Somebody suggested that the idea of metagaming(Knowing more than your character does) would be super fun through little character journals. These are basically threads like Rin's House and my own Simple Life thread, but for your characters. What does that mean? Well, here's a little example!
Character- Today so and so kissed me! It was so sweet! I love them!
... And yeah, bad example, but you get the point. Metagaming can be considered a tad dangerous to some, but if the player is smart and doesn't powerplay, it would be a great way to:
1- Allow somebody to keep muses for a certain character flowing while reaching deeper connection to that character's personality.
2- Provide an outsider's view on a character, giving more depth and more flavor.
3- Be totally fun to write! Sometimes delving into inner thoughts can be very wordy and take away from threads, so this is a good place to do that!
Now, I know what you're thinking: "But Arcy, you said blogs too. Wazzupwitdat?"
Well, I would pin a blog as sort of like a public journal- Something anybody in the schools can see. The way I envisioned it, there would basically be a website- A social network among the entire campus- that anyone and everyone could see if they accessed the internet. On here, girls could post whatever they wanted(within realistic regulations, much like the ones on this site.) and it would allow anybody to see those things. Anything from blogs to videos to games(In fact, I remember ages back I wanted to get some Minecraft players to make an SPRP Minecraft server)
So, this may sound confusing still. Let me break it down:
JOURNALS- Private insights into a character that no other characters can see
BLOGS- Interactive website within an interactive website, where characters can all see what you do.
Feedback appreciated. I kind of poofed this out of my head at 4 in the morning so it might be awkward to read.
