The maroon eyed girl ran as fast as she could from her relaxation spot, trying to avoid being seen by any of the teachers. She had skipped her last class of the day and spent that time hiding in the library, perusing the cookbooks once more. She had discovered a brand new recipe she had to try out today and she wasn't going to let anyone stop her, especially the faculty.
Miyako panted as she stumbled into the cooking club, her newest cookbook by her side. Today was the day she was going to crack this recipe. She slapped her book on the table and flipped open to the page she dog eared. It wasn't exactly her book, but nobody really looked at the things, besides her. The brunette began to dig around in the refrigerator, checking for the ingredients for her latest concoction. She grabbed some yogurt, assorted fruits, and ice, tossing them in a blender. “Okay...” she muttered to herself, tying her hair up as she skimmed the recipe one more time.
Her attempt today was a smoothie cake, which was as strange as it sounded. The girl exhaled quietly as she closed her eyes, feeling rather peaceful before starting her cooking. Miyako put on her apron, quickly knotting the ties in the back, and added the ingredients for her smoothie, before remembering she needed to get the cake parts for her cake. She went to gather the flour, baking soda, among other things. She wrapped them all up in her arms and slowly walked back to her book and blender, making sure she wasn't dropping anything from her pile. “I hope this tastes good...” she thought to herself, smiling behind the stack of ingredients.
