Name: Izanami "Yuudai" Sato her face suddenly became warm and a red color rushed throughout her cheeks. "Having male body parts..." But that was the final step of the transformation, that would have to wait for later. But she could achieve the previous ones, right? "Testosterone supplements...." Yuudai's eyes gleamed as she stole a peek at the orange capsule on the nightstand. She had purchased it earlier that day and was eager to start taking it. She reached for the bottle, until there was a shuffle outside the door of the room. Yuudai's ears flicked at the sound, suddenly seeming suspicious. She retracted her hand and placed her phone beside her pillow.

Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more:
Yuudai prefers to keep to herself since she sees herself as an outcast, but when she's around close friends, she can be an interesting person to be with. On the exterior, Yuudai seems quiet and distant because she doesn't say much and rarely shows emotions. She prefers not to speak because she doesn't want to cause trouble - like when she opened up to her parents. After her "wall" is torn down, however, Yuudai is still rather quiet but more open to share her interesting quirks and opinions, though still hesitant on sharing her feelings. Yuudai's silence comes from years of bring put-down by her family and peers for wanting to become the opposite gender. She's afraid that if she does speak up more, others will make fun of her feelings, too.
Yuudai uses her hobbies to escape from the stress of the day. A passion of hers would be playing the drums. The sound and emotion she puts into her drum playing makes up for the lack of words she speaks. She often brings a pair of bongos with her to outings and events hoping her talent would bring smiles and a fun experience. She also has a peculiar interest in knock knock jokes and puns and enjoys telling them even if she's not good at delivering the punchline. At night, before bed, she likes to read joke books saying that they help her sleep better, and reciting them to friends the next day.
Yuudai is very tolerable of other people and their differences because of her past and how she was treated. She stands up for those who are bullied and tries to become their friends, helping to build up their self esteem. She feels most proud when she is able to make others happy because she believes that just because she can't find happiness doesn't mean she can't give others happiness.
Yuudai is very uncomfortable and sensitive about her body so she rarely goes to the public bath or goes swimming.
What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole?
Yuudai doesn't give a flying feather about the title of Etoile or the competition itself. She believes that it's all staged for the students' amusement and that it's over the top and cliched, often comparing it to professional wrestling. But she prefers to pay no mind to the event and allows everyone to believe what they wish, keeping her opinion to herself.
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday?
No.
What does your character think of Sado Kagami and Kitsuki Sha, the current etoiles?
Initially, Yuudai would treat the Etoiles like she’d treat everyone else, except with an added curiosity towards them.
If Yuudai saw Sado Kagami, she would greatly admire her custom uniform, wishing she could gather the courage to ask for the same. If she saw Kitsuki Sha, she’d think that she is very fragile, cute, and innocent but would prefer not to approach her thinking that her demeanor would scare younger girl away.
What does your character think of the other schools?
Yuudai no longer hates any of the schools, in fact, she's actually beginning to enjoy her time here. Seeing as it's a nice facility away from her parents she found nothing to complain about. The blonde is starting to grow curious about St. Spica, having a growing admiration for their program and uniforms (though she's still interested in an outfit change).
✻History
Izanami Sato was born into a strict, Christian family of six; she had a mother, father, and four elder brothers. She had lived her life abiding to her parents' rules and orders until one day, she began to contemplate on if she was meant to be born as a female. Thinking it was only the male dominance in her family that led her to the question, she shrugged it off thinking that perhaps she was just a tomboy. It wasn't until she turned fourteen when she came to terms with how she felt and told her parents that she wished to be the opposite gender. This decision strained her and her parents' relationship, her mom claiming that she felt betrayed and hurt by the way her daughter feels, her father saying she would go to Hell if she continued on like that. Her confidence drained and Yuudai began to feel insecure and shunned by her mother and father, but her brothers welcomed her in with open arms.
Music's importance in Yuudai's life grew as the relationship between her and her parents strained. Yuudai began experiment with different sub-genres of rock music, using it as an escape from the problems in her life. Her appearance was soon influenced by the music and an interest in drumming sprouted out as well. These factors led her parents to abstain her more, telling her that she was a disgrace to the family name. At this point, the tawny was fed up with her parents' verbal abuse - she decided to move out. Yuudai's eldest brother, who lived in Tokyo, offered her a place to stay until she had completed high school and had enough money to support herself. She agreed, hoping that a new start will allow her to rewrite her story.
All was going well until a few weeks later when her father brought Yuudai back to his home. Furious with his daughter, he decided to send her away to where she will learn to become the woman she was born to be - St. Lulim Girls' School.

A prince?
The handsome tawny was dubbed by as a demon prince by few, a knight by others, as she slightly grew in popularity after her Winter Ball debut. The blonde decided to attend the winter event as an excuse to act more masculine but on this fateful night, the prince had rescued Kitsuki Sha, the year's uke etoile, from a hoard of fans. The two danced for the night before Yuudai was swept away by Junko Hiruko, a first year Spican. After this, their friendship began to blossom. After parting ways at the ball, Junko and Yuudai had ran into each other other times including a day of playing Host and Hostess at the school's host club. Their growing friendship seems to have potential for a possible romance unless another girl captures Yuudai's heart first?
Emiko Nekokuran, another fifth year at Lulim. A shy girl she had met by chance on the Confession Bridge - the first love at first sight for the blonde. The two had an instant connection during the walk home in the snow, their encounter being one like a prince and a princess or a knight and his damsel. Stragglers couldn't help but stop and stare at the couple, noticing a faint, pink haze surrounding the two.

"Sick..."
"Rotten..."
"Influenced by the devil..."
The words rang throughout the blonde's mind, piercing her broken heart. The painful memories she possessed of her parents putting her down stayed fresh in her mind. She gazed up at the ceiling fan that spun in cadence. The cool air it circulated stung her maroon eyes, making her feel tired. She rolled onto her side and tapped a small button on the side of her phone. The light it emitted lit up the darkness and a bright array of colors reflected and danced on the blonde's face. The time was displayed on a simple, all black wallpaper - "12:00 am". "Huh, how about that?" the girl thought. It was exactly one month since she had ran away from her home. The relationship between her and her parents had gotten to the point where she had no choice but to leave, it was more than obvious that they wanted no part of her.
"Her..." The simple word was repeated in the girl's head. "Her..." the sound resounded in her mind once again. She repeated several times until the word began to sound... strange. But indeed, it was a foreign word to her, for she never wanted to be addressed as a her or she or girl or even her birth name, Izanami. Boy. Now that was a title she longed for. Him, he, male, or maybe even the male name she adopted herself, Yuudai. The thought of it gave her a fervent sensation all over her body, a feeling of excitement and restlessness. A rare smile of joy crept across Yuudai's handsome face, "Just the thought of becoming a boy, a real boy! No more binding, a deeper voice, facial hair, picking up girls without a problem!"
A familiar shadow entered the suite. "You up?" a young man's voice asked.
"Mm-hmm." Yuudai nodded.
The light flickered on and the man, Yuudai's older brother, looked uneasily down at the sandy blonde. "Dad's here." he said. Yuudai's heart skipped a beat, she quickly became panicked. "He wants you to pack up, says you're leaving."
"Leaving?" Yuddai thought. "To where? And why now?" Knowing her father and their strained relationship, Yuudai immediately knew she wasn't going back home, no, she was prepared for much worse. "Boot camp, maybe?" she thought as she hesitantly gathered what little items she had. She picked up her gym bag filled with her items and looked at her reflection in the mirror. She looked at the rockstar
-like demeanor presented before her. She recalled the many times girls had mistaken her for a boy in a punk rock band. A tall girl with short, sandy blonde hair blinked back at her. Her chest was almost as flat as cardboard, which made her elated, and she had perchings lined along both ears, one on her tongue, and a few around her lower lip. Yuudai sighed and ran her hands through her hair, "Nice known' ya, hair. Probably gonna have to cut you off for boot camp.
She began to trudg towards the front door where she was greeted by her father wearing an angry scowl. "Alright, let's go. You're going to miss your flight." He pulled Yuudai by the arm into the darkness of the night. She was too shocked to pull back, too shocked to even react.
"Flight?"the word repeated in her mind. "He really is sending me away... Far away..." "Where are you taking me?" Yuudai firmly asked her father, pulling back her arm.
"The airport." her father replied as he pushed Yuudai into the car. "We're sending you off to a school where you'll learn to be a proper lady, one that is deserving of our Lord and Savior."
Yuudai frowned and narrowed her eyes, this was the last thing she ever wanted. She'd rather go to boot camp where she was allowed to be rough and masculine instead of some fairy princess palace. She gazed out her window, admiring the city nightlife. Her mind was racing with questions about the sudden twist in her life.
Will she be accepted in the new school? Will she be made fun of again? Will she make friends? How will she turn out upon graduating?
Her racing thoughts slowly turned into scenarios where she began to imagine life at the new school. Tea parties, frilly dresses, tiaras, pageants, flowers, pink everywhere - the thought of her having to become a daffodil made her anxious. "Forced into this school against my will..." Yuudai frowned. "I'll show him. I'll just get myself expelled from the school. There's no way in hell I'm becoming a frilly little daffodil...."
