What kind of clothes does you character wear when she's not in uniform?
Most of her wardrobe consists of comfortable and yet well worn clothes. Perhaps it's because it's so comfortable that it got so well worn. Either way, she enjoys her ripped jeans and concert tees. Margeaux almost universally insists on wearing her favorite hat. A cap with animal ears and two pins attached, it is most often found atop a messy portion of hair and obscures the black eyepatch she wears over her left eye (though, not very well). Track jackets also appear to be a favorite form of apparel, that Margeaux usually wears with anything she can manage.

Is your character on the Student Council? -She cannot be the Student Council President, but she can be a member of the council if you choose. (Note. she can be vote into the president position later, but you can't start out as president.)
If yes, what does your character think of the student council president, Junko Hiruko? -Answer pending on election -
Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more:
Margeaux has a bit of a temper. Not bad one. It's quick to blow, but fizzles out quickly. She's quite unlike her cousin, Axelle, in that she tends to be very vocal and has little reservations. This is more out of being hard headed, than being more confident, though. She does have her share of insecurities.
Much of her temper comes from being easily embarrassed. Which tends to add to her embarrassment, so it really isn't all that productive. Margeaux prefers to be in control of what goes on around and whenever something happens to mess that up, she tends to get rather flustered. And whenever she does lose her cool, she more often than not tends to regret it and second guesses herself.
Where she does share similarities with her cousin, is a certain level of clumsiness (which she is never quick to admit to) and the fact that she is most comfortable with music. She has picked up the family tradition of playing guitar, with a soft spot for blues and rockabilly. Although, this isn't the limit to her musical tastes. Her collection of music tends to be wide and ecclectic.
Beyond an interest in the family trade, Margeaux's passion for music also coincides with her synesthesia. As a sound to color synesthete, Margeaux is able to visualize sound as a wave pattern, that is often colored. Most random sounds are gray, but she often views notes and tones in wide array of colors.
Orange sounds are far from her favorite, but she does love those green sounds. She's often at her calmest when she's playing or listening to music.
What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole?
It's a position for the ambitious and those friendly outgoing types. Margeaux doesn't see what makes it so special. And why would you need a partner for such a role? Besides, there's too much gossip around the people interested in the position or who actually hold it for her tastes.
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday?
“Who's got time for all that nonsense?”
Margeaux isn't one for politics. She hardly has the temperament for it. Nor does she have the patience. After all, she's much better with music than she could ever be leading all three schools.
What does your character think of --- and ---, the current etoiles? (Answer is pending the upcoming elections)
What does your character think of the other schools?
She probably could have gotten into Miator, but after her cousin had done so much work for Spica, Margeaux elected to go where Axelle used to teach. She's not one for rivalries, normally...but if someone were to push those buttons of hers, she could find a few good reasons to talk some trash to those stuffy Miators!
...Not that she cares, or anything.
~History~
Please write in 100 words or more your character's history before she came to Spica.
History before Astraea Hill:
After Axelle Devereaux's brief tenure at St. Spica, the music teacher found herself with another great opportunity, this time to tour with own music. But, she was rather fond of the school and recommended one of her uncles to send her young cousin to the school.
That cousin was Margeaux. Axelle could see she had some talent and wanted to make sure she had the chance to grow those talents. Living abroad and learning music did hold some appeal to Margeaux. Maybe she could also get away from all those people who kept bugging her about “The Devereaux Curse”.
Just like Axelle, and a number of other family members, Margeaux lost her left eye in an accident. It was a rather nasty car wreck, but both she and her father were otherwise left unharmed. Her father's injury came about during Hurricane Katrina. He was stayed behind to try and pack up and save as much from the family's record company as possible. From old recordings, to photographs and other bits and pieces of history.
Injury aside, Margeaux had always had synesthesia. It wasn't something she had ever shared with many people, although her father always claimed that it was what her great grandfather had and what led to the ridiculous idea of a family curse. Although, after the car accident, making that sort of argument was little tricky...
Margeaux is a little eager to try and stick it out at St. Spica. Astraea Hill seems like a fun place. And her cousin certainly had some good things to say about it.
First Year: Spending time away from home was a very different experience. Just moving to a different state would have been bizarre. But, now Margeaux is living in Japan! In a boarding school, no less! And she also spent some time getting to make a few friends. Glad to have her family's notoriety behind her, Margeaux felt that she was better able to get to know people. And the first people she met, she still finds herself very lucky to call friends.
The first Miator's self-proclaimed Grand Prince. Although, she didn't know her by that title at the time. When they first met, Margeaux simply knew her as Ubu. The silver haired girl was another first year and together, they became friends rather quickly. Ubu was a very positive person and was a big help and making Margeaux feel like she belonged on Astraea Hill. And Ubu also led her on some very fun adventures! From sneaking into the Spica Dorms, to investigating the old journal pages they had uncovered revealing the secret history of their new campus.
It was also Ubu who introduced her to her other best friend on Astraea Hill. None other than that cotton candy haired girl from Ubu's school, St. Miator, and the cousin of that very school's chancellor. Rin Minigawa. Or, as Margeaux knows her, Rinko-chan. Right away the two became very close. Margeaux can't even think about her, without a slight blush coming to her cheeks.
Second Year: Entering her second year, Margeaux found herself trying to set aside more time to spend with her friend from Miator. It may not have been the easiest thing, but Margeaux thought that Rin was more than worth it. She enjoyed the time she had to spend with her friend and found that she was almost giddy with anticipation whenever her cell carried a text from the pinkette's number. And there were many events to go to and sights to see with Rin!
Starting with the Halloween party, Margeaux had the chance to perform for an audience. Among those audience members was Rin and the night was fun...from what she can recall. Both Rin and Margeaux apparently enjoyed themselves a little too much, that night and something had happened that neither one is fully able to recall.
Which carried through, to the night of the Winter Ball, where both girls felt a little out of sorts for the majority of the evening. However, the awkwardness between them would not last. Margeaux likes being able to spend as much time as she can with Rin and over the summer break she fully intends to do just that!

Sample Post:
She would always remember what the car accident sounded like. It was orange, the sound of most terrible things. Terrible things like people who sing awful karaoke. God, she hated orange. Margeaux would have to keep an eye out for those people. There was always sure to be at least one. Especially in a school with as big a population as the one she as going to staying at for a while.
She had her headphones on. The plane ride would be long, but she could manage it, so long as she could drown out the surrounding noise. Besides, she needed to learn Japanese. It was going to be tricky, but she could get the hang of it. Her comprehension was already pretty good. Reading would be tricky, but at least she should be able to communicate.
Ever since she had been accepted, Margeaux had been diving deep into studying the language. She wasn't going to let herself look stupid over there. The person speaking on the mp3 had a nice quality to her voice. The edges weren't too sharp and it didn't spike up to loud. It was also a light blue, which tended to make for a pleasant sound.
She shut her eye and leaned back into the seat. It may be a long flight, but at least she would be able to get something done.
