It was really tough to shoulder the load of being the Spica Student Council President as well as a prominent member of the Marital Arts and Equestrian clubs. Perhaps the main reason a particular girl in those clubs might be prominent is that she happened to be the president of the student council. Otherwise Himiko probably wouldn't stand out other than being a hard worker and notoriously open with her emotions. Sometimes girls found this endearing, sometimes unnerving. Lately she'd been busier than usual, throwing herself fully into the business of the student council with an enthusiasm and thoroughness strange even for her. Always the first to arrive in the student council chambers and the last to leave. Often she'd been back to the dorms just barely before curfew or with a special note from the staff so the nuns would be understanding of her tardiness. All Himiko existed to do these days was work of one kind or another. If there was no paperwork to be done or meeting to be held she'd got off to practice her martial arts. Of course she still looked after her horse but hardly ever went riding these days.
Maybe because it felt sad to just be riding alone. Funny, that, since she'd been riding for a while and never before had any problems going out for a long solo jaunt along with her high-maintenance steed. Nowadays she just didn't have the heart for it. Lately she'd noticed herself getting upset at things much more quickly than she really should. Anger was as honest emotion as they came but there was deceit hiding in hers; it hid how lonely she felt. She had friends aplenty on the council but the one who was most important to her had been incredibly busy lately. Homura. Her lovely girlfriend had been so busy they barely saw each other and certainly hadn't had any dates. In fact she couldn't remember the last time she'd seen the girl. A part of Himiko had been ripped out by that absence and the only way to fill it was extra work, extra duty, extra frustration. Going by honest feelings she felt angry at the world for being alone again. Her heart ached every day. Crying in front of others hadn't been a problem before but now she tried to do it in secret. To be strong, she had to lean heavily on the warrior culture she'd been so inspired by before. So she walked out in front of Spica, getting some rare morning air as she carried a rather unimportant file in her arms. Its delivery could be delayed for a while but she had time. Why not now?
"nIteb yIt SuvwI'. Hoch vaj," she muttered, keeping her head down as she fought back more tears.

With her umbrella up and shielding what little of her pale skin that showed from the sun, Cecilia was quietly making her way across Astraea hill without too much trouble. Well, disregarding the fact that she was on St. Spica's campus when she'd been trying to get to LeRim. She had a period of, so she figured she'd make her way over to LeRim and say hello to Kanako-oneesama. And maybe get lunch with her. However, with her lack of knowledge of Astraea, she'd somehow found herself in the middle of Spica's campus with no idea of how to get back to Miator or to get over to LeRim.
Naturally, this was making the little albino rather nervous- and she didn't have any friends who went to Spica to help her out. So, taking a very deep breath to try and steady herself, she decided she would just have to ask somebody for help. 'Okay, Cecilia, it won't be that difficult. I'm sure there'll be people as nice as Kanako-oneesama or Ubu-chan here as well.' Taking another few deep breaths and praying to God that she didn't have an attack right now, Cece decided to approach one of the girls who was by herself- she wouldn't be interrupting a conversation that way. Though the girl did seem to be muttering something to herself.
Once she got close enough, Cecilia almost lost her nerve again, and could barely stammer out her question. "U-u-uhm, e-e-excuse m-me, b-but c-could you h-help me? I-I'm k-kind of l-lost…" She drifted off, hoping that the older girl had gotten the point.

Any other day would have seen the wayward Miator girl greeted by a helpful Spica president who'd go out of her way to ensure any and all concerns were addressed. Maybe even have offered her some tea from the cafe with some cake. Emotionally distressed as she was Himiko was not in the mood to be helpful or even all that pleasant to some stranger. Even as she had bitter feelings towards the newcomer Himiko knew the feelings to be wrong. There was no way you should treat someone so poorly just because you were in a bad mood yourself; making someone else's day miserable out of your own anxiety and tears wasn't going to make you any better. Probably just make her feel much more miserable than before once she fully processed how she was acting towards a younger girl who needed her help.
Instead of listening to her doubts Himiko instead slowly turned her head so she could see the poor little thing standing there. The president's expression was stern, even angry as she regarded Cece on the pathway. Mind in full Klingon mode she first identified the girl's school: Miator. Miator was the rival of Spica and therefore it was suspicious that one of its students just happened to get lost near the Spica president. Not just a girl but an odd looking one with incredibly pale skin, white hair and red eyes.. and was that an umbrella? Why was she carrying an umbrella on a day like this? From the bottom of her wounded heart came a rage she never thought would surface just because some Miator had decided to come onto Spica's turf. All the same she couldn't control herself and folded her arms on her chest as she glowered down at the unfortunate little thing.
"nuq SoH Data' naDev Ha'DIbaH? ghoqwI' Miator?" she growled, instinctively falling back on Klingon, "qatlh pumta' ra'wI' ghaH SoH? nuq So' SoH tlhIH'a'?! wej 'oy' yIHot SuvwI' DaSov!"

While the words were unintelligible to her, there was no way Cecilia could misunderstand the tone it was spoken with. After all, she'd heard that tone enough at home whenever her father was irritated or worse with her. Instinctively she shrunk back, her eyes already welling with tears as she frantically tried to figure out what she'd done or said to make this girl upset with her. It didn't take her long to realize that she did recognize ONE word: Miator. Was this girl so upset with her because she was of the rival school?
Her hands were shaking as they gripped the handle of the umbrella that much tighter as she tried to apologize. "I-I'm s-s-sorry! I-I d-didn't m-mean t-to bother you." Her words were rushed as she attempted to correct whatever misstep she'd made. And Cecilia honestly had no idea what she'd done. "I-I-I j-just w-want to get b-back to M-Miator." Her voice faded to an almost inaudible whisper by the end of her request, and her eyes were brimming with unshed tears. How had this gone so wrong?

Anger had overtaken the Spica president for a moment because of the sadness she felt over the collapse of what she'd thought was a fine romance. Taking that despair out on the first girl who'd happened across her path was hardly the appropriate way to handle the situation. Even a dedicated warrior leader shouldn't act in such a reprehensible manner just because emotions they denied were clouding their judgment. She could see through the veil of her base passions that this little Miator girl was quite upset over the ordeal. Himiko was starting to get control over herself again but this was becoming somehow disconcerting for her. As she calmed down the Spica president recognized that she was at fault and would probably have to apologize to the poor little girl. Yet the girl just reacted as if this was all her own fault instead of that of the person who'd gotten upset at her. Why was she so upset? This wasn't her fault! It wasn't fair to herself to place the blame like that when clearly the blame rested with Himiko.
Driven by her being upset at Cece being upset, Himiko continued on in her fictional tongue, gesturing wildly, "qatlh vaj upset SoH? vaj QeH jIH, wej belHa' legh! 'IHqu' vaj pagh meq vaj vaj 'IQ tu'lu'. Qo' jaj Qugh, 'ach chenmoH vIleghjaj, qoH SoH! nuv qab SoH chenmoH 'IQ... neH Suq wItI'nISmo' Miator ngejtaH 'oH chenmoH jIH Qugh, 'ach!"

The fact that the girl she was faced with kept speaking the strange language the Cecilia couldn't understand didn't put her any more at ease, and the flailing gestures made her even more nervous. Cece was desperately trying to figure out what she had done wrong, and was coming up empty. Then the girl said "Miator" again, and that was enough for Cece.
"I-I'm s-s-s" She broke off her attempted apology and turned and ran, not knowing where to, and just wanting to get away. As she ran, a few tears started to make their way down her cheeks, and she very quickly found herself lost. She slowed to a walk and ascertained immediately that she had no idea where she was. The few tears increased, and she wished she hadn't tried to go see Kanako-oneesama.
Back in the courtyard, another Spica student had seen the exchange between the two girls and looked confusedly after the Miator first year before turning toward her schoolmate. "Geez, Prez, wasn't that a bit harsh? What'd the little girl even do?" she asked, genuinely confused.
