Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more:
A shadow at the fringes of society, Keiko often will prefer to be alone rather than in another’s company. When introducing herself, she will often say, “I am Sasameku. Keiko “Sasameku” Kure. Please refer to me as Sasameku.” If one is to ever refer to her – even by accident – by her first name, she will become cold and distant, and try to push that person away. To give permission to someone to even call her by her first name would require trust, which is hard to gain from her.
If approached or spoken too, Keiko will politely engage in conversation. She is polite and elegant, but not afraid to play a trick on someone if she is feeling mischievous. She often carries around with her a deck of personalized playing cards which she will occasionally whip out at these times. It is because of her fondness of these cards, that Keiko will sometimes call others by a "card name" rather than their real name. (Example: “Queen of Hearts”, “Mistress of Spades”, “Maiden of the Ace”, “Princess of Clubs,” etc.)
A rather strange depiction of her personality, Keiko wears a bell as an earring on her right ear to help herself feel not as by herself as well as help herself not to scare the living daylights out of others. Being incredibly quiet when walking, she is guilty of almost scaring the death out of others by suddenly appearing out of nowhere, so she wears the bell so that others may know she is coming. That particular bell holds many past memories to her, as well...
What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole?
Keiko thinks the Etoile position is a little pointless, and it seems like just a huge pageant to her. She admires the couples’ devotion to each other, however, but would never openly admit it.
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday?
She thinks it to be kind of a pointless position and she would very much dislike all the attention the position brings, but she would not mind possibly attempting it if the opportunity arose and she trusted someone enough.
What does your character think of the current etoiles?
Etoile election is currently in progress.(Should I write about the previous Etoiles?)
What does your character think of the other schools? Keiko views Spica as too focused on independence and less focused on overall morals while she views Lulim as a bit laidback and too easygoing.
~History~
History before Astraea Hill:
Please write in 100 words or more your character's history before she came to Miator:
Keiko grew up in a small town in Aomori, Japan under the loveless care of her parents. By the time she could walk, she was trained to be a woman of utmost quality; a successor to the mindless drones of the Kure family. Forced to play at violin and piano recitals, practice tea ceremony, partake in official meetings, and focus on schoolwork, Keiko had nearly no time to herself. One night, when she was ten years old, she refused to play at a piano recital, and her parents beat her mercilessly, dubbing her as a disgrace to the Kure family. This frightened Keiko and she slowly began to become bitter and distant to others as this sort of treatment became common among her daily family life.
When she was nearly ten, her parents sent her off to a private girl’s boarding school where she continued her studies. She did not see her parents over these two years, and when she came back from the lonely school, they were delighted by her transformation into that of a true woman. Eager to display the shimmering jewel of their work and for their daughter to continue her studies, they enrolled her at St. Miator Girl’s Academy at Astrea without her consent. Thus, she was whisked away to the boarding school. Along with her now ladylike perfection, however, came an imperfection they were quite not aware of… And it went by “Sasameku."

How tiring!
Keiko slammed her ghostly pale fists down on the piano keys as she failed to complete the melody for the seventeenth time in a row. A chaotic screaming harmony of notes shivered into the tense atmosphere, bringing a disgruntled frown to her onlooker. Frustrated, she began again despite her aching finger’s screams of protest. They were slightly numb and thin threads of blood were collecting in the shafts of her painted nails. It leaked onto the brilliant white keys, threatening to seep into the spaces in between.
A sour note suddenly shrieked from the interior of the piano. Again she had failed… The black haired girl arched over the piano, gritting her teeth and squeezing her eyes shut while slowly withdrawing her hands from the white keys, the fragile bell rattling emptily in her ear.
“Wretched girl. If you cannot keep that ugly temper in check, what kind of woman will you be? Play it again. And get that disgusting blood off the keys!”
Again…
Keiko rose defiantly with purpose, knocking over the piano bench in the process. Such an act was quite unbefitting of a woman, let alone one of the Kure household. Wordlessly, she proceeded to walk off, the bell jingling and jingling with each fiery stride.
“Keiko? Keiko, come back here this instant you desolate child! KEIKO!”
A tense hand suddenly gripped her arm and she was whirled around to receive a stinging slap on the face. Insults aimed to hurt showered over her like acid rain all accompanied by such a disdainful teary face. Keiko lowered her head and let out a pent-up static murmur:
“Sasameku…”
