Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more:
Takara is often described as a few sweet and caring girl. She would never give the impression that she would so much as hurt a fly. In fact, she's always the first to try and administer aid to anyone who might be hurt. Which she has done a few more times than she would like to admit. This can be traced back to her love of Kung-Fu movies. Much like her father, Takara has a very deep and passionate obsession. But, while her father has taken his obsession to baseball and the Hanshin Tigers, Takara is obsessed with film. Specifically, she finds a particular interest in the Kung-Fu genre.
While she does not appear to be much of a fighter, her looks are quite deceiving. Takara has practiced very hard to imitate the moves she has watched on TV and in movie theaters. And her training has served her a bit too well. For Takara, these moves are second nature. And when taken by surprise, she tends to act before she can think. Often leading to accidently flipping people to the ground and nearly (if not outright) hitting them. She's often very apologetic about this, because she truly doesn't want to hurt anyone.
Takara generally likes people and maintains a rather positive outlook on life. Although she is a bit soft spoken and can appear shy, Takara does exude a very warm and friendly energy. Takara is also very trusting and can be a little bit naïve. She likes to believe in the best of people.
What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole? She finds the position to be such a lovely ideal! Imagine two people who share such a deep connection and can display such a level of trust. And on top of that, they want to share it with everyone to lead by way of example? Such people must be incredibly passionate!
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday?
She's unsure if she could ever run for that kind of position.
What does your character think of the current etoiles?
There is a tie between two Etoiles? How exciting! While she is very sure that all four a very nice people, she can't help but admire how elegant Alice is. Such a sense of style and grace! And Aideen? She finds her absolutely charming and incredibly dashing!
As for the Miator side of the tie, Takara thinks of Ayuki as very cute, if not rather shy. Then again, her shyness does seem to enhance how adorable she comes across. As for Akemi...that girl is rather puzzling to Takara. But, who is she to judge someone's passion! She finds herself fully in support of Akemi's ambitious nature.
What does your character think of the other schools? Why can't all the schools get along! They all have such wonderful things to offer each other. From Le Rim's lovely art, to Spica's fantastic displays of athletic ability and Miator's rich tradition.
~History~
Please write in 100 words or more your character's history before she came to Miator:
History before Astraea Hill:
The Kaneshiro family has made a quite a name for itself in recent years. In the business world, Hideaki Kaneshiro almost came out of no where. A man from an average family that owned a struggling micro-brewery for a few years. Hideaki took over and thanks in part ot the timing and his skill with numbers, he was able to turn Kaneshiro Ji Biru into one of the top breweries in the country.
Hideaki always good with statistics and numbers and became a pretty savvy businessman as he took the reigns of the company. Growing up, he was a big baseball fan and specifically followed the Hanshin Tigers. Even to this day, he is still a devoted fan of the baseball team and never misses a game, whether it's on TV or at the stadium.
His newfound success also brought Hideaki into different circles. It was at a fundraiser that he met his future wife, Kimiko Yamauchi. The Yamauchi family had always been one of wealth and of high standing. And under most circumstances would likely not find a man like Hideaki suitable for marriage. Still, there was no denying his success.
Soon after they were married, Takara was born. Kimiko was very happy to have a daughter, but as she grew up, it became obvious that she took after her father. But, while her father loved baseball, Takara's love was for the cinema. And even more specifically, she loved Kung Fu films. From an early age, she would be glued to that screen, watching and soaking in all of the action.
And as she grew up, she imitated the moves she saw and trained herself very hard. As much as Kimiko would chide her for indulging in such “unladylike” activities, her father openly encouraged her passions.
Concerned that this would hamper Takara's ability to find a good husband, Kimiko and her family decided to arrange a marriage. They found a family of equal standing that they were sure would benefit the Yamauchis. And...sure, it would also help the Kaneshiros, too.
However, their plans hit a little bit of a speed bump. When meeting with the family, Takara was left alone with the boy who would become her fiance. He was not a particularly nice boy. During the course of their interaction, he became very pushy. And when that passed into a more literal sense, Takara...well, acted out of instinct.
The broken nose he suffered did not help endear Takara to the family. That avenue closed, Kimiko decided that perhaps she should spend some time at St. Miator. They had considered having her attend, before. After all it was the school she had attended, herself.
And that was how Takara entered her first year at Astraea Hill. Fresh off an altercation with a potential fiance. Although, she does look forward to meeting lots of new people and hopefully making lots of friends!
First Year: As far as starting new schools went, Takara could not imagine things getting off to a better start than they did at St. Miator. The blonde was fortunate enough to be paired with a very pretty and nice roommate, who was quite the dancer! She also managed to (sort of) make friends with a foreign girl, who went to St. Spica, named Lorelei, and even helped her with an art project at the zoo. Through her roommate, Michiru, Takara met yet another Spican girl. This was a bold and very outspoken girl named Haruka, whom she immediately found to be irresistibly cute. In spite of the almost one sided nature of their relationship, it does seem that the two are growing a little closer.
Of course, the one thing that Takara has in common with both Haruka and Michiru, is an affection for a self-titled Grand Prince of St. Miator. One Ubu Miyase, who fate threw into her bedroom to hide in her closet, while hiding from Nazis...at least that's the way Ubu described the girls pursuing her. The adventurous silvernette captivated Takara's imagination and the more time she spent with the girl, the stronger she felt. Ubu was a kind and courageous girl, who seemed to be able to attract the attention of a number of girls. This was not something Takara minded. After all, the other girls were very nice and she enjoyed their company. It also meant she could spend more time with her roommate and Haruka, too! So, it was really a win-win.
Some time after the Winter Ball, when she was able to spend time with the other girls, one of their party, a shy albino named Cece had a rather traumatic run-in with an upperclassman. Concerned for the girl's well being, she decided to ask for her father's assistance. He was more than willing to help secure the cabin they would use over the summer. In spite of some signs of a break-in at the beginning, it appeared that they would have the privacy they would need.
And to cap it all off, Ubu showed her appreciation of Takara's efforts and rewarded the blonde with a lovely bracelet that once belonged to a Pirate Queen (as Ubu tells it) and...Takara's first kiss!

Sample Post: So this is was St. Miator. The alma matter of her mother? Located on Astraea Hill! It was absolutely gorgeous! The uniforms were beautiful. And, to tell the truth, Takara couldn't say she didn't find the other schools to be very cute. Takara smiled and blushed to herself as she walked along the campus.
Sure, she felt bad about breaking that boy's nose. But, now she got to attend this nice school! And there were so many other girls who looked very cute in those cute uniforms, too! Takara began to hum happily to herself and there seemed to be an added skip to her step.
First, she would have to go and pick up those uniforms for herself and then she would have to go find her room. She wondered what her roommate would be like and determined that they would get along very well, in spite of not having a shred of evidence to back that thought up. There were just too many things to look forward to. She had even signed up to be a maid! That would be quite an adventure.
