Name: Miyako Hayashi *ttalgi*
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Year in School: Fourth
School Attending: St. Miator Girl’s Academy
Partner: None
Roommate: None
Appearance: She is extremely petite, with pale skin, and a fragile, almost doll-like appearance.
Hair color: pale blonde and baby pink
Hair style: Long, messy, and slightly wavy. She prefers to wear it loose, and only puts it in a ponytail/bun if absolutely necessary.
Eye color: Cerulean (Blue)
Height: 4’10
Dress: When attending classes, she wears the Miator uniform. Outside of classes, she is usually seen wearing pink/white/pale yellow, frilly, girly clothing (pretty much anything pastel colored). Unlike her cousin Amaya, she has a much gentler, girlier way of dressing. She tends to prefer flowy tank tops with jeans or skirts. She always wears a pair of pale pink converse with the word ‘Love’ written on the side, a gold chain with a star shaped pendant, and a pink teddy bear backpack (her birthday gifts from Amaya).
Glasses: None
Personality: “Shy” is an understatement when it comes to this little one. Miyako hasn’t spoken a word to anyone (aside from her “Onee-chan”) since she was five years old, instead choosing to use sign language as a means of communication. She is extremely introverted, and will only interact with others if they approach her first. Despite this, she is actually a very kind hearted girl, who will go out of her way to make the people she cares for smile. Even without words, she still finds ways to achieve this. Most notably, through her poetry. Ever since her parents’ deaths, Miyako kept herself busy with poetry books. She delved deeper and deeper into the world of the written word until she finally gained the courage to start writing her own poems. Now they’ve become a means of expression for her, which she uses as a means communication for those who don‘t know sign language. She always carries a notepad and pencils in her teddy bear backpack, just in case.
View of the Etoiles: Miyako has yet to meet the Etoiles, but like all the other students, she respects them deeply. Sado reminds her of a brave knight, and Kitsuki a gentle princess. She’s not entirely sure why, but something about Kitsuki makes her feel sort of…drawn to her.
View of the other schools: She doesn’t know much about the other schools, other than the fact that Lulim’s uniforms are adorable, and Spica seems to have some sort of rivalry with Miator. She doesn’t put much stock into the rivalry, as she’s only a Miator student because of Amaya.
History: Miyako was a frail child from day one. She was constantly ill, but her parents never cared much. They were both workaholics, and rarely made time for their only child. But even with their neglect, Miyako was always a sweet, happy, friendly girl. She was always striving to make new friends. When she was only five, her parents were murdered right before her very eyes, and she was soon after sent to live with Amaya’s family. Since the tragedy, the child had refused to speak to anyone other than her favorite cousin, as she was the only person who had ever shown her any kind of concern in the past. Amaya understood the child’s feelings, and even went as far as teaching her (and the rest of the family) sign language so Miyako wouldn’t have to speak. To this day, Amaya is the only one Miyako will speak to. When Amaya was sent to Astraea Hill, Miyako sunk even further into her world of silence. It got to the point where she wouldn’t even communicate via sign language. Worried for her mental and emotional health, the family finally made the decision to reunite the heartbroken girl with her “Onee-chan” (Which is how she always referred to Amaya). They sent her off to Astraea Hill, hoping that being there with Amaya would help her become the friendly, bubbly girl she once was.
Sample Post: A stale silence filled the crisp autumn air. The only audible sound came from the crunching of the leaves beneath the young girl’s feet. Miyako’s eyes stared blankly ahead, never once averting from the object of her desire: the campus of St. Miator. A truly beautiful sight to behold. Miyako’s pink and blonde hair blew lightly in the cool breeze as she continued moving forward. Her heart beat faster and faster as she neared the magnificent building, for inside that building waited the girl whose loving embrace she had yearned for: Amaya. The bond she had with her cousin was unbreakable, even by the greatest distance. She was her savior. Her protector. Her onee-chan. As she walked, she passed many other students, each with a happy gaze upon their faces. Miyako was envious. It had been a long time since she herself had possessed such a gaze. Her blue eyes twinkled with sadness, but that sadness was replaced by sheer joy moments later. The pinkette’s cerulean orbs were met with a pair of chocolate brown ones. The chocolate brown eyes she had missed so dearly. Wasting no time, the young girl flung herself into a welcoming embrace, wrapping her own tiny arms around the other. Tears of joy spilled from her gentle eyes. “Miyako-chan…” Her voice was like music to the pinkette‘s ears. As usual, Miyako did not speak. But with Amaya, she knew she didn‘t need to. She nuzzled her face into the other‘s chest, smiling brightly. ‘Onee-chan…’
