Sweat rolled down sliding into the slit of her lips as she breathed in she could taste the saltiness as she ran. Her feet pounded against the light colored dirt. letting a light dusting fly up she moved her arm across her forehead sliding the sweat away. She'd been running for an hour round and round not allowing her speed to let up. As usual she was thinking of that day, home alone with her grandmother when the stroke happened the cookie rack hitting the ground, running into the room Akira fell to her knees holding the phone tight as a voice vibrated out of it, three simple numbers where on the bright screen 911.
Her best friend her loved grandmother was then gone in moments. After that Akira felt lost somehow what they had was true love not the romantic type no this was love that could never be replaced one of friendship a family bond that meant so much to the girl. Akira Took up all she could to get past it. She remembered running as far as she could after the funeral. Even now running was the one thing that helped, It helped when other things didnt even when she started to get into fights. Running was like a different world she could do it without thinking. She could spend that time thinking of the good memories with her grandmother.
If someone where to watch this it was like a merry go round a white horse going around and around never stopping that is until it was shut down. Tripping she skidded across the ground she only breathed out in a sigh and rolled to her back letting a few scraps bleed she took a few deep breaths sweat mingled with tears wiping them away she stood letting a smile fall to her lips. Yet another good run.
If someone watched on they would be rather confused wouldn't they ?
