What kind of clothes does you character wear when she's not in uniform? Ayumi prefers feminine clothing for everyday wear, especially skirts, blouses and sweaters. She rarely wears pants or jeans as a result, and also partially because it reminds her of her sister. It's already hard enough to tell the difference between the two sisters, and she doesn't want to be mistaken for Mai.
What Clubs is you character involved in?
Cosplay/Sewing/Costume Club: Yes
Theater Club: Yes
Manga/Anime Club: Yes
Is your character on the Student Council? - No.
If yes, what does your character think of the student council president, Naomi Shizuoka? Ayumi's a bit in awe of Naomi's natural leadership qualities, which easily make her a strong president. She's heard about the President's tendency to flirt with everyone, and is split on the issue. Part of her thinks it's a little irresponsible, the other part wishes she could personally experience it. Having only seen her in passing Ayumi doesn't have much of an opinion of her beyond that.
Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more:
Ayumi is usually fairly friendly, though not overly outgoing. Given the choice she'll stick with what's comfortable rather than make drastic changes. Despite being more or less perky and upbeat she can be incredibly thick-headed. Really she's just downright stubborn when she believes she's right about something, refusing to hear the other side of the story. No matter how far-fetched it seems, if she's got an opinion about it that becomes the 'correct' one.
Sometimes this stubbornness can trigger the temper that Ayumi has worked extensively to control. Though it's much more manageable now, Ayumi has been known to have a short fuse when she's upset. Little, seemingly insignificant things still sometimes set her off. Aware and afraid of this, Ayumi avoids it leading to anything worse by storming or running off. Once she's away from the catalyst she can much more easily cool off. Like her sister Ayumi occasionally has violent thoughts, but she does her absolute most to never act on them. It's not clear if she experiences them out of her own problems or simply because of how her sister is.
Perhaps also a result of Mai's interests, Ayumi has a strong repulsion to the sight of real blood. She can tolerate seeing it in film or in books for a short time, but will invariably faint in the presence of the real thing. It's also worth noting that Ayumi is very easily flustered, especially in the presence of girls she finds pretty. Ayumi is also pretty clumsy, another source of being flustered. Under duress she'll make oddly specific denials, even if she's not even being confronted. Running away from the problem isn't out of the question either - even if she ends up running into a few doors on the away. Open doors.
What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole?
Ayumi's not really sure what to make of the Etoile position. It might make sense if it were a competition between schools still, but as it is the Etoile seems like just a popularity contest. With romantic undertones. That just confuses her more.
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday?
Ayumi would actually be happy to have some of those romantic undertones directed her way. She's worried that her sister might relentlessly insult and tease her about it, but Ayumi really wants to try running for Etoile. If she can find someone to ask, that is.
What does your character think of Shizuka Myūzu and Chokone Manatsu, the current etoiles? Having an Etoile pair from Lulim is pretty neat to Ayumi. Shizuka's pretty enough to make Ayumi spout her weirdly specific denials, and Chokone is adorable. Beyond really superficial judgments Ayumi doesn't really know them well enough to have an opinion.
What does your character think of the other schools? Ayumi really doesn't think too much about the other schools as a whole. Miator's tradition, rigidity and the fact that Mai attends it makes her uneasy about the oldest school on Astraea Hill. She likes Spica's uniform and has at one point plotted to get her own for cosplay purposes. Beyond that she goes on a student-by-student basis.
~History~
Ayumi was born as the older of twin daughters to the wealthy Kiriko household. Her parents were loving if a little laid back about raising their children. Contrary to her sister's experience, Ayumi developed into a fairly average girl. When she was younger she would always try to calm Mai down when her sister got into one of her moods. She thought it was others' fault for making Mai mad, rather than that her sister overreacted and didn't fit in. Her natural stubbornness helped reinforce the idea that Mai might just be going through a phase. Even when she would get smacked herself by Mai.
The older she got, the more she grew apart from the increasingly violent and disruptive behavior. Ayumi gave up on defending her sister's actions and made her own friends. She found interests of her own, mostly light-hearted anime and games totally unlike the horror genre Mai enjoyed. Every story she heard about Mai's behavior pushed Ayumi further away from her sister. It didn't help that they were in the same class for several years just as things reached rock bottom. Tired of how her sister was treating people, including herself, Ayumi confronted Mai about her problems. As a reward she was attacked by her own sister, and despite trying to defend herself ended up in the hospital.
Since then Ayumi has kept her distance from Mai as often as possible. While she's secretly happy to see her sister's medication helping, she remains frightened of her twin. In the interest of preventing another incident between the two, Ayumi was enrolled at Lulim.
History before Astraea Hill:

A million tiny beams of light burst through loosely drawn blinds. So many of them hit her eyes as they struggled to focus. Her limbs felt heavy, unresponsive at first and hard to lift up afterwards. Questions flooded her suddenly awakened mind. Where was she? Why was she lying down? What was that attached to her arm? Where was Mai?
Mai. The last thing she remembered was being on the ground, her sister on top of her lashing out angrily. Not with words either. She had just been complaining about how Mai's smoking made her clothes stink and herself cough. That had been the last straw. A flurry of green and white had launched herself at Ayumi, and down went Ayumi. Aches over her body reaffirmed this was a memory and not just a dream.
Ayumi was startled when she made out a pair of shadowy figures standing over her bed. Had Mai come to finish the job? Anything was possible. Those rays of sunlight illuminated the figures' faces and lay her concerns to rest. Not her sister, just mom and dad. Relief and anguish mixed in their weary expressions. It was a struggle just to lift her hand, even with her mother taking it and assisting her. There were a couple of scratches and a bruise on her arm.
"M-mom?" she asked, trying to confirm this wasn't a dream. Not believing she was off the ground, no longer at her sister's mercy.
"Ayumi, you're awake! Are you okay? Do you need anything?" her mother asked, relief taking over.
"Where's Mai?" Ayumi prodded weakly, concern for her sister temporarily surfacing.
"She's.. she's being taken care of. She needs some special doctors, honey," her mom assured her, "Just get your rest."
"Okay.." Ayumi nodded meekly. What had she done to deserve this? All she'd done was try to help Mai out. See if I try to help you again, she thought, then closed her eyes halfway and tried her best to sleep again.
