Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more:
She carries a quiet, calm and collected or slightly annoyed atmosphere, but doesn't mean to seem this way. Yume can often be seen as a reserved character, as she is often lost in her own thoughts or observing the behaviours of others, and is easily annoyed, angered, saddened, and flustered.
Optimistic, idealistic, and even innocent, she is capable of being polite and has respect for others. She enjoys endulging in others' romantic fairs and giving advice, and hopes to have and be in such a loving relationship one day. She is a generally caring girl who wants nothing more than for her dreams to come true. She is very curious and pondering, and this can often get the better of her and sometimes may lead to Ume putting herself in dangerous or troubling situations, in which she is usually capable of cleverly pulling herself out of when possible. The bluenette is honest for the most part, but thoroughly thoughtful, and may lie from time to time in order to escape a situation she is in or prevent from hurting someone that she cares for. She can seem mysterious at times due to her silence and lonliness, but truly wishes to help others, make people happy, and have friends. If anything, Yume is definately ambitious, independent, and determined when it comes to her dreams and the things she wishes to achieve. And while she equally enjoys her time alone, she also enjoys being with people in most situations.
What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole?
Ume thinks the Etoile position should be someone you can admire, someone one can truly look up to. It is not only an important duty and responsiblity owed to all three schools, but idolistic position as well. She secretly hopes to one day meet the Etoile, if not become a trusted friend.
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday?
She wouldn't mind the position. She can picture herself as Etoile, sure, but isn't quite sure if the rest of the student body would want to elect her or not.
What does your character think of Cho Manatsu and Shizuka Myuzu, the current etoiles?
Yume thinks highly of them, especially of Shizuka Myuzu, and secretly thinks that make a great romantic couple/pair. She hopes to meet them face to face soon, and considers it an honour to ever do so.
What does your character think of the other schools?
Yume percieves Le Rim as interesting, fun, and wonderously creative, finding it to be a great form of self-expression -- though, admittedly, she likes the conservation of Miator. She has nothing towards Spica, even though she has never been specifically fond of sports, and actually finds it amazing that the school's students are so athetically talented... she certainly couldn't pull off what they do.
~History~
History before Astraea Hill:
Before she came to Miator, Mizuki had been raised into a wealthy family. She had always enjoyed music, enjoyed singing, and soon found a natural love for it... as well as a natural knack for writing. Her talents ranged from playing instruments, performing in choir, and writing short stories, poems, and songs. Among her favourite intruments to play, of course, being the violin. She grew up with many friends, but also many expectations from her parents. They expected the best out of her, nothing more, nothing less, and edged her on to be a famous violinist or novelist if nothing else. True, these talents were a part of her... things she enjoyed. But, more than anything, she desired to be an idol, a singer, a vocalist... and she expressed these dreams to her mother and father.
Her father did not approved of this dream, thinking that she was "better" than that -- that she could accomplish far more and be so much better, that she could honour the family name another way, in a classical way. Her mother, however, thought her desire to be a singer wonderful, and was the one to encourage her.... even secretly taking her to vocal lessons everyday in order to assist Mizuki in achieving her dream. These vocal lessons eventually payed off -- she performed in plays, then in joint concerts. Pretty soon, she recieved her own record deal with an awe-struck manager, and at the age of eleven, began singing with her own band and went by the stage name of "Yume". After a year of this, she became popular, and even had her own hit single.
However, her dream as an idol didn't last. It wasn't long until her mother fell prey to a fatal illness, and Mizuki quit her early idol career to spend time with her mother, and be there for her before she died. Within five months time, her mother passed away, only leaving Mizuki's father to care for her. After her death, however, Mizuki's father claimed that he needed time to himself, and blamed Mizuki for the misfortune, saying that she needed to be more prestigous. That she had somehow cursed her mother to death. Torn by grief and disappointment, he decided to transfer his thirteen-year-old daughter to a classy, conservative, "more sophisticated" school that would be designed to lead Mizuki back onto the right path... St. Miator.
First Year: At a public school, during her Idol career.
Second Year: Transferred to Miator; found out the roles of the Etoiles and the rules of the school; made a few accaintainces, but not neccesarily any true friends... or relationships.
Third Year: Is starting her third year.
Sample Post:
This was it. This was what would change her life forever.
Strolling in, she held her breath. Her slender fingers tightened around the strap of her native-american likened, brown-leather satchel bag. The bbmp, bbmp, bbmp of her heart making her senses slightly more acute to her own nervousness rather than those around her. Black, plain, Catholic-looking uniforms branded the hallways, adorned every girl... even her own slin figure was clad in the neccesary dress. They chattered amongst themselves, walking to class, standing in corners. Some even seemed more affectionate than merely friendly with another.
She kept walking, yet couldn't help but wonder... Will they notice me? No doubt, her previous position as an idol stood out above all else. Not to mention her unusual cyan hair. And her wealthy background... though, hopefully, this aspect would be over-looked.
Still. Her stomach turned, and her cerulean eyes began to scan the floor. Wasn't there a way she could hide? Wasn't there a way she could seem like she belonged there, like she had been there for ages? She didn't want to face this. To face people. Sure, she did it all the time -- or, well, used to do it all of the time -- when she sang for fans. But that had been different. That was singing. This? This was socialising.... being the "new" girl of a new school. It was definately far more difficult from any note that could ever be pitched.
