Shift forward with the right and push off with the left. Distribute every aspect of weight evenly... And glide. It was all about finding the center of balance. She knew the aspects better than the back of her own hand. She relayed them through her mind endlessly as she watched every scrabbling girl attempt to conquer the skating rink to no avail. Once or twice one would conquer the uphill battle of balancing, only to push off and collapse onto the ground in inelegant displays of miscalculations. Their balance was off. Too folded inward to be able to skate properly. Not doubt probably due to fear of the painful fall waiting for them if they incorrectly distributed their weight, obviously forgetting to plug balance into the equation. And no one knew balance better than Raiko, or as most knew her, Hope.
The blonde looked on with an almost humorous smirk from the sanctuary of a lone table looking directly into the spacious rink. She wasn't even sure why she had chose to come to the rink in the first place, really, but now that she was here, she had decided to observe the other girls' comedic attempts. A few times she wished to get up and charge over like a knight in shining armor and help them up, but a girl with prosthetic legs was viewed as virtually helpless out on the slippery rink. That wouldn't stop her, however. She was pretty sure she could still skate if she wanted too, albeit it would be very humorous to watch, not to mention put her in the uncomfortable spot of looking like a dancing chicken as she tried to control her fake legs. Though she hadn't the correct ones on right now, she had brought another pair built for physical activities, which she kept secure in a large black duffle bag beside her. Now how creepy would it be to open up a bag and see a pair of legs, although false, laying in the bottom? The thought was enough to make the girl chuckle.
Balance was the key element in this activity. Everyday was a balancing act for Hope. Every second of her time standing up was focused on maintaining a key center balance to keep upright on her prosthetic legs. The metal ones, which she was wearing now, especially. In time, it all became mechanical to her, and she barely paid any attention to the focus put into it anymore. Elementary, it was now.
Crash!
Another loud thud rang throughout the noisy rink as another girl succumbed to her miscalculation and collided with the slippery rink floor. Hope blinked and instantly shot up from the table at the impact. That was loud! Not to mention it sounded like it really hurt! Concerned, the girl abandoned her table and peered into the rink, blonde pigtails slipping over her shoulders and dangling in front of her like golden tassels. Fortunately, the girl wasn't too far from the edge of the rink's opening. The girl looked familiar to her, yet she was having trouble supplying a name. She was sure she had seen her somewhere before. Without even stopping to think first, Hope leapt ungracefully onto the smooth floor, nearly face planting when her metal artificial limbs contacted it. Just keep concentrating on balance... You can do this! Now crouched low, she compressed her spine and approached the girl, straightening to half her full height when she succeeded in reaching her.
"Goodness, that was quite a fall there, miss! Need some help?" She offered a hand and a friendly smile, hoping she didn't look too alarming with the prosthetics. They were turned inwards as to keep herself from slipping but she still quivered every once in a while in concentration.
(I apologize if this start borders on power play. If you would like me to change it, just let me know!)

Smiling she let a laugh leave her lips as she stood, a tad to realistic as she left a small line of blood leave the cut in her lower lip. She whipped it away " that could have gone better "
She mumbled to her self " if I ever want this comedy on ice to prove my dad this is what I should do then I need to do it with a little less pain owww....".
She hadn't realized she wasn't just talking to air as a young lady came to her aid with metal legs? As she sat up to face the girl she blushed here was a girl who had come to help her thinking the worse and she was laughing, " You must think I'm crazy I'm Koneko and-oh aren't you the girl from the beach ? " Koneko tried to stand but her fake fall that turned to real hurt a tad more then she had planned. Taking the girls hand she gave a goofy smile which said two things sorry I am a dork and I am highly embarrassed. Not realizing her lip was bleeding again.
( I'm just sorry its short I kind of used what you said to fit what I think shed be doing ..hehe hope you don't mind .)

The girl seemed to be mumbling to herself. Something about a comedy? Was that a staged fall? It appeared so, yet the smile never left Hope's lips when the girl took her hand. "You? Crazy? You are far from that, Koneko-san." She said with a soft chuckle. "And correct, I am."
With a muffled grunt of effort, she shifted her weight to the strong remainder of her legs and pulled the girl to her feet. She had unconsciously grabbed on with her other hand as well in a hidden attempt to stabilize herself. Once she went down, there was little chance of her getting back up. Especially with the pair of prosthetics she had selected to wear. They had good grip on the bottom, as they functioned as all-terrain, but place them on a slippery surface such as ice, and they betrayed their manufactured purpose. They weren't too adept at providing much balance on the surface either. She found the required shift of weight being pulled in a multitude of different directions every second on the rink floor even when she stood still. Yet she had charged out onto the ice without proper preparation or forethought. If anyone was the crazy one here, it was her. Not to forget extremely foolish.
It was in that moment that she noticed the girl's lip was bleeding. She frowned a little. "Ouch, you're bleeding. Here-" She paused and reached into the pocket of her black cat-eared jacket, producing a white handkerchief which she handed generously to the girl. "This should help."
After another slight pause, she laughed and added, "If you are going to fall for a purpose, you should fall a little bit off to the side to cushion the impact. It'll give the same effect, but shouldn't risk too much of an accidental injury."
(It's perfectly alright. No worries!)

Koneko polity took the fabric and held it too her lip , the other girl was quite a help as she told her a better way to fall. A better way to fall seemed so silly. " Thanks for the tip I think I may try it out but... Maybe later haha"
With that she rubbed the back of her head the fall had her a bit dizzy. " Here lets get off this ice"
Not wanting to make a big deal in the fact she could tell Hope was having a bit of issues keeping her own valence Koneko held out her hand for her quietly. " So my savor what has brought you to the ice rink?"

"Hehe, you're welcome."
She watched the girl put the cloth to her lip, offering a boyish smile all the while. Koneko didn't seem to be hurt all that bad, which was good. Only that split lip. Well, maybe some internal dizziness too, but that was common when one lost their balance and fell. At least to Hope it was common. Maybe not to other people. The girl next suggested that they maybe get off the ice. Hope tried not to show how relieved she was - she was actually kind of afraid of falling right now. Especially since she hadn't gotten the chance to get up and go out for a while because of the snow. She couldn't walk too well with those prosthetic legs in the snow. That didn't necessarily mean she wouldn't charge off into it like a fool and try, though. Such was her nature.
A hand was offered to her and she lowered her head in almost sheepish embarrassment. So the girl had noticed her balance issues eh? It was pretty obvious, of course, but she couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed that they were noticed. With a little internal hesitation, she took the girls hand and grinned.
"Thank you, Koneko-san." She beamed. The question that ensued next made her laugh softly. Savior might be a bit too noble of a title. "Haha, just watching everyone. It's nice to just get out every once and a while and just observe, you know?"
She held onto the girl gently as she began to slide towards the exit of the rink, concentrating on her movements. How long had it been since she had had to really think about her balance like this? A pretty long time. She laughed at herself.
"What brings you to the rink?" She asked, making sure to catch her balance before she looked back at the girl.
