Personality: Sayuri is a very quiet individual who doesn’t associate with many people. It’s not because she doesn’t want to, but more along the lines being that she is very shy. When her shell is broken she can be a fun outgoing person. She is afraid to let her true self out because of what people will think about her. She is terrified of Styrofoam, and hates chalk. She tends to have panic attacks when she feels that she loses control of what is going on around her. Sayuri loves origami stars, when she has free time you can find her all alone, in her room, making them. She doesn’t exactly have a favorite color, because she likes them all equally, but she tends to be a glitter freak. If she has it, you can bet it will be gone in five minutes. Whether it be on artwork or herself.
History: Sayuri Kokoro was born on a cold, blistery night in Alaska on December 11th at 1:45AM with only her mother, nurse and a doctor present. She is an only child, and grew up with her single mother for 15 years. She spent a lot of time with her grandfather, because her mother was constantly working. She loved her grandfather dearly, and felt that he was her actual father growing up. He passed away right before her 14th birthday, and she was devastated. Sayuri always carries a picture of him with her, to remember the memories she had with him. Her mother just recently married, to a man that Sayuri isn’t fond of. She only tolerates him because her mother is happy, and she hasn’t seen her like this in years. Her step father is very rich, by his family inheritance, and her mother no longer needs to work. After Sayruri turned 16 he proposed the idea to her mother about sending her off to St. Miator’s. Her mother was thrilled and thought it would be a great opportunity for her and Sayuri didn’t have a choice, she would be going as soon as the new semester would begin.

Sayuri yanked her rolling suitcase over a rock that had stopped it from moving. She sighed loudly, feeling her stomach begin to churn at the thoughts of all the new girls she would be seeing and meeting. She narrowed her eyes at the thought of her step father, and walked quickly towards St. Miator’s. She kept her head down, and tried not to curse about how she hated her step father for making her come here when she felt herself going up on an incline. She looked up and found herself breathless. Sayuri became face to face with the beautiful St. Miator’s school. The sun shone across the school and the windows gleamed brightly, and reflected small rainbows on the sidewalks. “Wow. . .” She whispered aloud, as a smile crept across her lips. “Maybe this won’t be that bad as I thought. . .” She told herself and began walking faster towards the school with a new outlook.
Sayuri fumbled with her purse around her shoulder trying to find her room key. She was standing in front of her room, M9, and was frantically searching. “I couldn’t have lost it!” She exclaimed, feeling her breathing go quicker and a panic attack coming on until she felt the cool metal against the palm of her hand. She pulled out her room key quickly, out of her purse, and the picture of her grandfather flew out along with it. She gasped, and dropped to her knees and scooped him up carefully. “I’m sorry, Papa.” She kissed his picture delicately and tucked it back into the pocket in her purse. Sayuri stood up slowly, and gripped the key her in hand. She took a deep breath and inserted the key into the keyhole and slowly turned it to the right. The door slowly opened, and she found herself staring at beautifully lit room, with one bed already made. She smiled and silently shut the door behind her, and went over to the bed that was bare.
She dropped her suitcases to the ground and opened them up and began to take all her things out and putting them into place. Sayuri grabbed her blanket and shook it out, getting the wrinkles out of it being packed in a suitcase. She let it fall onto her bed slowly, and smoothed it out, getting most of the wrinkles out of it she could. Pursing her lips, and tilting her head to the side, she decided that the blanket looked good enough. Shrugging, she turned back to her suitcase and let out a slight squeal. She found herself falling onto her bottom, and staring face to face with a little black kitten. The kitten was perched on her pillow, staring at her, and let out a quiet ‘mew’ and jumped down. “We can’t have pets, can we?” Sayuri found herself asking aloud, and felt a fluffy object rubbing up against her arm. She looked down and saw the little kitten snuggling up against her, purring like mad. Sayuri giggled, and scooped the little critter up and smiled. “Hmm, well what’s your name?” She put her nose to the kitten’s and felt herself feeling better about St. Miator’s already.
