Age/ Year in School: 15/Fourth Year
~ Appearance ~
Hair Color: Silver

What kind of clothes does you character wear when she's not in uniform? Mayu's wardrobe is mostly flowy and frilly clothes that give off an innocent and elegant vibe at the same time. Flashy or revealing clothes are out of the question for her. Altough she never goes as far with it as some, her clothes always have a "lolita" touch to them. White is her favorite color, since it reminds her of herself a little. Pure and yet blank.

Is your character on the Student Council? No.

Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more:
A shy and reserved girl, who prefers observing others over interacting with others. Although she will speak if spoken to, she doesn't normally seek out people. This is partly caused by her fear of rejection. Though she comes off as apathetic and distant at times, this is only a mask. Most would find her odd with how she rarely speaks and mostly keeps to herself. The girl inside is someone who can be very caring and passionate. Her attempt to appear cold usually fails and only makes it more obvious how sensitive she is. When she was younger, she was prone to random bouts of sadness and anger. Since then, she has become better at controlling her emotions and only acts out under intense pressure. Seeing the close bonds of other girls makes her secretly envious and wish for something like that herself. She isn't sure what kind of person she would be attracted to, having no experience. The sheltered life she had growing up has made her rather naive in terms of the world and how things really work. She has a childish streak at times.
This is her first time going to a normal school, so she hasn't socialized with other people her age much and isn't too good at connecting with them. Even though she wants to, it's hard for her because she really doesn't know how. This is the reason why she was sent. Her speech can sound awkward and blunt. That means that sometimes she can come off as rude without meaning to. From time to time, she can be surprisingly perceptive and notice things that other people wouldn't. Memories are very precious to her. Ever since she was little, she has kept a journal. Many, many journals. Whenever she meets someone new or sees something that she wants to remember a long time into the future, she writes about the person and her impressions of them. This is her way of making sure she never forgets anything that might be important later. No matter how small it is, she gets really upset if she forgets something. Besides her journal, her most prized possession is her stuffed bunny (Usa-chan) that is the first present she ever got from her adoptive parents. It was her only true friend as a child.
What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole? Mostly indifference. Whatever people decide to do with their time is fine with her. However, she does find it somewhat interesting how they can go from being normal girls to school celebrities just like that.
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday? To be honest, Mayu has no real interest in it. In her eyes, it's for the "popular" girls that others would look up to, not "outcasts" like herself. Not to mention that she believes her chances of finding a partner would be low. Even if someone did want to run with her, she wouldn't want all the pressure that comes with it. That said, if someone she was really liked coaxed her enough, she might open up to the idea more and consider it to make them happy. Maybe. Otherwise, not really.
What does your character think of Sado Kagami and Kitsuki Sha, the current etoiles? : Though she does hold respect for them, she has no real opinion on them as people other than her own observations. Although she would make it a point to memorize their names and faces, that would go for everyone she meets and not just the Etoile pair. The one known as Sado has been noted by her to look very masculine for a girl, which is something she's never seen before now and finds somewhat fascinating. The other one, Kitsuki, seems quite shy. She finds herself curious how a timid girl like that could handle the pressures of such a title. Thinking about it more, she came up with the theory that perhaps it's because of the support of the other one. From what she knows, she can relate to Kitsuki more than Sado. In short, she finds them a little interesting but doesn't have any intense feelings towards them. If she did meet one or both of them, she would try to be respectful while taking notes on them later.
What does your character think of the other schools? For the most part, she is indifferent about the other schools. They all have their own traditions and she feels that it's really none of her concern. However, she does have slight impressions on them. Spica seems too fast paced and competitive to her. The fact that she's not too big on sports could have something to do with this. On the other hand, Le Rim is the opposite, maybe a little too relaxed and laidback. Overall, she's satisfied with the choice of school that her parents made for her. Despite this, she has no ill feelings towards either of the schools or the girls that go there. She wouldn't judge someone based on only what school they go to, as she believes this would be unfair. There's more to people than that, at least as s far as she can tell.
~History~
Please write in 100 words or more your character's history before she came to Miator: Mayu remembers nothing about the first five years of her life, which deeply bothers her. The first memory she has is waking up in a hospital. At first, the girl was in an extreme state of shock and didn't speak at all for a few weeks, even refusing any food offered to her. It was later discovered that she was the only survivor in a murder that took the lives of her parents. At first the police thought it was random, but they later found out that they had owed money to several people. The culprit was never found, and they decided not to tell the girl this for fear of causing a relapse. Instead, she was simply told that her parents were killed in an accident.
Though she was to be sent to be put in foster care, a doctor that had been overseeing her case took pity on the girl and decided to adopt her along with his wife. They were loving parents, but out of fear that the young girl was too fragile to be out in the world herself, started sheltering her to the extreme. All of her schooling for most of her life was done by tutors. Even though they gave her everything she wanted, it wasn't enough to fill the strange hole she felt in her heart. She couldn't help but feel a strange emptiness inside that she couldn't explain. This caused her to begin to act out and destroy things around the house when they were away.
On top of this, she started to have nightmares with blurry yet disturbing images. They considered telling her the truth... but decided it would still be too much for her. Her emotions ran wild for a while, with the young girl constantly switching between emotional and apathetic. In attempt to soothe these feelings, they gave her a journal to write in. It was then that she started writing about the different people that she saw and spoke to. Which wasn't many at that point, but enough to distract her from her frustration.
When she saw other children playing together, it made her both curious and envious. Still, she didn't say anything for fear of upsetting her wonderful parents... It was only as she got older that they realized it might have been a mistake. In her isolation, she had poor social skills. It was obvious that something needed to be done. They heard about a school for young ladies called Miator and decided it was best for her to learn how to socialize with other girls. Although fearing it at first, she later warmed up to the idea and agreed to enroll. However, now that she's here... she honestly has no idea where to start. Friends... love... just what do those things mean to her? It's her wish to find out.

Fifth Year:
Sixth Year:
Sample Post: : "Just do your best. This will be good for you."
The words from her parents echoed inside her head as she mounted the hill. To be honest, she was nervous. Terribly so. She was trying her best not to let it show in her face though. It was a normal feeling to have... right? Probably. All kinds of thoughts filled her mind. What kind of people went here? Would she able to fit in or would she be... what did they call it... an outcast? Only time she could tell, she thought with a flustered face that she quickly tried to return to blank again. It wouldn't be good if she looked like a weak little new girl. Those kind of girls got taken advantage of. Or at least, that's what she had heard.
Cherry blossoms were in bloom and she paused for a moment to admire them. A gentle breeze made her hair sway in the wind ever so slightly as she continued to make her way forward. All this time she has felt almost like she was frozen in time. However, she felt a strange fear gnawing at her insides too. That fear of change that every human being has deep inside them, and Mayu was no exception to it. Her breathing starting to quicken a little, she stopped again and brushed a pale hand through her hair. It would be really embarrassing if she fainted right here. New beginnings... were they really possible? Did she want one? It was a little scary to change when everything had been the same for so long.
Yet, some part inside her knew that she had to. It wasn't good to stay in the same spot forever, never changing. While thinking this, the school buildings started to come into view and she tensed up a little. There was no turning back now. "Maybe change... would be good..." She said in a soft voice that seemed to disappear into the wind. Nodding as if to encourage herself, she walked forward more. And she would never forget this day. That was for sure. "I hope I can meet some interesting people here too." Some might find it odd that she was talking to herself like this, but fortunately no one seemed to be within earshot. Still, she thought it must be a lively place. It would be nice if she could fill up her journal with even more people.
More than anything... she desperately wanted to make new memories.
