The fall gusts howled outside the girl's bedroom window, the clouds were grey, dimming the rays of the sun making it seem as if it were late evening rather than noon. The girl with light, chestnut hair sat up in the seat of her desk, tapping the end of her mechanical pencil to the corner of her mouth. "This is a pen." she reminded herself as she studied the foreign language known as English.
Please rewrite the following in English.
これは山本くんのりんごです。山本くんのりんごは赤いです。
"This is..." she mouthed as she wrote, "Yamamoto-kun's apple. Yamamoto-kun's apple is..." she paused, scratching her head. "English is so difficult...." the twelve year old groaned to herself. She sprawled her torso over her desk, gazing at the worksheet before her. "Why do i even have to learn English? It's not like I'm ever going to America... I'm not even going to leave the prefecture... I'm too boring..."
Knock, knock...
A young, attractive figure entered the room, a boy no older than fifteen. "Hey, Ayuki, I'm about to get lunch. You want something?"
The chestnut haired girl blinked curiously. He's going out in this weather? "Eh? But it's so cold today, Onii-chan. You should stay home so I won't be alone."
"They want me over by the studio so I figured I might as well pick something up." he leaned against the doorway cooly, a half smile on his face.
Ayuki's eyes widened in surprise, twinkling like little stars with amazement. "You got the job?" she asked excitedly.
Her brother nodded subtly, "Yup, just got the call last night. I'm now a model." He bore a grin as bright as the sun, his straight, pearly whites exposed. Indeed, Ayuki's brother was blessed with good looks as well as the natural ability in roughly everything, almost as if he stole all the things she needed for himself. Ayuki couldn't help but feel an inch of jealousy. "So you wanna come with?" he smiled at his sister.
"Yeah!" Ayuki nodded, spinning in her swivel chair. "Oh, Nii-chan!" she said as she caught a glimpse at her homework. Her brother turned back, raising an eyebrow at his younger blood, "What's English for 'aka'?"
"Red." he said, the exotic word slipping awkwardly off his tongue.
"Reeeeed..." Ayuki repeated as she scribbled the word down on her paper.
--
The harsh, fall breeze stung the sibling's cheeks as the headed towards the studio. The udon they recently had warmed their full stomachs, but their skin was freezing over. It was too cold for this season! The dazzling lights of the studio glowed through clouded streets, a smile appeared on both Ayuki and her brother's face. "There it is." the elder said. "Let's go." the two siblings rushed towards the building, longing for the warmth it gave as well as stealing a glimpse of some big time models. The digital chime of the door resounded through the room as the two walked in. Eyes of admiration were laid on Ayuki's older brother, while the smaller girl was just overlooked.
"Oh, Tomohisa, there you are!" a middle aged woman rushed towards Ayuki's older brother, wearing a bright smile. "Ah, we have a shoot prepared for you. Nothing big, though, so no need to worry."
"Oh, okay." the handsome teen smiled softly, "But what about my sister?" he glanced at Ayuki who stood closely to his side.
"Who?" the woman raised an eyebrow, looking around the studio lobby. "Is she cute as well?" Tomohisa pointed a finger at Ayuki, whom the older woman seemed to have overlooked. "Oh," she said, finally noticing the chestnut haired girl, "She can go sit over there. It won't take too long, I promise." She shooed Ayuki away with her hand before stealing Tomohisa to the back room where they must've had the shoot. Her elder brother looked back to his sister, delivering a final wave before being rushed onto set, Ayuki waved back timidly.
The small girl idly sat in the cushioned loveseat, awaiting for her brother's return. Her legs kicked with boredom and her eyes scanned the room. She noticed that all the people who surrounded her owned something she didn't, a passion. A driving force in their lives which allowed them to strive for the best. A goal set in the future which kept them pushing. A dream weaves by their childlike imaginations that they one day hoped to achieve. Ayuki sighed as she reached into her coat pocket....hm? An unfamiliar item brushed against her had. The young girl pulled it out and unfolded the colorful object, it seemed to be a brochure.
"Astraea Hill".
It was the pamphlet her teacher handed to her on Friday about a school full of well educated females from influential families. She was encouraged to go because of her academic success. Her teachers also thought that it'd be a good, independent experience for her to find a passion. "Am I really good enough for this?" Ayuki thought full of worry, "After all, I'm just... Normal."

Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more:
Like a blank sheet of paper and unmolded clay, Ayuki is a new egg who has yet to find a true passion. Her pureness and uneventful past allows her to trust anyone and everyone almost instantly. Thus, making her easy prey for anyone who can promise her fulfillment.
Ayuki's mundane demeanor often leads to her being forgotten about, so she is constantly striving to stand out, although her insecurities tend to wall her from her goals. As of now, the only thing that truly makes little Ayuki stand out would be her academic success; perfect scores all around for she really doesn't have much else to do outside of studying. The 12 year old may also come off as a teacher's pet as she tends to stay after school or during break times to help out her elders, showing that she's more comfortable around adults than those her age. Despite being quiet around her peers, if one becomes her friend, she radiates her bright and cheery inner personality. Ayuki is also quite the crybaby. From tears of joy to tears of sadness, Ayuki will cry over almost everything, even spilled milk. Due to Ayuki's habit of immediately trusting someone, she is very easy to take advantage of and can be manipulated without even knowing. She almost always sees the good in others since she never had any past experiences to prove otherwise.
Ayuki's athletic skills are average, her art skills don't surpass anyone of her age, her logic skills are simple (which often leads to her coming off as a bit of a ditz), and her personality doesn't stand out either. Overall Ayuki is just plain normal. However, the first year does have a very good memory, making it easier for her to learn things.

What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole?
Ayuki thinks that the position of Etoile is quite a majestic honor and believes that the whole aura surrounding it is fun! Especially the fact that classes are dismissed early.
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday?
No.
What does your character think of Sado Kagami and Kitsuki Sha, the current etoiles?
Ayuki is a quite the fan of Sado Kagami, finding that her appearance and personality is like that of a prince. If she were lucky enough to even catch a glimpse of the Etoile, she would be happy beyond measures. As for Kitsuki, Ayuki enjoys how someone petite like her can stand out so much. She tends to take notes from the Etoile, incorporating what Kitsuki does into her style in hopes of standing out, turning the Ike Etoile into an idol-type character for her.
What does your character think of the other schools?
Ayuki prefers Lulim over her school for their extra-curricular activities. However, she stays in Miator due to it's top education.

History before Astraea Hill:
Ayuki grew up in a very normal, middle-class family consisting of her father, mother, and older brother. Every aspect of Ayuki's life was average, but as middle school grew near, she began to notice her friends finding interests in different hobbies which took them down paths with exciting new experiences. Even her brother, who took up a modeling career at fifteen, was beginning to have success in his high hopes and aspirations. With less and less time to spend with her now successful friends, the young girl spent her lonely hours at home studying. Her time soon paid off for she had the highest grades in her prefecture. On her school's behalf and with her parent's support, Ayuki was sent to Astraea Hill to find a true passion as well as commit to a good, yet challenging education. This was the excitement she was longing for!
Due to her quiet nature and mundane looks, Ayuki was often forgotten about to the point where she felt invisible. People often invaded her personal space as if she wasn't there at all. "Oh, I didn't see you there." or "Who are you again?" were common lines directed towards Ayuki. In hopes of standing out, Ayuki went to Astraea Hill and enrolled in St. Miator Girl's Academy, believing that if she stayed at the top of her class there (or even found a passion), she'd surely stand out!

Sixth Year:
Nothing had really happened that year. Ayuki made a few friends but kept to herself most of the time. She was more overwhelmed by the fact that she was so far away from family.
Second Year:
Ayuki became a friend of Akemi during this year, following her around and doing errands for the girl's blog. She was really cool! Ayuki grew to admire her a lot! She also decided to cut her hair to match her now matured body.
Third Year:
Despite her new hairstyle, Ayuki had failed to stick out for much of the school year. The pressure of Miator's education and the high academic expectations she had to live up to definitely prevented her from getting out much during most of her third year. However, as spring rolled around, Ayuki's friendship with Akemi rekindled, picking up just as it was when they unexpectedly parted ways. Their reunion helped Ayuki break through her shell as the two ran for the Etoile crown together. The pair earned the crown for Miator after a hair splitting tie. Ayuki vowed that she would become stronger not only for Akemi, but also for the other shy girls like her throughout the school.
