head." as she said this, she clutched some of the items in her arms. "Where are you going? I'll go with you and then challenge someone else."

There was a moment of horror when the girl starte laughing, but it wasnt a cruel sound, not like the bullies back home. She let out a breath that was almost a laugh, though her face was still red she accepted her things, stuffing them back in her bag. She...put this person in a better mood? If she wasn't red already...
"I was just trying to find a place to do homework, I don't like my dorm, it's too...I don't know, but I like the gym..I didn't know there was a game here today, I'l still pretty new."
She clipped her keychains on the opposite side of the strap and tehn went to tying the broken strap into a makeshift hold. "Don't worry about laughing, I used to get bullied at my old school so I'm sort of used to it, I don't mind it if it's not mean I guess."
She hoisted up her bag, and took a few steps toward the gym floor again, "It's cold outside, maybe I'll try the cafe? I guess I could use something hot to drink."
(gonna use this to get yukari in here)

"Bullies are vermin." she growled. No, seriously, she growled out the word vermin, as if she were some kind of animal. "If you're going to attack someone, let them be on your level at least. Nobody should challenge someone weaker than they are. It's..." she scoffed.
"Nevermind. Let's get moving."
Clearly the idea of an unfair fight bothered her if the challenger was at an advantage. The only people who should issue challenges should be at equal or lesser level to the person they challenge. That's the only way to honorably compete. But that's for another day. For now, she nodded. The cafe sounded good to her. She still had the aroma of activity, but she wouldn't be one to care. Besides, it was masked by the smell of jungle wildflowers which she had as a shampoo scent. Don't ask where she got it, I'm just sticking to the Lion motif.
"I could eat a horse. Let's go. " She said, enforcing my Lion statement as well as furthering the plot. Now that the heat of battle was behind her, she was calming her aggro enough to make idle conversation easily. Still, one shouldn't expect her to be this friendly with everyone. This was a one time thing, so don't get the wrong idea, baka.
